The Decision Stream and Scheduler features are the ones I use every day and have the biggest impact for me and my executives. There are a couple of small tweaks that could improve it slightly, like integrating zoom as an add in and changing a couple of click options to make it slightly more user friendly in places but if those things never changed, I would still absolutely continue to use it everyday! I like using Base for the scheduling assistant and the question polls that I can send directly to my executives! The tasks bar is extremely helpful as well and helps me keep on top of my tasks! But, the platform overall is very user-friendly once you figure out what is behind each tab, etc. It takes some time to adjust to but is easy to grasp the concept! Being able to keep my tasks and to-do list virtual and not put them on a piece of paper and get lost somewhere (perks of working from home). Client Experience Coordinator Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) 11/16/2021 "A great tool for executive assistants to stay on top of things" 4.5/5 What do you like best about Base? The Daily Digest and Decision Stream features make it easy to stay in contact with the executive I work for as a virtual assistant. And the new Scheduler feature could end up being a game-changer for managing their calendar because it's a great way to track, hold (and then release) potential meeting times and dates. The ability to easily save tasks straight from Slack into Tasks on Base also is a huge time-saver. To top it all off, if you run into any issues, reaching out to their tech support always gets you a quick response and they are very attentive when it comes to trying to solve a problem and improve their product. It's still a young company and parts of the software are in beta, so there can be some weird actions and bugs that happen occasionally. But these tend to be short-lived and can often be addressed by simply clearing the cache, for which they provide super simple directions. Being able to send my executive a series of questions with pre-populated answers through Base's Decision Stream makes staying on top of decisions necessary to continue my work a piece of cake. It's fast and easy for me and my executive, which means it's efficient and effective! So I'm solving communication and task-management issues in multiple ways with Base.
