This is my opinion as a graphic designer. Currently we use bannerflow to create our campaigns with a small team of 2 or 3 people. A creative person and two others managing the feeds and business matters. In general we're happy with Bannerflow overall. What I like best is that is much more easy to use comparing it to other HTML5 alternatives. I never got hold of Google Web Designer all the times I tried it. It was unreliable and difficult to use and understand. Using Bannerflow requieres some time to learn, but you can get simple things done from the beginning, and see the gains after some time of using it. The interface is easy to use and understand. Of course, the better knowledge you have, the better results you will get. Anyone can use it, but if smart and skilled people are at it, you'll achieve spectacular results. It's very easy to create online dynamic content that updates by itself, or even small videos or other content you can use elsewhere. There are countless effects and widgets to spice up your creativities. You cannot replicate these using Photoshop. Also you can develop your own, or even request anything that is not available. But there are a lot of options. Changes can be easily done on the fly, and you can make versions and organize your work in the platform. To me, one of the best features is the language management. Once you have completed a banner set, you can create new languages easily. You can even send a link to the translator and they can review how it looks in real time. It makes it easy to fit text that has different lengths in your design, and since its rendered with real text, if it goes a bit smaller because there is a lot of text, it still will be readable. Additional languages can also be used to make alternative versions of a design if you wish, and use different feeds with the same languages but cater to different audiences, or show different products, all from one base design. You can even use different pictures in the materials for different countries / languages very easily. All the feed management and dynamic content stuff would be another best thing for me. The last and best thing –for me– about Bannerflow is their Support. Whenever you have any kind of problem they reply instantly. Also there is a huge FAQ base, and everything is well documented there. They really do care about their customers and want to make their product the best. Also, they organize webinars to inspire their clients and share new ideas, or new widgets, periodically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Bannerflow? For the time being, I've had very little problems using Bannerflow. It was maybe less consistent some time ago, but in the last year the performance and stability improved a lot. When you start using it, some things may be different than you expect, but after some time of learning and attending their conferences you start to really squeeze it! Then you realize is easy to create materials, and that it all pays off at the end. The only thing to consider is that it is not a cheap system. But taking into account all it has to offer, you'll know if it's the right tool for you. Just make your numbers and give it a try if in doubt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
