"Belkasoft X + BelkaGPT offer a unified forensics meets AI-powered insight that is smarter and secure"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

Belkasoft X is a robust digital forensics suite that enables the analysis of data from a wide range of sources, including computers, mobile devices, cloud platforms, and even IoT devices. The software has an intuitive GUI with timeline analysis, and artifact carving, making it well-suited for my academic use in inspiring future generations of digital forensic investigators. Its Evidence Reader tool is particularly useful for securely sharing findings, which supports collaborative investigations for students.

BelkaGPT is an AI-powered assistant integrated into Belkasoft X, built to accelerate forensic analysis while maintaining evidential integrity. Operating entirely offline, it creates a knowledge base from extracted artifacts and answers natural-language questions with cited references, students verify AI outputs. This is of great importance as the students of today will be in a world full of AI, and understanding the limitations is important. BelkaGPT reduces triage time and aids with narrative building, its outputs still require examiner validation, reinforcing its role as an assistive—not autonomous—tool in digital investigations. What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

To use BelkaGPT you need a powerful PC to run the AI agent, however this gives students time to explore themselves and then verify the results. Within academia the abilty to use the Evidence Reader is really useful as costs can quickly spiral. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Forensic Platform Built for Real Investigators"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

The platform is clearly built by people who understand investigative workflows, not just data structures. The way Belkasoft Evidence Center unifies computer, mobile, cloud, and memory forensics in a single environment reduces tool switching and cognitive overhead, which matters when cases are complex or time sensitive. The automated artifact extraction is strong, but what really differentiates it is that the automation never feels like a black box, everything remains transparent and examiner-controlled.

I also appreciate Belkasoft’s emphasis on advanced areas like RAM analysis, cloud artifacts, and cross-source correlation. Those features align closely with how modern investigations actually unfold, especially when dealing with encryption, anti-forensics, or transient evidence. Finally, the company’s responsiveness to the forensic community and willingness to evolve the tool based on practitioner feedback makes it feel like a long-term partner rather than just a software vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

The interface, while powerful, can feel dense and intimidating, especially for newer examiners. Many features are exposed at once, and without strong defaults or guided workflows, the learning curve is steeper than it needs to be. In training or academic environments, that means more time spent on tool orientation instead of investigative reasoning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Interface and Unified Forensic Tools Make Belkasoft Stand Out"
4/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

What I appreciate most about Belkasoft is its intuitive interface and the convenience of having various forensic analysis tasks unified within one platform. Furthermore, the software is regularly updated to keep pace with emerging trends, such as the integration of features like BelkaGPT and support for both mobile devices and Windows systems. I also find the report generation capabilities particularly helpful, as they allow me to present analysis results in a clear and organized manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

One aspect I dislike about Belkasoft is that it lacks support for analyzing some key artifacts, which can be important in certain forensic investigations. The timeline functionality could also be improved, as it is a critical element when reconstructing events during an investigation. Additionally, the tool does not currently allow users to create their own custom modules, which would greatly enhance flexibility and extensibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful and Practical Digital Forensics Platform with Excellent Learning Resources"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

Belkasoft offers a very practical and investigator-focused approach to digital forensics. The tools are powerful, well-structured, and capable of handling complex forensic artifacts efficiently. I especially liked the clarity in how Belkasoft explains evidence parsing and analysis workflows, which makes learning and applying digital forensics much easier, even for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

Some advanced features can feel overwhelming at first and require time and hands-on practice to fully understand. Additionally, access to the full enterprise features can be expensive for individual learners or students, though the learning resources and training content help bridge this gap significantly. "BelkaGPT Integration Elevates Value and Parsing Speed"
4/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

The integration of BelkaGPT into Belkasoft has noticeably increased the product's overall value. The graphical user interface is both clean and user-friendly, though it does feel a bit unusual at times. When it comes to the search function, it still lags significantly behind some competitors. However, the software excels in parsing speed, which is impressively fast. The GPT feature stands out as a pioneering addition in the DFIR field, as it can greatly reduce the time needed to access relevant information while also showing the source artifacts. For example, you can ask a straightforward question like “are there any pictures of dogs?” and receive a direct answer along with references to where the results were found.

The software instalation is pretty straight forward and the custommer support is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

The GPT feature could be improved by increasing its speed, and it would be even better if the response limit could be removed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Forensic Tool with Room for Enhancement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

I use Belkasoft for mobile and computer forensics, and what I love most about it is how easy it is to use. The GUI interface is clean and well-organized, which significantly simplifies the process of finding evidence quickly. Unlike many forensic tools that have similar features, Belkasoft stands out for me due to its ease of searching, locating artifacts, bookmarking artifacts, and generating timelines. These functionalities are crucial for my work, and Belkasoft executes them with great efficiency, making my forensic investigations smoother and more organized. Furthermore, the initial setup of Belkasoft was hassle-free, just a simple click and install process without any difficult steps, which made it very user-friendly. The overall ease of use and the tool's efficiency in handling forensic tasks make Belkasoft a valuable asset in my forensic toolkit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

I dislike that Belkasoft cannot produce reports in DOC format. I think they should add this feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast and Powerful Forensic Analysis Tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

I appreciate Belkasoft X's capability to provide fast, holistic, and in-depth analysis by gathering scattered forensic data from both Windows and mobile devices on a single platform. Its powerful mobile parsers, timeline, and visual AI analysis support significantly enhance deleted data recovery, contact analysis, and reporting processes. The ease of initial setup is commendable as well, with the installation process being straightforward and requiring minimal configuration. This efficiency is augmented by guided instructions for any additional module downloads, providing a ready-to-use experience almost immediately. Furthermore, Belkasoft offers excellent rapid preliminary analysis and artifact detection, making it a valuable tool in conjunction with others like Volatility, Autopsy, and Cellebrite for deeper analysis in specific areas such as RAM forensics, file carving, and mobile deep analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

I find that Belkasoft's timeline and visual chart performance can degrade when handling large datasets. Additionally, some mobile parsers can be slow to catch up with app updates, which affects the efficiency of the tool. While Belkasoft is generally powerful, the tool would benefit from further enhancements in RAM analysis, report customization, and AI language capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
