Ready at the start with SCOUT, the solution was very advanced and has continuously developed under Hatem's leadership with Barracuda in recent years - there is nothing to criticize. As an MSP, knowing that our Clients' Environment - across several layers - is protected by 24/7 SOC Services provides both our clients and our IT Team with an elevated level of comfort and security! The bad guys are pretty good at what they do. Barracuda XDR leverages both AI and a layered "human" approach to identifying and remediating malicious attacks.

Barracuda XDR is a GREAT resource for our IT Support Team, as we are able to leverage Barracuda's eyes and ears to sift through all notifications... ultimately, trimming down our "need to address" list significantly... While the service is excellent, the initial setup took some time to fine-tune for our specific needs. What do you dislike about Barracuda Managed XDR?

I would like to see more customizable options in the reporting department - would like to be able to see / investigate / analyze the actual data or alerts that are being generated. Creating and running customizable reports (the way that the backend engineers at Barracuda are able to) would be a great feature. Recommendations to others considering Barracuda Managed XDR:

I would let potential customers know that this platform is on the more expensive side, however it does offer the ability to customize you plan/protection. It is also quite involved / complicated on the initial setup if you are connecting multiple platforms / devices / infrastructures / networks / cloud environments - but once it is setup and working it provides immense coverage and the ability to have eyes everywhere within your entire environment. What problems is Barracuda Managed XDR solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are currently monitoring between 100-150 million events per month with XDR. The AI integration that is able to ingest the large amount of logs/data has been extremely helpful with keeping an eye on all security aspects of the company. I am currently managing all IT for a small firm (80-100 employees) and the instantaneous notifications helps me (in a department of 1) stay on top of any irregular activity; as well as taking immediate corrective action.
