Bamboo HR is a great platform when it’s used well. When I started working at H+L (my current employer, a marketing agency), the onboarding process was seamless. It was great to see visual feedback in the platform as I completed each stage. I also really appreciated that it let me save feedback as it came up and manage PTO. Integrations such as calendar updates are very useful when asking for PTO. AI-Generated Peer Groups also helped me in my early stages to get to see a bigger picture of who I was working with and who I have to look for. I do appreciate the design, but I feel it would be helpful to have a way of personalizing the panels and improving the calendar integration to add PTO as well as holidays these will have more impact for me as an employee on organizing my time, kind of being authomatic almost. The GUI and navigation is really simple in BambooHR and when I used Bamboo HR for first time I was surprised by its simplicity. There was no need for any training as a new associate using it. And there were integration to sync leave/appraisal and all other HR data to other platforms. So I never had to worry about data not being in sync across platforms.
