I like that it has a neat tab on my computer that makes recording straightforward. The editing features are quite helpful, letting me perform basic edits, pause recordings, and share my screen. I can use a highlighter and even draw or label text, which is great for teaching and customizing screen recordings. The initial setup was really easy too, which made getting started with Berrycast hassle-free. **What do you dislike about Berrycast?** I would love it to have a way for me to adjust the sizing of my face when I share myself during the recording. However, I received an email from their support team saying that the transcribe option has been disabled by default. I tried to turn it back on but the option is no longer available. They said it was to save cost because people were not using it. What about the people who paid for it? I am disappointed. Recording computer audio is often missing from tools - but Berrycast automatically recognizes internal audio without installing additional drivers or anything! I love how I can change workstations and still have all of my data in the one account. I love that I'm not tied into a Chrome extension, and how fast it is to install and erase without a trace! Berrycast loads REALLY fast - and is SUPER lightweight! Amazing! I can customize to exactly the options I need, there's no lag - the settings are easy to access - the mouse cursor option is just right - keyboard shortcuts are easy to remember. Berrycast is just enough features without the bloat and super clean and pleasant interface. I'm pleasantly surprised with this software and will be a life-long customer! Also - the comment section is incredible! Guests can comment without logging in, which is great if I'm sending to one person. Users already with a Berrycast account can respond with a video as well! **What do you dislike about Berrycast?** For now, there's no offline saving - i.e. I need to be online to record and upload the videos. Still, the audio and video are saved in the cache on the computer, and playable, but have to stich it together manually. There are a variety of configurable settings to customize your experience. The logo can be turned on or off. The camera can be turned on or off. Pausing and resuming of recording can be done with just a click. And all the video is automatically uploaded while the recording is underway. There is a Teams bolt in as well! **What do you dislike about Berrycast?** There aren't any negative drawbacks to this software - it works as advertised! Even with internet disruption, the video is saved in your local system and uploaded to the server soon. Once your video is ready, you can email it to your contacts from the tool itself. You need not copy the link and then go to your email editor and send it. The convenience is very high. **What do you dislike about Berrycast?** The video window capturing your face is only a rounded rectangle. I would love it if it can be a circle. It takes mere seconds to have a shareable link with a fully processed and viewable video. It is also easy to share via email and personal link including password protection **What do you dislike about Berrycast?** I would prefer an even tighter Microsoft Teams integration, making use of the normal "sharing" functionality and access permissions of Teams (i.e. sharing with individual people internally / externally, as well as group permissions) . **Recommendations to others considering Berrycast:** When we rolled out Berrycast to users across the company, we also created a small elearning course and gave specific guidance on what videos need to be password protected, and which not. Berrycast is FAST! AND it's a desktop app to boot! It's incredible! I never thought I'd find something to compete with Loom, but then along comes Berrycast and they did something really right. I don't know what more to say: It works as is promised: Record your screen, stop the recording… and you're done! It even gives me folders so I can create tutorial videos for clients and stash them inside of their appropriate folders **What do you dislike about Berrycast?** This is a very nitpicky type of thing, but every now and then, I will be entering in a title to the video that I just created and the processing of the video will complete and jump my cursor outside of the box where I was typing my title. That's a very small deal ... Great recording quality too for audio and video, use it almost daily! **What do you dislike about Berrycast?** Sometimes the recording tab appears when screen sharing over other video calls, would be nice to have it hidden **What problems is Berrycast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Working from home is difficult for many companies, we are able to use Berrycast for our internal and external communication among team members to improve our productivity and minimise errors. The branding features and more importantly, the simplicity of UI is a nice touch too. ### 26. Very responsive support, owners are very feedback-driven. Great experience so far. Generous hosting and auto-upload functionality. Very responsive and intuitive interface. Fast video uploads, hosting and good video quality. Fast, easy and light on my cpu. Not much to complain about on my end. **What do you dislike about Berrycast?** The 2.30 hour record limit per video. I cannot think of much else right now. That would be added functionality for streaming and a more elaborate hosting platform. They are goung to increase it they have said to that is positive. Not many record for that long anyway. Video quality of the end product could be better. **Recommendations to others considering Berrycast:** Make sure to check out options such as cloudapp and nimbus note and snagit before you decide on Berrycast. They are all good and have different use cases. **What problems is Berrycast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making recording quick videos to send as instructions or for fun easy and seamless. Can handle long videos with a camera function and auto insertion of you in the edge of the frame. Very handy and useful when you do all kinds of videos and need versatility. It solves a problem with time drain. everything with Berrycast is fast and straightforward. Excellent software overall and I can't wait to see what the development team has in store for the future. ### 28.
