You can surely appreciate how well the sounds are produced, the audio quality is exceptional. You don't have to jump through hoops to download and the website is easy to navigate. Lastly, I think this is a great place for introductory filmmakers or students to mess around with before they decided to purchase better audios. Being able to download different file types makes it very beneficial for bigger companies with stricter guidelines. The way they categories their music is a perfect little "playlist" for you to chose from, it makes finding what you need so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Bensound? Unfortunately, one of the downsides is how well-known Bensound is, therefore it is extremely overused. I would say that Bensound either needs to filter in new audios or make their price point more reasonable. I'd say that it'd be worth exploring new websites since typically this is the first result when you google "royalty-free music". There is a limited amount of audio as well, probably less than 500 I would say- the download quantity is far less than that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Bensound solving and how is that benefiting you? Bensound is great, don't get me wrong. Throughout high school, it was the number one place to search for music for whatever project I was working on. Sadly, there aren't that many options to chose from and most of the free downloads are not extremely overused. In this new micro-influencer era, everyone is trying to get as much bang for their buck on any platform! That means that you'll hear the same "happy go lucky" tune on youtube, then the same audio when you hop on Instagram, and so on. I suggest if you really want to stand out from the rest, INVEST! Just got a subscription or take a deep dive to find less well-known platforms. As mentioned previously, it would be nice to see Bensound filter in new audios or even offer a bigger library. The only other thing I would suggest is tier-based subscriptions or even free trials. Maybe Bensound has been in the game for too long that they've become complacent but there is a huge market for royalty-free music and they are falling behind.
