Also, it makes it possible to record a certain area on a PC screen, or capture a game that uses the DirectX/OpenGL/Vulkan graphics technologies. Bandicam will help you carry out a game capture with high compression ratio, while keeping the video quality closer to the original work, and provides performance far superior to other screen capture software that provide similar functions. Bandicam compresses the video while recording and uses less CPU/GPU/RAM resources, and it fully supports the hardware accelerated h.264 encoder of Nvidia NVENC/CUDA, Intel Quick Sync video and AMD VCE which allow video to be recorded in high speed, with a high compression ratio and excellent quality. As a result, it has less lag and you can save your HDD and CPU. Bandicam displays FPS number in the corner of the screen while it is active in the 'Game Recording' mode. It also can record video at resolutions of up to 3840x2160 in high quality (2160P UHD video can be made) and your webcam stream will be simultaneously recorded and merged with the game / screen recording (Picture-in-Picture, Video-in-Video). In addition, Bandicam supports mouse click effects and a real-time drawing function which allows users to draw lines, boxes, or highlights while recording the computer screen. You can upload the recorded file to YouTube without converting because the recorded file size is much smaller than files created with other software (1/5 ~ 1/20 video size). It supports recording your screen and/or streaming from your web camera, using most of the modern codecs. The user interface of this software is straightforward. There are some advanced settings too. Scheduling screen recording and adding overlays over your recordings are pretty helpful. Also, you can record some applications (games, media apps, etc.) which don't support capturing standard ways. Using graphics acceleration (for Nvidia cards) also helps you to get final results faster. **What do you dislike about Bandicam?** Bandicam does not support streaming the recorded video on the fly, making it useless to work with Twitch or YouTube live streams. Switching the scenes is also pretty painful, so you couldn't get a fast result if you are working with multiple sources simultaneously. You'll see a big button, you hit that and you'll start recording your screen. The benefits of having a screen recorder goes beyond what I can write here. However, especially in attempting to troubleshoot Information Technology issues, I can record my screen and then let my IT support figure out what I did wrong. Not only in this situation, but those who like to play video games on PC/Mac, this program will flawless record your screens with ease! **What do you dislike about Bandicam?** One of the things I definitely dislike about Bandicam is it'll freeze or incomplete a video you're recording. About an hour ago, I was having an issue with an application so I went to record what was going on to be able to show the IT and have them replicate it. Bandicam froze up about 3 times before I was able to actually have a video file to that I could forward over to my IT Support. It's the little things that bug ya, but none the less, this is a GREAT program. **Recommendations to others considering Bandicam:** Let me be clear, if you are currently looking for a screen recording software or are on the edge of whether or not to buy this product, I would definitely recommend Bandicam. Before buying the licence you're also invited to test out the software with its free, trial, version. I started using it to record audio/video from video games, it deals amazingly well with fast paced games and has a seamless recording. ( No lag, even on a lower end PC or laptop, from my experience ) Audio and video settings enable any user with a license to personalize almost everything of the recording experience. The software has a high compression rate but the quality rarely feels like a downgrade, even at smaller file sizes. The ability to switch the recording between a game, full screen and screen area, or even with an external device, is also a great feature which I love. **What do you dislike about Bandicam?** I've had some problems with corrupted videos, which I was able to fix with the tool provided by Bandicam themselves called Bandifix. **Recommendations to others considering Bandicam:** Try out the free version, have a run at it. If you're looking for a software that can handle capture of high speed games with a lot of movement or that need a high bitrate when recorded, Bandicam might be perfect for you. 4K UHD recording and high FPS recording are also a great feature that will make your videos look better. **What problems is Bandicam solving and how is that benefiting you?** Bandicam helped me with recording multiple videos a day, along with its smaller file size which has been a huge benefit.
