Yeah. I find the paid time off options a little confusing, especially in how they represent different policies for different employee groups. I think that whole process could be smoother and more intuitive. I’d also like more clarity when it comes to tracking remaining PTO for employees on an accrual-based PTO structure. Right now there’s a bit of guesswork in knowing whether you can approve upcoming vacation time, since accrual can vary depending on the number of hours worked. I’d love to see some kind of prediction tool that gauges how likely it is that an employee will have accrued enough PTO to cover their request by the time the time off occurs. I don't like the advertisement for the on demand pay showing up without the option to turn it off. There seemed to be some bottle necks in terms of PTO allowances that I ran into that cause me to miss out on accruing PTO and the company had to manually refund those. I like that it it super-intuitive to use (I can usually figure out what I'm trying to do really quickly), it's web-based (not depended on on-prem infrastructure and performance), and it doesn't overwhelm the user with useless information (layout is simple). I do wish they had more sophisticated integrations (I work in IT, and there have been times where I wish it "talked" with our existing systems, primarily Microsoft 365/Entra ID to provide a more seamless experience on the backend; as is, it's effectively a standalone system apart from the rest of our infrastructure). I honestly haven’t run into any issues with Bamboo so far. The only improvement that comes to mind is the onboarding process: it would be great if we could add a company history video directly there. Right now, it seems like you can include a link, but you can’t actually embed the video. That said, this is a minor point compared to the many other great things Bamboo has to offer. I also find it inconvenient that every vacation request immediately sends an email notification to my supervisor. It would be helpful to have a draft option that allows employees to plan and adjust vacation requests before formally submitting them.
