Been using BBEdit almost 20 years. Ease of use, color coding on the code, where you can collapse blocks of code based on brackets, the elegant interface. The built in FTP client. It works on Mac. There are other editors available, however, this one is an old favorite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Only thing I don't like about BBEdit is the lack of where the editor guesses what you are trying to write in the code, and completes the brackets. They had changed the palettes over the years and I liked them better when they were more straightforward (at least to me) in providing quick access to common tags.
