Besides the platform itself, Alaya's team is very available, quick to reply and always do their best to find the optimal option. **What do you dislike about Benevity?** I would appreciate to have a space to upload more company content such as processes, how-to's or articles. It would also be interesting to have an "education" section with articles or search on sustainability, wellbeing and diversity/inclusion topics. Could be gamified as well with for example, quizzes at the end. It allows each of your employees to get involved and support the causes they deeply care about, and as a company, it gives you the opportunity to organize initiatives matching your corporate needs and values and to federate your team. **What problems is Benevity solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes colleagues come together and talk about activities, initiatives or challenges you organize, which is very beneficial for team building. Moreover, even if employees do not participate in these initiatives, they still hear and learn about social and environmental topics. Awareness is thus increased anyway. ### 9. It's great if you use "as-is" and you can really make it your own. I like that it allows us to engage our global workforce (many solutions did not) with localized instances and experiences. I appreciate how much can be automated and pre-schedule, especially with the help of the technical support team. There's a lot of flexibility in setting up your program in terms of budgets, allowable causes, etc. The various admin features are really helpful (and I need to use more of) to now only engage others in your program, but also help distribute work and responsibilities. It's user-friendly from the admin and end-user standpoint with very little training required. The reporting tool is really powerful and provides great insights. **What do you dislike about Benevity?** Not a dislike as it comes with the territory, but there are some features that can feel a little clunky at times and require additional technical support to set up. For example, more complex matching campaigns require additional help. Once you start to figure out the logic (draw downs, running scripts, etc.) it makes a lot more sense, but it does take some getting used to. I wish there was more customization possible within things like volunteer opportunities so we could use the features in different ways. **Recommendations to others considering Benevity:** Take full advantage of their great CS and support teams and reporting. **What problems is Benevity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spark by Benevity allows us - for the first time - to truly meet the needs of our global communities. We're able to be both proactive in how we engage but also reactive in emergencies. It gives us a tool and framework for how we work with our team members and support what they care about and allows us to be flexible in times of crisis. Without Spark by Benevity, we'd not be able to manage financial and volunteer matching in a safe, secure, and vetted manner. In less than a year, we've been able to more thoughtfully empower our employees for increased impact by supporting the causes they care about. ### 10. We do CSR on the side, in addition to our normal jobs. So it's always been a challenge to organize activities employees can participate to, in domains they care about. With Alaya, employees are empowered and free to choose if and how they want to contribute, and it lightens the worload for our CSR team and allows us to work on more meaningful actions. ### 37. I've always done some volunteering work but having access to Alaya makes this much easier! They have a wide variety of activities to choose from. So far, I've cleaned our usual walking route with my pup, built bee houses, did some gardening, and translated a website from English to Hungarian. I enjoyed them all and learned something new every time! **What do you dislike about Benevity?** I really appreciate that there is a platform where I can review the upcoming activities, and sign up for an activity. It would be nice to have the platform integrated with other platforms we use at work. Eg in SharePoint, Workday, or with our Google Calendars. **What problems is Benevity solving and how is that benefiting you?** As mentioned above, taking part in volunteering activities makes me feel purposeful and happy.
