What do you like best?

They have tried and tested methods to engage prospects and create leads that enable you to follow up on. Can get up and running with the process in a short timeframe. An easy to use and 'done for you' prospecting and lead generation process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It could have better integration with your CRM to automate recording of contacts and responses. It would also be good to have more transparency on the A/B tests in terms of what is working and what is not. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

The team is amazing, they are personal, always ready to help and carefully listen to requirements. The onboarding was quick and the platform is easy to use and navigate. There are up to date, clear metrics showing the success of each campaign, with full access to all information, from a target list to logs of messages sent and so on. We were sceptical at first whether it would be suitable for us due to being in the financial services sector, however, it has started many conversations and built a great base for future ones. What do you dislike?

We have a set of business size-specific criteria for leads, which is difficult to set due to the data points within the platform and source of that data. It would be great to see financial information available through the that. However, the team has been upfront and helped us understand where each piece of data comes from and we have been learning the ins and outs of it and making improvements to increase the quality of leads coming through. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

Ease of usage. Once you know what you are looking for, setting things up is easy. We had heard that Bant was kind of a shotgun approach, but all email campaigns are, until you focus on the target you are reaching out to.

We liked worked with them and we will be working again in the coming months. Our first 3 month campaign did result in numerous discussions with companies, which was the goal in the first place. Once we get meetings, the work of Bant is considered done (and a success).

Price was also good, when we compare other services out there, the price of getting contacts, having the tools in place, and everything ready is fully justified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Nothing in particular. Our target was very focused (specific titles in specific industries), so the number of potential contacts was obviously restricted. However, we still managed to find a few thousand contacts, which was by itself pretty impressive.

One thing I would caution people before they start: Make sure you take your time to target the right people. The filters, by default, can pull up anybody. It is one thing to have a filter that can reach out to people in company ABC, but if you want to talk to the CFO instead of the guy in charge of security at night, you better review the results of the filters. We initially made that mistake and it took us a few days to realize it. But once the corrections where made, things changed drastically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Test is out for 3 months minimum. It takes a few weeks for people to receive your first campaigns and start to engage. I would not recommend a one month test because there is no value in that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First problem is finding the right contact for the industry types we are looking for. Bant makes this easy, once you learn to tweak things with the filters.

The second problem would be the automation of the entire email process. While this can be done with any email marketing tool, we liked the feel of the Bant engine, it makes things run pretty smoothly.

What do you like best?

The benefits of bant lies with the automated sales outreach for your business, in particular the cold campaigns. If you're running more inbound campaigns with content marketing (like we do), bant is a welcome adjunct for leveraging a more direct approach while you continue to nurture your audience on platforms such as LinkedIn. What do you like best?

The first time our company is using 3rd party lead-generation services, and we're delighted to receive a more-than-expected number of enquiries. What do you like best?

Bant allows us to focus all online marketing into one easy to use portal. We had various different softwares and services previously, which lead to a difficult to manage and disparate collection of sales tools and lead gen platforms. Not a dislike but probably worth mentioning for those in the SME market: Bant is an opportunity creator/door opener. It's not about providing sales, you still need a team to do that. There was nothing really I needed to do in regards to set up the process.

The onboarding process was quick and results came in immediately

The only thing what comes into my mind is that the time they spend with you to interview you to search for the leads and prepare the messaging is so short that it gave me the feeling that this might not work. What do you like best?

Bant is professional and efficient. We'd been working on cracking the "email outreach" lead generation nut for months, and it felt like we were trying to play catchup in an industry that was way ahead of us. When we signed on with Bant, we immediately felt like we were playing in the big-leagues. What do you dislike?

It's hard to know what Bant is learning along the way and how they're tweaking the approach. Although I have a dashboard with high-level statistics, I don't have visibility into the A/B tests their running, what they're learning as a result, and how they're tweaking as they go. I did notice email copy shift over time, but I wasn't party to the decisions nor to the reasons why those decisions had been made. Bant is largely handling our outbound lead-generation efforts at this point. They do automated email and linkedIn outreach, and generate leads for us. We went from struggling to get 20 leads a month to regularly hitting close to 50. Bant.io is does require direct attention during the initial set up and for the first several months. Initially, you need to be involved in the content development to ensure that the language of the emails is reflective of your company and brand. One of the things that first struck me was the no-BS, realistic approach – we were pretty jaded after a recent experience with a different lead generation company and most companies we spoke to seem to over-promise without any real knowledge of our marketplace/industry. Bant were transparent about how their platform works and the learning curve required to find an effective approach – this, and the fact they came recommended by a long-term partner company – reassured us. No demo or trial period. Initially this seemed a bit suspicious – if their solution is so effective, why can’t they prove it works to us before we commit? – although once we had gone through set-up I understood the amount of work and time that goes into onboarding clients.
