What do you like best about Beagle Security?

The report and the insights given are very powerful. Everything is intuitive and easy to use on the UI side. The reports are well explained and can help you solve the problems ASAP. I have monitored the site while it was being tested and I could see in real-time the impact it was having, my security system is triggered and I can see that it is working as advertised. What do you dislike about Beagle Security?

Not much to dislike. Perhaps the long wait time for the scans to finish but that is understandable given the large number of tests performed. Now that I performed a few tests I can see why they are so powerful, however, we being an agency and working with customers, even though they offer a branding option there is no white-label version of the reports which might be a problem for some but for us we can live with it given how professional-looking they are and our logo showing up there on the first page anyway. I am scanning my sites and a few of my client sites for security holes to ensure top-level service for our end-users.

I am configuring Beagle Security on your websites to be proactive in protecting against attacks. It's so easy and intuitive that you don't need a technical background to monitor the site 24/7 for security breaches or vulnerabilities, thus ensuring that any issues are fixed ASAP. What do you like best about Beagle Security?

Their app goes very deep into every part of your site, revealing hidden vulnerabilities that I never knew existed, even when I'm using the already recommended security stack for my WordPress site. This allows me to implement better security which in turn, allows me to do so for my own clients, can't see a better way to harden your site than this! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If there is anything they could improve, I'd suggest the team to come up with a way to either allow to perform remidial tests or a way to reduce the scope of tests according to our flagged issues without consuming our already limited credits so we can patch vulneribilities quicker with better assurance. Beagle Security helps me identify issues before an actual attack occurs, this is completely different than having security modules set up because when an attack happens, its already too late. This helps me to reduce chances of attacks, which saves my time mitigating post hacked issue. "Security Testing for your Apps from an Experienced Team at a Reasonable cost"

What do you like best about Beagle Security?

The Exhaustive report that comes from Beagle Security is big pus.

After using their services, we are now very confident about the security of the web applications we have built.

Support is very responsive.

I tested one of my web applications, the application did an exhaustive test that ran for nearly 30 hours, and then I got a 21 pages report. I shared the same with my customer, and they appreciated the professionalism in the information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beagle Security?

White labeled reports are not part of the subscription and have to be paid for separately.

Whenever you test the application, it generically says it would take 3 days to complete the testing. But many a time, it is much lesser than that for my applications, some even a few hours. This estimate can be made better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Beagle Security?

I like the deep inspection of my website. It goes beyond malware scans and surface analysis. I can now lock down my site and have peace of mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beagle Security?

It takes 24+ hours to complete the scan. I wish it was faster but understand that it needs to take the time to get deep into the structure and find vulnerabilities. Beagle does a good job describing and ranking the weak points of my site... and suggestions how to fix it. But, it does get a little technical and over my head. Over the years I've had a few sites hacked - both my own and also client sites. It isn't fun. So now, I'm a security fanatic. Multiple offsite backups, site scans, security plugins, etc.. What do you like best about Beagle Security?

Overall the testing environment is very easy to set up, there is a nice look and feel to the interface and you are not overwhelmed by unneccessary distractions. Once you. are linked to your website app the tests start running and you can just leave it to run on it's own. The test for one webite app can take 3 days, in our case the first test was just 11 hours and the results were delivered in a clean and concise manor, it's easy to rexsolve any issues with the built in help files so you can be ready for a re-test quickly. What do you dislike about Beagle Security?

So far I haven't found anything I dislike but I do feel the recording of the log in process could be better placesd as you either have to abaondon your project setup or set it up later as you need some information from your account settings to make it work. "DIY security testing made easy"

What do you like best about Beagle Security?

Security testing can be costly and challenging. If hiring someone you may not know what they actually test and reports may not be very detailed. Beagle makes this process very easy to the point that it's do-it-yourself. Just authorize the testing, schedule, and let it go. One other thing to note is that you have to go through a quick domain verification process (which is great so a competitor cannot hit your system with resource-intensive testing). It's quick and easy. Also, the actual testing process is clear and automated. It takes several hours to a few days to complete. Beagle's report is detailed and identifies security vulnerabilities as critical, high, medium, low, or very low which is helpful for prioritizing security fixes and upgrades. What do you dislike about Beagle Security?

Not really a problem - though it's probably good to note that Beagle Security is a young company. That being said, they seem to be very innovative and adding features and improving things at a rapid pace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's great to have a high degree of confidence that the security measures in place are adequate. The option of actually performing penetration testing and a getting a report on what still may need to be addressed is very helpful. Sharing third-party results as an easy-to-understand score with a client is very valuable since they don't have to take my word for the security of their website. In short, the peace of mind in knowing that something security-related was not overlooked is very reassuring to me. What do you like best about Beagle Security?

Beagle Security is platform-agnostic, so it's a great tool to test multiple websites and apps that use different stacks. We have several websites/apps that we need to test including WordPress, WooCommerce, WHMCS, Django, and Laravel-based apps. They also offer sharable results, so you can share results with anyone you need. Plus, all test results are manually reviewed to ensure final results are of high quality. Overall, Beagle Security is a solid platform. One thing that's annoying, but necessary, is the time-consuming nature of the tests. They can take anywhere from a few hours to several days. But it's worth the wait. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Beagle Security is our first automated pen-testing tool, and it's already showing its value. We've caught some security issues like server-side vulnerabilities that we didn't know about. The nice thing is, even if we run a test on one app/website the results can be applied to other websites to see if they also have the same security issues. What do you dislike about Beagle Security?

Scans take long and can be taxing on the server. Also, you can't re-scan for specific vulnerabilities after taking mitigation steps; you need to repeat the entire scan, which can take up to 3 days to complete.

Although suggestions are provided, they aren't as comprehensive and someone inexperienced may have a hard time finding how to go about things. Also, it's not entirely clear how the final security score is calculated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For someone who is self-hosting without being a professional web developer or IT administrator, the insights provided by Beaglesecurity make a striking difference. I can maintain an objectively secure website without breaking my budget. "If security is your concern, Beagle is Must Have!"

What do you like best about Beagle Security?

This security tool is a must, especially with the growing number of sites getting hack and going down as a result. Studies show many smaller sites are falling victim to spam and bots with malicious intent and having a tool like Beagle Security can help websites take measures to better protect themselves online.
