"Great for Lead Capture at Events, But Limited Integration Depth"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Beambox?

The platform does what it’s supposed to do, and does it really well making professional lead capture during events as easy as can be. Chaining a branded and compliant WiFi splash page at our conference booths is super simple (often in under 15 minutes). This is important when setting up in a hurry. It's best feature is the direct pull into HubSpot- which makes it so we do not have to manual transfer contacts and that our sales team can get warm leads in real time. What do you dislike about Beambox?

The system's utility decreases after the first capture. The out-of-the-box marketing automation is enough to get you by, but it's not advanced, things like segmentation are basic and the email editor doesn't allow us to fully realize dynamic content that our marketing team would want. As such, we use Beambox solely as a means of capture at this stage and all significant engagement campaigns need to be handed over to our main marketing automation platform. An API integration between the two could make Add To Any even more valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bridging the Gap Between Physical Space and Digital Marketing"
5/5
What do you like best about Beambox?

The fit with our marketing tech stack was great. Integration with our CRM and ad platforms seemed to come seamlessly, not as an append-only solution. How easy it is for our campaign managers creating a segment specific email flow for attendees, what would take them and email developer hours can now be done in minutes. Installation was a breeze and had fantastic instructions for our IT professional. We rely on it heavily to credit offline activity with an online conversion. Dozens of features are marketer-friendly each tool has its place in the attribution funnel. Your customer support knows about marketing use cases not just technical ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beambox?

It also doesn't have quite the depth of analytics we crave - there are some fancy in-app analytics but our data team is fussy (but lovely). We frequently export raw data to be analyzed in other venues. As a data capture platform, the ability to create custom data points or forms on the login portal is sort of limited and doesn't allow for more nuanced lead qualification at point of capture. "A strategic link between the physical and digital worlds."
5/5
What do you like best about Beambox?

Aside from making the world a better, fairer place (a topic for another time), as a marketing leader Beambox enables me to quantify the connection between offline activity and our digital funnel where there is often nothing more than guesswork. The simplicity for my team to run a targeted captive portal campaign is great. Adoption went better than expected for a cloud solution! The level of support provided by our onboarding specialists was forward-thinking. “This is something we are using week in and week out to guide how our campaigns think.” There's a good number of features, especially the UTM parameter tracking and audience segmentating is strong for a WiFi platform. It was so easy to integrate with our main marketing stack that it sealed the deal for us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beambox?

We do have native dashboard analytics which look clean, but if I want to really drill in and start correlating with other campaign data, then they need to be exported into our BI tools - one more step that we like to work hard to avoid. I'd expect to see some more 'inside-out predictive' or AI-driven insights (e.g. optimal time for engagement, audience segment suggestions) baked into the premium tiers on a platform that is predicated on data capture. The first integration, even though technically smooth, needed internal convergence with the networking, legal (privacy) and marketing teams to establish our rules around how we were going to use their data. "Streamlines Guest WiFi & Marketing for Hospitality Groups And Large Chain Hotels"
5/5
What do you like best about Beambox?

Operationally, the convenience of controlling hotels across the portfolio from one dashboard is a huge plus. Ease of setup for our normal guest wifi was easy. Customer service was great while we set up for our banquet and lobby areas. We deploy it daily across F&B (food and beverage) outlets. The fact that you can choose from customized splash pages for different locations (pool, restaurant, lobby) fits that flexibility bill. It was also the ease of integration with other key platforms that won me over to corporate IT approval. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beambox?

Then there's the reporting features, which are great for creating sales conversions however at the operational level they just don't cut it. For example, knowing how many unique guests used our restaurant versus bar vs conference WiFi to plan capacity isn't exactly intuitive. It does integrate strong with the top CRMs, but getting a highly custom two way sync between our PMS and obtaining room number data in real time from guest information was also heavily heavy development wise. "A New Paradigm for High Volume Guest Engagement and Marketing"
5/5
What do you like best about Beambox?

With high-energy environments like ours, usability for both our staff and guests are paramount. Beambox nails this with a super fast, one-tap social login that doesn’t leave bottlenecks at the door. Being able to administer from a central panel is great when managing several locations! Although we went 'multi-venue' in the beginning, customer support has been proactive. We rely on it nonstop each guest connection is a potential one. The amount of features such as auto-welcome SMS and capturing emails etc all worked without issue at our scale. Integration with our core marketing stack is very easy, and so it was strongly considered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beambox?

The reporting suite is decent but for a company of our size, it could probably be a little more enterprise level. We also are interested in exploring deeper analytics that can link campaign data to real point of sale (POS) revenue by location, or daypart. Core integration is great, but developing specialized, two-way datapipes with our proprietary operational systems required more of our in-house tech resources than we had hoped. "Connects Our In-Store Experience Directly to Our Digital Marketing"
5/5
What do you like best about Beambox?

Very user friendly. My non technical store team can access dailies, sign ups and push out promotions thru the easy to use dashboard. The application was easy enough to implement, we were deployed on our branded login page within a week. Customer support was responsive when we wanted assistance connecting our particular router. It's our #1 tool for building lists. Everything the number of features in this platform, especially automated welcome emails and review requests is amazing. And it was a heavy consideration that we could very easily integrate into our large systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beambox?

Though the main functionality is strong, I’d like to see more direct sales attribution in the reporting. Seeing that a later-logged-in customer who made an online purchase is the same shopper requires cross-referencing of information. More prebuilt segments (ie “Menswear Browser,” “Accessory Shopper”) based on visit data would also help tailor follow-ups for a fashion retailer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Tool for Client Site Management and Customer Engagement"
5/5
What do you like best about Beambox?

As the Director of Sales, National Accounts of deploying and managing our client facing tech, I love how robust Beambox hardware is. The routers are rock solid, and once you set them up they pretty much just work. For our agency, we place these at client retail locations. And the greatest part is a centralized dashboard- I can look at an overview of all client access points, see the status of them from our office (I have rebooted remotely when necessary) and also push new splash pages without having to visit each location. It had saved us hours and hours on average maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beambox?

The initial per-location installation is quite time consuming for my Technician Team, particularly if a client’s internet structure is already in a state of disrepair. The hardware is solid, but mount selection isn't the greatest so clean installations in certain places will take a little creativity. Also, the reporting is awesome for us as clients, but I could use more detailed backend diagnostic tools in my role. I also occasionally have to reach out to support in order to receive more technical logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sociable Beambox Sales Team That Truly Understands Us"

What do you like best about Beambox?

The Beambox sales team are very sociable. It is the main point that I liked about this company the most because you need a company who can understand you properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beambox?

The report is plain. It would be great if the data of locations were flexible enough to explore essential items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Guest WiFi Login with Helpful Visitor Activity Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Beambox?

It is very easy to provide WiFi to guests. It is also easy to login. I like the fact we are also able to see the basic activity of a visitor that lets us know the busy hours at the café. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beambox?

Some reports are quite basic. It would be great to have something that gives more information regarding customer behaviour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to use and help turn guest WiFi into valuable marketing data. Visitor behaviour data is clearly visible on the dashboard that helps in campaign planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beambox?

The report requires further detailed description were possible. Specifically, cross-location performance over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
