Creating and assigning tasks is straightforward, i can add clear descriptions, owners and due dates without getting lost in configuration. The ability to set deadlines and milestones wither manually or based on templates helps me keep work predictable and aligned with my delivery goals. I also like how to-do lists are scoped per user. I really like Basecamp's clean interface; it's very easy to use, and I didn't have to look anything up to figure out how to use it. It's made working with people who aren't in the office a lot easier, especially when managing design projects where I can put files in there, alert team members, and replace files when projects get pushed. It significantly reduces the need for emails, which can get grouped and lost. I always use the message board, To-Dos and campfire features which keep conversations and action items structured without forcing me to jump across multiple tools. I appreciate the fact that how everything for a project lives in one place from files, docs, discussions to schedules so there is no switching apps just to find context. I also like that basecamp gives me custom views so i can organize projects the way that is apt for my workflow.
