What do you like best about Beautiful.ai?

I love how Beautiful.ai significantly simplifies my workflow by offering a massive library of layouts, images, and icons, making it easy to find the perfect slide design for any purpose without starting from scratch. The intuitive interface means I don't need to be a slide design expert, and the time-saving aspect is invaluable for my busy consultancy work, as it allows me to produce highly polished and professional-looking slides with minimal effort. The software streamlines the process of generating new content, eliminating the usual design headaches associated with traditional presentation tools. Additionally, the fantastic support model enhances my experience, providing reliable assistance whenever needed. Beautiful.ai's efficient automation of tasks like aligning elements that would be cumbersome in other software makes it my primary choice over PowerPoint for crafting aesthetically pleasing and impactful presentations. What do you dislike about Beautiful.ai?

I think there are still lots of improvements that could be made to Beautiful.ai. The ability to import existing presentations and have them converted into Beautiful.ai's format is still very immature. This feature needs to become more robust to ensure that the converted presentations look reasonably similar to their originals. Additionally, although I appreciate the beautiful design of the slides, there needs to be an option to include more content on a single slide, even if it compromises some of the visual appeal. Clients often require me to include several items on one or two slides, and Beautiful.ai currently struggles with this. As a result, I find myself having to use other tools like PowerPoint to meet these requirements. This makes it challenging to utilize Beautiful.ai for presentations with content-heavy slides, necessitating workarounds outside of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Predatory practices - user beware"

What do you like best about Beautiful.ai?

It was ok, the AI piece was minimal, helped with some formatting and picture placement. Not noticably easier to use than MS Powerpoint or Google Slides. Average. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beautiful.ai?

I trialed Beautiful.ai when preparing a presentation for my job interview. It was a free trial and like all free trials they expire (standard practice). As everyone has likely experienced before, I forgot to cancel the trial before the deadline. These guys then proceeded to not charge me for 1 month but for an entire year ($150)! I reached out to them directly and they declined to refund me. To charge a trial customer automatically for an entire year versus put them on a month by month is absolutely a predatory practice and I'll be sure to warn anyone I know in my network about using this product. I like the AI Bot that creates beautiful slides with great visuals. This enables one to create an entire presentation in a short time. It is better than other platforms because of the numerous templates available and the accuracy. The suggestions to shorten or change the tone of the text are also plus.
