Bedrock Estimating is a cloud-native construction estimating platform designed to help contractors move from plan review to completed bids faster. It combines digital takeoff, cost estimating, assemblies, proposal generation, CRM, bid tracking, scheduling, and project collaboration in one browser-based system. Estimators can upload PDF plans and measure linear footage, area, volume, counts, and pier quantities directly on the drawings. Per-sheet scale calibration helps maintain accuracy across plan sets, while linked assemblies convert takeoff quantities into complete cost calculations for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, production rates, crews, and man-hours. Bedrock includes a customizable cost database organized using CSI MasterFormat codes. Contractors can manage local labor rates, material pricing, equipment costs, subcontractor pricing, and composite crews based on how their company actually estimates work. Markups, overhead, profit, bonds, alternates, and pricing scenarios update in real time, giving teams a clear view of direct cost and final bid price. Once an estimate is complete, Bedrock can generate professional, branded proposals with customizable content, dynamic project information, and PDF export. Its built-in CRM and bid calendar help teams organize owners, general contractors, architects, contacts, due dates, follow-ups, and project opportunities without relying on separate spreadsheets or sales tools. Bedrock also supports visual scheduling, allowing estimate line items and assemblies to be converted into project tasks, milestones, crew assignments, durations, and timelines. Multi-user workspaces, role-based access, company-level data isolation, and real-time collaboration help estimating teams work together while keeping project and pricing information organized. Bedrock Estimating is built for concrete contractors, earthwork contractors, framing companies, MEP contractors, steel fabricators, drywall contractors, masonry contractors, roofing contractors, and self-performing general contractors. It is designed for construction businesses that want a modern alternative to disconnected PDF viewers, spreadsheets, legacy estimating software, and standalone proposal tools.
