Since 2006 BatchGeo has hosted millions of maps for Fortune 50 companies, non-profits, and individuals. The idea behind BatchGeo is most geographic data is stored in some sort of spreadsheet, list, or simple table (ex: Excel, CSV, Google Spreadsheets, etc.) So its optimized for those formats, making it super easy to drag in or copy/paste your tabular data into a map. Once your data is mapped the real fun begins. Your data points are spread out on an easy to navigate Google Map. Data can be color coded by groups or ranges, or even heat mapped. If routing is what you are interested in, BatchGeo can give you optimized routes for up to 23 points at a time. This ensures you don't waste time when visiting your customers. Finally, if you want to share your map it's easy to do. You can choose if your map is to be secured (password protected) or generally available to the public. Easy to edit maps and get an instant view of the effect of changes to data on the map. **What do you dislike about BatchGeo?** It is somewhat difficult to use with rural properties that do not have proper civic address coding. This is to be expected, and is not really BatchGeo's fault though. To overcome it, if you provide Lat/Lon GPS coordinates it can then map those properties so it does still work that way. **What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Viewing a map of properties (farmland especially, for valuation) is how I use it most to see the relative locations of each parcel. I also sometimes need to drive by a number of properties and need to plot them on a map so I know where they all are. It definitely helps me visualize the data. ### 7. We had over 9000 meters in our town to locate and change out, batch geo made the import of those addresses and coordinates of the meters sooo much easier. Prior to my trips, I map out where I’m supposed to go. That way, I have an itinerary immediately when I get there. You can also add more than just an address to the map location. It's great how easy BatchGeo works on smart phones as well, makes it simple with always being on the road. **What do you dislike about BatchGeo?** Unfortunately over time the maps will expire.
