What do you like best about Better Proposals?

Proposals are easy to write within the interface, and more importantly easy for recipients to read and review each section for necessary info including terms. UI is easy to navigate and use for beginners and advanced users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Better Proposals?

The coherence and simplicity of the offer design to money-in-the-bank that is impactful for any product/service. Although it is not advertised, essentially, BetterProposals creates a product/service website with integrated payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Better Proposals?

I dislike the PDF conversion. It leaves too many blank spaces, and it does not produce pretty reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Better Proposals:

BetterProposals will make a significant impact on anyone reading it. It is also a great tool to design the communication describing the essence of a product or service. One can make a pitch, an offer, or even a "flyer" for participants in a program you sell through BetterProposals. The integration with chat and payment gateways is also handy. I increased the conversion rate, the quality of the participants in my programs as they know beforehand what the program and their experience is about. I also doubled my fees for my services. What problems is Better Proposals solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are educating prospective buyers on the whole aspects of a product/service. It makes it easier to collect and create case studies and save them as templates. Templates are an excellent feature—payments through integration with Stripe and Chat through Zendesk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Better Proposals?

A system update on their end deleted blocks of proposals at our end, including past / signed proposals. This is dangerous. They did restore that content when I complained; but that content was agreed payment terms and should NEVER have vanished. That's a big problem in my book, that goes beyond user issues and stuff like that.

Using the system is clunky, and links within explanations often go to other explanations that have been deleted / removed or are just broken links. The support team is UK based, so if that timezone does not mesh with your operations, then steer clear as you are unsupported when actually using the system; or have to commit to some after hours work just to use something that plenty of other companies offer. I'd got the demo learned then sign to try to send one proposal to a customer: The proposal never arrive to my customer, terrible software, crash a lot, still need improvement, very basic, AND customer support ONLY contact you to get your money, after that you are in your own. 2 weeks after joining and still customer support don't answer and my meeting is today!.

I will use email and Power Point to be safe. Don't waste your time and money. TRUE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Better Proposals?

Create beautiful proposals, track them, use templates, add in options, embed videos. It's a great software! I'm a software consultant and it's helped me not only save time on proposals, but deliver a really great, simple experience to the client. Read, choose your options, sign, and all the admin is out of the way, we can dive straight in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Better Proposals?

The payment tables are fiddly. The backend for this is lacking - what services do you have, are they one-off vs. recurring, Are they included vs. not included. The other thing is about the contract - right now we're only using one, but it would be nice to have the option to say add in a contract depending on what the client's selected. So if they select say a 6 month support package, add in an SLA contract, that kind of thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Better Proposals:

It's a great software. If you don't already have templates for your proposals, map those out before diving in. Especially the pricing bit. It'll be a lot easier to set up if you have a blueprint in hand! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Streamline my proposal sending process. Easier to explain the scope of my work. Much easier for me to say reuse videos that will do a better job explaining software and always be up to date - i love this feature. It takes a lot of the client "education" time out of the equation.
