Klario is software that helps SAP teams decide which business requests matter most and how to deliver them. It is built for VPs and Heads of SAP, and for the teams who shape what goes to build – CoE leads, architects and business analysts – in organizations where the business asks for more than the SAP team can deliver. Today, those decisions are often made in spreadsheets, steering meetings and SI-led workshops. Priority goes to whoever makes the strongest case, design knowledge sits with a few experts, and the reasoning behind a decision is hard to find when it is challenged later. Klario starts from your own SAP system and shows its reasoning, so the team makes the call on evidence. Business case and prioritization. Set out the value of each request, the cost of waiting and the business case, and gather input from the right stakeholders before build. Guided requirement design. Turn business asks into build-ready requirements, with expert AI agents in the conversation and transparent quality scoring across clarity, completeness, relevance, measurability and value. Clean core assessment. Evaluate a change against SAP best practice at the moment of decision, with options such as adopting standard, side-by-side extensibility or compliant refactoring, each with its reasoning. Legacy landscape analysis. Understand what custom and legacy code was built to do, at solution level, before deciding what to change. Feasibility profiling and planning. Surface effort, complexity and risk signals before build time is committed. Klario sets out the options and its reasoning, and the decision stays with your team. Outputs include technical user stories and reusable design artifacts. Klario integrates natively with SAP Cloud ALM, and Cloud ALM is not required to use it. Early adopters have seen 3x faster time to a build-ready design and 45% fewer defects. (Verified early adopter data; customer unattributed at their request.) Klario collects operational signals, not business data. Personal data is removed before it reaches the model, customer data is isolated, and Klario is GDPR compliant with EU data residency. Basis Technologies is ISO 27001 certified.
