## About BatchGeo
BatchGeo is the easiest way to get your list of addresses on a map. Since 2006 BatchGeo has hosted millions of maps for Fortune 50 companies, non-profits, and individuals. The idea behind BatchGeo is most geographic data is stored in some sort of spreadsheet, list, or simple table (ex: Excel, CSV, Google Spreadsheets, etc.) So its optimized for those formats, making it super easy to drag in or copy/paste your tabular data into a map. Once your data is mapped the real fun begins. Your data points are spread out on an easy to navigate Google Map. Data can be color coded by groups or ranges, or even heat mapped. If routing is what you are interested in, BatchGeo can give you optimized routes for up to 23 points at a time. This ensures you don't waste time when visiting your customers. Finally, if you want to share your map it's easy to do. You can choose if your map is to be secured (password protected) or generally available to the public. BatchGeo can even be used for a store locator for your website.

## BatchGeo Reviews
 ### 1. Quick and easy use for a mapping product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liam B. | Sales Account Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Very easy to map up and color code a variety of locations - perfect for comparing proximity, volume of locations, etc. Love that the maps can be sent or embedded/integrated into multiple touch points to share information and the variety of formatting makes it perfect for what i do

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

don't love that they limit/cap the number of locations that can have named markers (ex: if you have more than 26 locations, you can't use alphabetical markers). Also don't love that it caps how often i can use it per month, the frequency at which i require it is much more than it lists. would love it if they also included a radius feature.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

this provides a great high level overview capability of mapping out locations, pointing out proximity, and differentiating the locations while also recording/displaying data points about specific locations. the sharing capabilities are extremely helpful and the formatting/set up is very intuitive.

 ### 2. Good product could use some updates

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like that I can upload and download and excel file to create my maps. This makes things very easy for editing and review purposes.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I would like the ability to draw boundaries of some kind that would then let me turn the plot points on one side one color and the other side another color. This helps when we are looking to divide the plots on a map in territories. Currently I have to do this manually by searching my excel sheet and making manual changes.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Batchgeo is good for our mapping purposes and to help us in seeing our member populations. I have used this to create maps in many parts of the US and I have found no issues.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving how to divide populations of individuals among my field employees and also looking at the disbursement of our individuals. This is helping us to visually see our needs and member base. Also this is benefiting our employees by having them able to visually see their populations. I do like and find helpful that the address links to google maps for easy direction guidance.

 ### 3. Great for traveling businesspeople!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Being able to look at all of my accounts at once and plan my trips efficiently. I like to see where all of my accounts that I visit monthly are and plan my days and weeks accordingly.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Being able to have estimated drive times between two or more points would be a huge improvement. Currently I have to open up google maps which Batch Geo does make convenient with 1 click but it could be streamlined more by integrating drive times into the system.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have not encountered any problems yet.

 ### 4. Stellar Mapping Service Until they removed features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2020

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Functionality that still after YEARS Google Maps has yet to implement. Ability to map tens of thousands of data points and layer exponentially.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

iOS app was glitchy. UI could use a refresh.

UPDATE: They stopped emailing receipts and now make you dig through their menus to find them. For those of use needed to expense receipts, this takes something that was streamlined and simple and makes it unnecessarily cumbersome and time-consuming. Why are we regressing on features?

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mapping out our clients to organize business site visit trips effectively.

 ### 5. Good quick mapping tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabelle W. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Easy to map and settings are straightforward. We used the free version for a while until we needed to map more comps and now subscribe.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Only thing I dislike is a few missing features. I wish we could overlay maps. I'd like the columns in table view to be lined up, and I'd like to be able to export the data in the table view (like distance from the first row).

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's our go-to mapping software as a team. We can easily map out locations and see which properties could be competitors. Free version is enough for 90% of the team members, and then some subscribe to map more data.

 ### 6. Great way to map operational geo data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2022

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Easy UI for uploading data points and ability to create maps

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Wished there was an easier way to manipulate data once it’s uploaded

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using it to map out delivery routes for our parcel delivery drivers

 ### 7. easy to upload addresses from excel

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo competes well with Google My Maps. It is relatively simple to create a map, and maps are completed very quickly. The click and drag option is much quicker than traditionally uploading an excel spreadsheet. It is also very easy to share a map after you have created it.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The least helpful thing about BatchGeo is searchability. I want to be able to search for an address using any data. The map is sometimes slow loading. Great tool for basic map creating but not for customizing routes from address to address within the map.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

I recommend having good information in the excel spreadsheet that you will be used to create a map.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have employees and offices all across the country. BatchGeo has given me a mapping tool to connect the two. It's a great tool for scheduling people across the country by seeing who is the closest to each of our locations.

 ### 8. Easy & Simple tool for mapping out Data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

We needed to use BatchGeo to map out a collection of data geographically based on a map; this was so we could share the data in an easy & simple to read format. The feature allowing it to accept a simple Excel spreadsheet to add this data was extremely useful because we already had the data available in Excel, making it a simple addition. The map even detects locations and pin-points them on a map. Ultimately BatchGeo served the purpose that we needed it. We found it easy to use and helpful for visualizing data, almost like a business intelligence dashboard but easier to use.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

There were some things we felt could have been improved. There isn't any way to order or filter data. We would have liked it if we were able to select to show only some rows of data on the map, for example, showing locations on the Map for a particular city or if the row matched a specific keyword. If this feature had existed, it would have made the experience better for people we shared the map with as it's something they requested to make things easier.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to visualize a list of locations on a map because it was helpful for some other members of staff we view it in this way. The sites were initially shown on an Excel Spreadsheet, which meant for some areas, manually going onto Google Maps and searching the place. The process proved rather convoluting. The benefits we have realized with this allowed us to see the site and have a general idea of that entry.

 ### 9. Easily locate store information

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tina L. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The Search function of Batch Geo makes it easy to quickly pull up the information you are looking for without having to click into the location

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

You have to refresh the entire webpage between every 2 or 3 searches or your information will not populate correctly.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do not have a company phone directory so we can list all employees and their extensions in Batch Geo.

 ### 10. Very usefull to be available to display prospects in a map

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago F. | Business Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

the app is easy to use, functional, allows to display most of the data in the map. Graphically is well done. I can analyze the routes to make my trips for visiting prospects more effective, not wasting time and lowering fuel costs.
i also like to have the info with me when i travel, can see it in a notebook for example.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

some addresses are not displayed, but not sure if the program fails, or not enought data for the app to understand. But most of the addresses i uploadede were acknowledged by the system.
no other comments that i dislike to mention here.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

if you need to optimize trips for visiting customers for example, or need to look where your clients are, for designing marketing events, etc, is a great tool to use.

before i use to mark on a map in the wall the info, now i use this kind of software, that can be seen online anywhere

fast to load info, precise, and easy to look at the info.

the web page is well designed, easily you can understand how to use it, where you should load the info, how to save and zoom in and out the maps.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

to organize a trip to visit prospects, allows to save time, as i mentioned above it allows me to save time on trips, be on time to visits and reduce fuel and hotel costs reducing days of visits.

 ### 11. Great tool for visualizing map data!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony J. | Director of Revenue Enablement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I've used BatchGeo to visualize map data and have always found it easy to use.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Can't think of anything - my needs have always been met.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used to map zipcodes of click-throughs to ads + map various location lists for other projects. It has been easy to create and share the maps, saving me time and hassle.

 ### 12. A great service, but it has it's limits.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff R. | Director of Advancement Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I really like that you could create maps with lots of information that can be organized and filtered and then shared. I liked how I could give them lots of fields and be able to have that information on each pin and that I could group pins and turn groups on and off so I could find drill down to the specific information that I needed or that my representatives could get to.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I found the limits on the free version to be too much for me. I had to keep breaking up my maps and that became cumbersome. I also did not like that sometimes I had to reinput the data and start back over after customizing so much. This may have been a feature in the paid version, but I didn't explore that. I found that Google Maps has a way to get more information into it. I think the limit is 2000.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

If you have a smaller number and you don't feel up to submitting things to Google Maps, this is a good option for you. I like that the maps expire so your information is not really just always available. Be sure that your data is organized the way you need it before copy and paste. You also need to think about your grouping of data and make sure the data there is discreet so you can group them better.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to provide snapshots of information about where people were located across a large geographical area. This helped me realize that we need to use maps more and more to visualize where people are so we can better cluster our efforts.

 ### 13. Time saver!!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole L. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I am able to upload all properties with their associated property manager and view the distance/locations instantly!

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

manipulating the data isnt intuitive - i had to reupload a few times to get the desired info to display

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we have a lot of properties under management and previously didnt have efficiency in our routes for notice delivery, property walks, etc. Batch Geo gives us a good map of where the properties are so we can maximize the use of our time in the field.

 ### 14. Handy and Easy-to-Use Visualization Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim L. | Professor of Economics, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

First off, the tool is easy to use with nearly no glitches. It is a breeze to upload data, and the site can handle geolocational data points with accuracy. It also has different features. Of course, it's all free to use.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The limit on the number of data points for the free version is a small drawback.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

No skills needed to use this handy tool.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualization of business data on maps is very helpful to economic development agencies and community stakeholders.

 ### 15. Easy to Use and Helpful for Data Mapping

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The input interface and auto-sorting is very easy-to-use and relatively failsafe. On the occasion that something does not come through correctly or is sorted improperly by the software, there are easy to use toggles that allow you to make corrections.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

For free accounts, maps expire after a certain amount of time, which can be a bad look if you're client-facing. This problem does not exist for the paid accounts. If I could improve on one thing, it would be more graphic/visual options that would allow one to polish up the look and feel of the maps a bit more.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in the real estate industry and a large part of our job is providing data to large real estate investors and financial institutions. Because real estate is geographical in nature, we found ourselves wanting to show our data not just in a table or spreadsheet, but on a map. Batchgeo is the perfect solution for this, allowing us to show pertinent and real-time data as it actually exists out in the real world.

 ### 16. Easy to Use Mapping Service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo made the mapping process extremely easy to use! With copy and paste from Excel or just uploading a document, it was a BREEZE!

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

There aren't many things I disliked about this service. Downloading maps was tricky at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was a very easy to understand process.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

We tried several other mapping services before landing on BatchGeo. This is by far the easiest to use and the most helpful when you need to create maps.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BatchGeo allowed my company to display locations of several hospital facilities in one area with an easy to read to map and legend. This saves time and money when needing to create visuals for clients quickly.

 ### 17. Great product to organize geospatial projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

On a basic level, it is user friendly and very simple. It is a great start for our projects. We have utilized this as a preliminary software program to organize our strategy and to do initial mapping for complex development projects. We share this information internally amongst our team members, go back and forth to continue an iterative process, and then move further with analysis. We can go back to utilize our created maps for cross referencing.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

It is just a base system, but there should be more exporting formats and additional user settings for components including views, analysis, and so on may be helpful. I believe there can be better visual aids and editing for easier readability. Geobatch can have more customization for "data view" and "cluster view". I am not sure, but maybe these graphs can be individually exported for presentations, too. I am confident there can be better integration with other applications and software (including GIS, photoshop, adobe illustrator, adobe indesign) and format compatibilities (.csv, .ai, shapefile, geoTIFF, .pdf., jpg, .png, etc.).

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Look at this as a way for preliminary and base level beginnings for complex projects. Otherwise, it is a great way to do simple geospatial tasks.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our projects are private but we are helping to improve community assets in underserved communities and identifying various real estate opportunities. We will identify different assets for a particular need and see how many are within an area, identify what is missing, or see where there are opportunities for improvement. Another example is we can start initial mapping for potential properties or potential development in an area. This provides a bird's eye view to observe the lay of the land.

 ### 18. Useful tool with few needed updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like the price for the mebership; I like having that amount of info at my disposal in regards to any property. I like being able to create lists, and I like that, for the most part, the majority of ALL accessible info for any property is readily available for nearly ANY plot/property! Being able to add photos directly to a property address is handy, so long as the core app works the way it should!!!

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

UI is sexy but hard to learn
App/property location was inaccurate on mobile, but nearlty 100% correct when accessing BD from a PC.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing market inventory, Locating homeowners/info and enabling one direct line of communication.

 ### 19. Excellent tool for mapping and routing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like how easy it is to map out every single location I need to visit each month and I can keep making new maps to consolidate everything and keep track of pins I've already visited. Makes it easy for me to close out each month/quarter

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Batch geo makes everything easy for me to use so nothing that I really dislike

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Look no further if you need help mapping out locations that need to be visited within a certain time phrame.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Routing and making sure i don't miss any offices I need to visit in order to close out my cycle plan.

 ### 20. Great for the road warrior

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

With BatchGeo, I can plan my day for greater efficiency. No more heading out aimlessly without clear direction on where my customer locations were. It is an excellent tool for the individual on the go. The ability to name the sites within a spreadsheet of addresses helps quickly prioritize the locations you would like to get to by day's end. No more struggling with looking up a customer based on address.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Directions may be difficult within the app

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick access to maps that help me plan my day accordingly. No more guesswork on the path that I will choose to get to each customer location.

 ### 21. Program for milk runs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Able to import addresses from a spreadsheet directly into the Batch Geo program, enables quick setup, and creating a map of all required sites.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Challenging to display detail when you have many sites close together and remote locations across the state.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning and efficiencies make good business sense; BatchGeo enables easy planning to visit the most locations in a single day and via the shortest possible routes.

 ### 22. Easy to use and fast loading.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

They are quick on making the map and decipher my spreadsheets to get the most accurate depiction of the data.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I don't like the autozoom in and out on some maps if I want the big picture.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to show clients exactly where their hires come from on a map and help decipher new hiring locations and areas they can work on.

 ### 23. Pretty Solid Tool for Lead Mapping

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The ease of uploading my data with drag and drop was great. Much easier than uploading to Google Maps.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The price is pretty high for something I can do with Google maps. The process is more straightforward with BatchGeo, but I'm not sure if having fewer clicks in the upload process is worth $99 per month.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I sell dealership territories. Knowing where my leads are located allows me to focus my sales efforts on qualified leads in available territories rather than using my time to manually search each lead and compare it to territories already sold.

 ### 24. Great for quick work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen S. | Senior Associate / Team Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The ease and quickness of getting a map when needed in the snap of time

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Customized zooming in to encompass all properties in a certain size would be nice, but that's all I can think of

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mapping a tour order for clients, which at times can change in a moments notice, and batchgeo helps with the quickness of a turnaround

 ### 25. Hands-on content mapping

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariana D. | C, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The service is very easy to use, and provides sufficient variety of instruments to build different content maps.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

It is a bit hard to figure out what features are available and how to use them

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We write sectoral analyses of industry sectors, IndustryInform (http://www.IndustryInform.com) and we use batchGeo to map different aspects of each industry sector

 ### 26. Useful to visualize client data

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I wish it were easier to export different map views.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are learning how far our clients live from our locations and can plan marketing efforts as well as expansion efforts.

 ### 27. Usefull but not all the time!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gustavo D. | Sales executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Easy to use, fast and reliable. It helped me visualize all my customers and my leads geographically.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Most of the use is one time only, you visualize the map, and that's it.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using it to draw, on a map, a sheet of customers and leads, and from that, form strategies.

 ### 28. Good experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mustafa N. | Startup advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The flexibility of updating maps and reflecting new updates on the maps directly

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

UI needs some improvements and the fact that you lose access to the account once you stop the subscription. I suggest keeping accounts active even without a subscription

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interactive maps that have multiple data points

 ### 29. Great tool to map sites

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**Reviewed by:** Ryan L. | Contracts Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

That maps can be made in minutes simply by copying and pasting vast amounts of data from microsoft excell

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Could be better by allowing personalised labels to appear on the map with out having to click on each map point.

I use the software for plotting surface dressing sites throughout the country, by allowing reference numbers would make planning a lot easier and quicker without having to click on each and every point

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Ensure all your excel sheets are correctly sorted before you make a map!

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to programme highways works easily and instantly

 ### 31. Great mapping app with lots of free features

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Easy to use for people like me who aren't full time GISers but who need to make a map occasionally

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

It's a bit clunky. It's not easy to save maps as a png.

 ### 32. Simple, yet Powerful tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Netalia S. | Graphic Designer, Restaurants, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I love how quickly and easily I am able to create maps, even with very minimal information. The interface is easy to use and and I can quickly paste data in without extensive formatting.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I wish BatchGeo better handled blank fields, not sure how one would get around that.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I create a lot of maps in Adobe Illustrator and I often struggle at the beginning of a project to figure out how much map area to include. BatchGeo allows me to quickly determine how far out I need to go to include all of my data points. It has been such a huge time saver since I don't have to play guessing games. Previously, I sometimes had to recreate maps midway through a project because I underestimated how much area I needed to include.

 ### 33. Great to map data and make heatmaps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Heatmap and Clustering possibilities. Ease of use.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Would love to be able to add directions (routes) on top of the heatmap

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Route mapping for corporate shuttles. Easy to view clusters of people to make the most efficient routes

 ### 34. Quick and easy visualize coordinates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I enjoy how quick and easy it is to visualize the GPS coordinates I am using in my research. The platform is so simple--just copy and paste your data.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Basemap for online mapping is too simple--would like options for satellite imagery

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to convert my raw GPS coordinates to a Google Earth kml for my environmental research. BatchGeo was the quickest and most intuitive platform that I could find online.

 ### 35. Older program that offers better features than the newer options out there

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** RoseMary S. | M, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The map is very customizable and the data import is super fast and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The google street view photos aren't helpful and often show the wrong location for places, it's not a necessary feature.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Get your data set organized first and it will be a breeze.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wish there was a more advanced way to integrate it into the Shopify platform. It's a super easy way to maintain our dealer locator, love the clean look of the maps as well.

 ### 36. BatchGeo has helped us in a wide array of ways

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2020

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo has helped us on programs that are multi site and quick hit to give geographic perspective. Easy to use interface is nice and makes the process streamlined.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I wish there was a way to route sites or put them in an order that made sense on the map that could be down loaded into a list form. If you could put in a start point and the program could provide you a stop by stop routing

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Depending on your specific need, BatchGeo is a resource that can be utilized in various capacities to improve certain efficiencies within your company.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficieny. Speed of planning in benefitted. Quickly being able to assess our organizations ability for coverage.

 ### 37. Convenient for my uses

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor P. | Director of Search Engine Optimization, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I just like how it is not a noisy platform, everything works as it should.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

I don't like how it is missing more customizable options for it. I would love to see more options for those that are embedding the thing into a different page.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have started to organize my files way better with Batchgeo because I can now visually display progress on locations added to new projects.

 ### 38. Great for Visualizing Multiple Locations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like being able to quickly plot multiple locations to see the locations of hotels relative to other ones I manage

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Make sure to follow their spreadsheet guidance before uploading initially to reduce frustration

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been learning markets and use BatchGeo to help me learn visually.

 ### 39. BatchGeo Is Straightforward & Easy to Use; You'll Love It!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The best part of BatchGeo is the ease at which one can create a map; simply by inputting data into the text box. It is also and user intuitive, which makes creating maps more meaningful. One specific upside of using BatchGeo is its quickness; maps can be created in mere seconds, which is beneficial for assignments or projects with tight and approaching deadlines. I would certainly recommend BatchGeo for your college geography/geology courses!

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The worst part of BatchGeo can (sometimes) be the exportation of the map that you made. Also, it can be difficult to understand the various workings of the programs without purchasing a subscription. As a full-time college student, a ninety-nine dollar per month subscription is unaffordable; so, a student subscription at a significantly lower rate is something that I would like to see. If it was something that I could afford, I would certainly be a user of the product and create many more maps with my own data.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using BatchGeo, I created maps with provided data for a college geology course; both the program and class showed me new ways of mapping data. Specifically, I have changed the way in which I consider traveling; I can now, as I have learned to, look at quicker and more efficient routes of travel. In my geology course, I examined travel routes in the county that Binghamton University is located in, and to my surprise, the best route -- defined by your own parameters -- is not always obvious.

 ### 40. Batch Geo, good for what it does

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Logan C. | Senior Operations Manager, Automations Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The visualization is really nice, and the ease of putting the maps where we need them is great. Being able to click in and few further information easily allows us to share more in-depth info along with the mapping.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

There is no api. We want to create a system where we can auto-update our maps, but unfortunately, we can't do this because of the lack of api

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of visualizing data. We don't have to create a custom solution to create the data map visualization we want.

 ### 41. The fastest way to get from spreadsheet to map

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amith K. | Software Engineer (SDE2) - Innovation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2020

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Highly customizable, including options to change marker colors, shapes as well as map themes. All this is available in an easy to use web interface. Geocoding is quick. Geocoding is quick

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

No demos for Route Optimization in the evaluation. Could use a free plan which would let users manage maps that they've created without having to generate new links. Recommend having the ability to import KML files in order to edit them. Integrations with other map providers would also have benn a plus

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

If it fits your price, go ahead and use it as it would definitely be a great choice with a easy to grasp interface, and helps you quickly implement a geocoding solution without having to work too hard on integrating third party APIs. I did not want to use a paid solution for my use case as it was a side project.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly converting datasets to visualizations on maps that I can share. The process makes it very easy and quick to go from having a simple CSV to something that can be shared as a link. Can also be used to quickly generate marker maps that can be shared or embedded into your static website with the help of google maps.

 ### 42. A great tool for our customers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy T. | Owner of Managed Service Provider, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The ease of use and how quickly you can make changes. Not too expensive. Has always worked reliably well.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Editing map info should be a table by now. Ability to turn off and on map title or other things in embedded version and radial buttons to sort out unneeded data would be nice.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do wholesale so we're able to show the end customer where the nearest place is that they can purchase the product.

 ### 43. Good work tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The ability to organize all the tickets of a route or project on a map

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Some fields are difficult to capture with the correct data, but once configured correctly, it is resolved.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you have more than 500 locations to visit in a short period of time, it allows you to visualize it on the map and thus streamline routes, saving time and money.

 ### 44. Biking visiting nurse.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

I like that it helps me geographically plan my 25+ monthly nursing site visits by proximity by bike.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Doesn't always pull data properly from spreadsheet.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

It's great for me to see dozens of locations at the same tie, but I would like more bike-route interface capabilities

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Doesn't always pull data properly. It helps to see, which sites are close together so I can plan my nursing visits by bike.

 ### 45. BatchGeo is AMAZING!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Plotting data points on a map is so easy and seamless. I love the usability of this program.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Nothing comes to mind of anything that I dislike!

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Go with BatchGeo! I've put in the effort of researching and they are an amazing solution!

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to coordinate travel and see where my partners are at a glance

 ### 46. Convenient but needs some tweaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2020

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

The fact that the addresses can be stacked in geographical order saving time, space, gas and guess work when on deliveries

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

The map layout. Wish it was more user friendly and integrate with Waze app for shorter routes, toll avoidance & police activity

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Good for small delivery businesses. Track drivers progress

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes routing

 ### 47. Useful and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

It's extremely easy to add addresses and create a map. Exporting klm files are also easy to export. I also appreciate the ability to share our individual maps with other team members without specialized software. We can create a bunch of maps very quickly to answer different questions and provide a variety of data to stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

When addresses are not found, it is sometimes a mystery as to why, and takes some trial and error to find how to fix them.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many series of data that we visualize differently. Many of these include specific addresses that we map to demonstrate density. Batch Geo is the fastest way to create a map with location points, and the easiest way to share these maps.

 ### 48. Polished product UI with a few concerning gaps in the backend

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

It works. And I don't mean that snarky. It works good and so much better than Custom Google Maps.
Simple to learn and pick up usage.
Looks great
Leader in its space

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Expensive for A) what you get B) lack of development (or information on development-more on that) C) being based (at least that is our determination) on a open source product made closed and commercialized.
The inability to hop in and make a quick change to a single location was terrible for us. Having to manage a form, that we exported to a spreadsheet, to put in a different spreadsheet with a specific format and then copy and past that spreadsheet into a form on BatchGeo. It was just too much to make a single tiny change. And yes, thats the process...Every time
But the deal breaker for us was customer service. Took almost 2 months for us to change credit card on the auto-bill. We might have been a unique case, but that's not acceptable.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sadly, we were not able to continue with BatchGeo. We have 2,500 locations and make daily changes. It just wasn't in the cards for us. I still think of the options available in the space, they are the clear leaders.

 ### 49. Intuitive mapping tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

BatchGeo is very user friendly to setup. Being able to upload with a spreadsheet and then change location markers is great.

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

It could be a little easier to go in and modify entries - sometimes trying to edit or add a name/description in the text box is a bit unwieldy. A workaround is to just re-upload everything via a spreadsheet instead of trying to modify individually.

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Make sure you know how to use Excel and Google Maps well, this will save you a lot of time.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We initially used it as we needed a way to create routes to specific locations for package drop offs to our employees who were working remote. We needed a way to visualize where the homes were located. BatchGeo was helpful because I was able to optimize routes for our region and see that grouping simply by city or zip code wouldn't work. Sometimes an address the next town over was closer than an address in the same city.

 ### 50. Excellent service I now use daily

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor C. H. | Research Distinction Track Scholar, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about BatchGeo?**

Extremely user friendly and intuitive interface that far surpasses competitors. Makes using it a breeze

**What do you dislike about BatchGeo?**

Infrequent updates and difficulty getting my feature requests and feedback to the dev team

**Recommendations to others considering BatchGeo:**

Do your research and see what software best meets your needs.

**What problems is BatchGeo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is now my go to tool for geographically representing data in both my healthcare research projects and my personal needs
