"Lightweight and ridiculously fast screen video recording app for collaboration"

What do you like best about Berrycast?

Compared to other solutions, like Cloudapp, Berrycast is ridiculously fast - both in terms of the interface and in terms of the video encoding. It takes mere seconds to have a shareable link with a fully processed and viewable video. It is also easy to share via email and personal link including password protection Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Berrycast?

I would prefer an even tighter Microsoft Teams integration, making use of the normal "sharing" functionality and access permissions of Teams (i.e. sharing with individual people internally / externally, as well as group permissions) . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Berrycast:

When we rolled out Berrycast to users across the company, we also created a small elearning course and gave specific guidance on what videos need to be password protected, and which not. I think the tool itself is very good - however the productivity booster comes from educating people on its use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Berrycast solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Berrycast daily to explain complex tasks to co-workers - but we also use it to record elearning content that we need to include in courses. For me it is a relevant productivity driver, making it much faster to record a short video to explain next steps, context, etc - then to write it all out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Berrycast?

Wow! Berrycast is FAST! AND it's a desktop app to boot! It's incredible! I never thought I'd find something to compete with Loom, but then along comes Berrycast and they did something really right.

I don't know what more to say: It works as is promised: Record your screen, stop the recording… and you're done!

It even gives me folders so I can create tutorial videos for clients and stash them inside of their appropriate folders Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Berrycast?

This is a very nitpicky type of thing, but every now and then, I will be entering in a title to the video that I just created and the processing of the video will complete and jump my cursor outside of the box where I was typing my title. That's a very small deal ... And probably one that the developers will fix sometime in the future when they get to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you've been struggling to find a tool that lets you teach short lessons in a screen cast and quickly get them to the people who need to see them, and you're sick of tech and software getting in the way of that, then seriously consider Barrycast Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Berrycast?

The UX/UI is great, modern, and lean. Very easy to use.

What do you like best about Berrycast?

Fast and well designed tool that I use daily. Generous hosting and auto-upload functionality. Very responsive and intuitive interface. Fast video uploads, hosting and good video quality.

Fast, easy and light on my cpu. Not much to complain about on my end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Berrycast?

The 2.30 hour record limit per video. I cannot think of much else right now. That would be added functionality for streaming and a more elaborate hosting platform. They are goung to increase it they have said to that is positive. Not many record for that long anyway.

Make sure to check out options such as cloudapp and nimbus note and snagit before you decide on Berrycast. They are all good and have different use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Making recording quick videos to send as instructions or for fun easy and seamless. Can handle long videos with a camera function and auto insertion of you in the edge of the frame. Very handy and useful when you do all kinds of videos and need versatility.
