Alaya is easy to get involved with and does not require huge amounts of your time in order to do some real good in the world (you can spend much more time as you wish per cause).

The causes are varied and topical (for example, Sustainability September, or Pride-focused causes in Pride month), and cover the big and important worldwide needs and crises as well - I have donated to Afghanistan and to Gaza medical aid, for example, and I love doing our Christmas gift-giving to local kids in care, every year.

You can see the impact your organization as a whole is having as well as yourself individually, which is really inspiring and encouraging.

Alaya is a great platform to find a lot of Charity partners across the globe to engage with. it gives you the ease of identifying different volunteering opportunities and identify different NGOs supporting the various causes. It is a one roof solution for CSR activity and engagement. It has been around a year that I have been using this platform from my company. The registration process is not very simple for the NGOs and sometimes they struggle with the technicalities. Not every NGO is tech Savvy. If it is easy to register or if someone can handhold an NGO during the registration process , it will be very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We started using the Benevity platform last year to formalize our company's charitable giving match program, in which we match a percentage of each employee's charitable contributions to qualified organizations. I wasn't engaged in the launch of the program, but I've seen how switching to this platform has improved tracking over what we were doing before. It was easy to use for documenting my donations and receiving the company match. I knew what to do and when the corporate match was accomplished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The search function only allows you to narrow your results by region (US, Europe, etc.) rather than City or County, and there is a lack of support for basic questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Customer support team (Guillaume Granelli) has been taking good care of us. We have monthly call for check in.

2. Challenges are good. Employees are encouraged to participate the challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Before Alaya's convergence to Benevity, we were unable to receive the donation receipt.

2. The platform does not handle certain types of donations well. We had several campaigns (Sketcher's Walk and Make-Wish Foundation event) where the employee wants donation directed to certain sub-group within the event. In order to properly benefit the sub-group, we had to donate via event's website. Those donations by-pass Alaya platform. In order to get the matching donations, we had to ask customer service to manually input the donation to platform.

3. We have employees volunteer at kids school or local events. We would like to keep truck of volunteer hours in Alaya platform to see the impact, but it is not easy for employee to log those hours in Alaya platform. Our employees are discouraged to log their volunteer hours in Alaya platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

2 things for me: 1. ease of finding the platform within our intranet, 2. not yet enabled for single sign on so another password to remember!

The Alaya platform is the base of a company initiative called Guerbet Positive. This volunteer program allows employees to support important causes where employees would like to make a difference during working hours. This platform contributes to team-building activities, increases awareness of important causes in South Africa e.g., Food sustainability and contributes to the purpose of Guerbet. Not only is a charitable event a lot of fun but it also contributes to the employee's engagement at work. Participating in CSI project make employees feel proud to work for a company that want to make a difference through positive contributions to society. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
