"Efficient Forensic Tool with Room for Performance Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

I like Belkasoft for its ability to quickly process and organize forensic artifacts from various data sources in a single interface, making navigation through evidence straightforward. The platform is intuitive and helps me efficiently identify relevant information during investigations. I appreciate its artifact parsing capabilities, timeline analysis, and reporting features, which save significant time compared to manual analysis. Belkasoft's automatic parsing of a large number of forensic artifacts allows me to quickly access information like browser activity, user accounts, application data, system events, and file history, ensuring important evidence isn't overlooked. Additionally, the initial setup was easy, and the platform is very user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

I find that performance could be improved when working with very large datasets or complex cases, as processing and navigation can sometimes become slower depending on the evidence volume. Cases involving significant volumes of data can require substantial processing time, so improvements in indexing speed, artifact loading, timeline generation, and system resource management would make the workflow even more efficient for a forensic analyst. "Comprehensive Digital Forensics Tool with Minor API Challenges"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

I like that Belkasoft employs BelkaGPT, an offline, secure on-device AI assistant that handles natural language queries without cloud data leakage. The perpetual licensing model offers a high cost-to-performance value. I find the advanced visualization modules, including Connection Graphs, Timelines, and geographical maps, very beneficial. The powerful all-in-one ingestion from computer hard drives, mobile devices, cloud, and volatile RAM is impressive, along with the automated carving of over 1,500 digital artifact types. I appreciate the inclusion of native viewers for registry, SQLite, Plist, and the file system without needing external tools. The initial setup was too easy and simple for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

I find limitations when managing or bypassing two-factor authentication during cloud acquisition. There's also a challenge with targeted API extraction and token refresh automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mature, Well-Balanced Digital Forensics Platform Backed by Excellent Training"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

Belkasoft continues to prove itself as one of the most mature and well-structured providers of digital forensics solutions. Their applications are stable, intuitive, and clearly built for professionals who need fast, accurate results. The Belkasoft X platform, in particular, impresses with how it combines automation with manual control, striking an excellent balance between efficiency and accuracy.

One aspect worth praising is the very well-thought-out interface: clean, logical, free of unnecessary elements, which significantly reduces onboarding time for a new investigator. Advanced features — carving, timeline, artifact analysis, extensive mobile device support — are implemented in a way that simplifies the workflow rather than complicating it.

Belkasoft's courses are surprisingly well structured. It's clear they were created by people who not only know the product but also understand how an analyst actually works in practice.

Conclusion

Belkasoft offers a complete package: powerful, stable, well-optimized software, plus courses that genuinely help you become proficient in using it. It's a rare combination of solid technology and quality education. I confidently recommend it to anyone working in digital forensics or cybersecurity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Belkasoft X Streamlines Digital Investigations with a Clean, Cohesive Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

What I like most about Belkasoft X is how it brings many different types of digital evidence into a single, cohesive investigation workflow. Rather than switching between multiple tools, I can review Windows artifacts, SQLite databases, browser history, application data, and other artifacts all in one place, which makes my analysis noticeably more efficient.

The interface is clean and easy to navigate, even when I’m working with large datasets. I also appreciate how the artifact views are organized to help me understand the context of the evidence, instead of simply presenting raw data. During the Windows Forensics and Advanced SQLite Queries courses, this structure made it much easier to validate findings and follow the investigation process step by step.

Performance has been solid in my experience, and the onboarding through Belkasoft's training courses has been one of the biggest advantages. The courses don’t just teach the software; they also explain the forensic concepts behind the artifacts, which helps me understand why the evidence matters and how it should be interpreted in a real investigation.

I haven’t had the opportunity to use BelkaGPT yet, but overall my experience with Belkasoft X has been very positive. As a Digital Forensic Analyst, I value tools that help me work efficiently while still giving me the ability to verify findings, rather than relying only on automated results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

Overall, my experience with Belkasoft X has been very positive. If I had to point out something that could be improved, it would be the learning curve for new users. Because the platform offers so many features and artifacts, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for investigators who are just getting started with DFIR.

I also think some artifact views and advanced options could include more built-in explanations or guidance. While the training courses do a great job of teaching the concepts, having additional contextual tips directly in the interface would make it easier to understand certain artifacts without switching back to the documentation.

I haven't used BelkaGPT yet, so I can't comment on its AI capabilities. As for Belkasoft X, I think continuing to improve the onboarding experience and in-product guidance would make an already strong forensic platform even more accessible to new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Digital Forensics with Intuitive Analysis"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

I like Belkasoft for its intuitive interface and powerful artifact analysis capabilities. It simplifies SQLite database analysis, helping extract forensic evidence quickly, which makes investigations more efficient and accurate. The intuitive interface allows me to locate and review forensic artifacts easily without a steep learning curve. The artifact analysis features automatically parse SQLite databases and other evidence, reducing manual effort and helping me identify relevant data more quickly, saving time and improving the efficiency of forensic investigations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

I would like more advanced learning resources and practical examples for beginners. The interface is easy to use, but adding additional tutorials and guided workflows for complex forensic scenarios would enhance the learning experience. Belkasoft could expand its training by offering some free resources for beginners, as well as more hands-on labs based on real-world forensic cases. Covering advanced artifact analysis, timeline reconstruction, and including step-by-step guided exercises, sample datasets, and scenario-based challenges would be really helpful. "Solid Tool for Learning Digital Forensics Workflows"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

Belkasoft X does a great job unifying evidence extraction and analysis in one platform — I don't need to jump between separate tools for mobile, computer, and cloud forensics. The timeline and case analysis features make correlating artifacts across sources much faster, and the built-in carving/parsing for a wide range of apps saves a lot of manual work. The interface is also fairly intuitive for a forensics tool, which helps when you're under time pressure during an investigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

The learning curve can be steep for new users, especially when trying to make full use of the more advanced analysis and correlation features. Processing large datasets or images can also take a fair amount of time, which slows things down when you're working under a deadline. Documentation could be more detailed in places, particularly for some of the less common artifact types, which sometimes means relying on trial and error or outside forums.
