"Simple, easy to navigate and changes are so easy"

What do you like best?

I like the time savings, the customization and the simplicity of the tool. Our managers have struggled to keep documentation in one concise place and BambooHR makes it so easy.

What do you dislike?

I would like to see additional payroll functionality - however I understand that the company is still very young and just recently offering payroll.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Do your research with other HRIS vendors. Some of them offer an all in one solution that doesn't necessarily mean an all in one solution. I was able to customize the entire setup, I was there the whole time with an implementation specialist and she answered all of my questions (there were a LOT!). She was very helpful and considerate. She did research when she didn't know what I was requesting. It was very helpful.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Efficiency, basically a one stop shop for all employee file and documentation needs.

"Bamboohr will give you the best human resources management"

What do you like best?

Bamboohr we like because it allows us to keep the records of our employees in a very orderly manner. It has been very comfortable when it comes to benefit tracking, and offers a good capacity for storing human resources documents. We also like the fact that bamboohr offers standardized and easy-to-customize email alerts and allows us to work comfortably with our workflows.

What do you dislike?

We do not like how slow the mobile application of bamboohr has been. We do not like its capacity for self-service of employees, because its single sign-on is slow and complicated in what refers to the authentication. The company calendar is very un-customizable. We do not like your time-off management.

Recommendations to others considering the product

We recommend the use of bamboohr mainly because it is very good for hiring management, and for the management of absences and attendances of each employee. In addition, it allows us to properly monitor the life cycle of each employee within the company, and that is excellent for large companies.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bamboohr has brought us a lot of advantages. Among them, security for our data, since the accessibility of the platform works by levels that can be programmed so that only we or a few chosen users can access the information. In addition, it has saved us a lot of time in the management of electronic signatures. Thanks to bamboohr we also have a better management of our compensation.

"Bamboohr: We could not ask for better management of our employees"

What do you like best?

We quite like the ease we get with bamboohr to track human resources documents. It offers a good base for self-service, and allows the user to optimize workflows completely at convenience. Now, the task system allows the leader to edit the level of accessibility that the other workers of the company will have, allowing even to create delegates.

What do you dislike?

We do not like the employee chart system. It is a little complicated to use the ATS tool to follow the candidates. Basically, it is good for managing our internal human resources, but not for job interviews. We do not like your document storage system, which has very little capacity and that basically forces you to acquire an external service of hosting in the cloud.

Recommendations to others considering the product

We recommend bamboohr to every human resources department, mainly because it is easy to create reports of the performance of each employee, and monitor the time and daily entries. No doubt bamboohr is a great acquisition.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bamboohr has been excellent at notifying our employees about a specific event, thanks to its newsletter system. It has also been made easier for us to carry out time tracking, and to monitor the work goals of our employees, since these are managed in the form of tasks, or "tasks" that can be fulfilled, and are cumulative. With bamboohr we have worked better our workflows.

"Functional and Efficient Platform"

What do you like best?

Bamboo HR offers a diverse, intuitive and clean user-interface and platform. From an employee view, it provides a clean and defined outline of job-specific outlines, pay, taxation and an entirely comprehensive outline of anything and everything that your organization may need. Some of the most significant and beneficial features are how streamlined the services and overall integration is; additionally, Bamboo HR comes with a companion app on your mobile devices that offers a quick and effective access point for submitting time off requests, employee searches, etc.

What do you dislike?

Though Bamboo HR is an incredibly diverse platform, I must admit that after recently acquiring Trax, a Payroll system they've recently integrated into their sub-system, is, unfortunately, a cumbersome and not fully integrated product that compliments their overall service. Though in retrospect, each public organization diversifies they payroll systems and this is not necessarily a "demerit" towards Bamboo HR's overall performance and user optimization, however, there is certainly a significant amount of work that still needs to be completed before their newly acquired payroll integration is fully operational.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you plan on utilizing a Payroll System, perform adequate research prior to obtaining Bamboo HR. Contact Customer Service to determine if there is seamless integration. Also, word of caution, the Trax Payroll System that Bamboo HR has recently acquired is not "fully integrated" and may warrant further research into a payroll system that will best be suitable for your needs.

Employee Timekeeping, Organization Chart References, PTO and specialty time-off requests and heave reporting and analytic data.

"Human resources system online."

What do you like best?

This tool is very complete, it has all the characteristics of any application that is used in the human resources section within a company, and everything is based on the cloud, which makes it a much easier software to use, and not has the classic inconveniences, which have many windows applications, it is very unlikely that this application has a fault when it is being used, something that I love about this application, is the generation of information, for our employees, especially for the new one's employees, we can send them all automatically, the corresponding information they need to develop the different tasks within the company, and schedules, classes and other resources on the training they must perform when entering our company, which accelerates a lot the process of incorporation and start-up of new workers.

What do you dislike?

I think some aspects regarding the security of the application can be significantly improved, I'm not an expert in computer security, and I think the application has some vulnerabilities, being based on the cloud, I imagine it can be very easy for those who know this, access our platforms, I would like this tool to have multiple security factors, as do different companies, such as google, that verify you by email and cell phone, access to the account.

is a tool that has all the necessary features to perform, a complete and optimal work, in the area of human resources, to be based on the cloud, is quite light and does not need a complex configuration.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Some time ago when I joined this company, the process of hiring new employees, was quite complex, we performed different tasks, in different applications and websites, for the search of new quantities, and after the hearing, the information that was given to them to each person, it was a bit complicated to do, since we use BambooHR, we have simplified all this type of operations, and we have almost an automated system for these contracting processes, only some things we still have to improve, and we hope that with this application we can have a more optimal process in a short time.

"Bamboohr: comfortable management of internal human resources"

What do you like best?

Bamboohr we love for the simple fact of allowing us to perform onboarding. It is extremely excellent to track the applicants to our organization, and to comfortably manage our internal human resources. Your interview scheduling system is also good enough to properly order each scheduled interview. It is excellent to track the life cycle of each employee, and for the management of compensation. We also like his system of personnel hiring very much.

What do you dislike?

Something we do not like about bamboohr is that it does not allow us to make comments in 360 degrees. Neither does it allow for the proper management of workflows, nor does it allow the management of tables of work possessions. However, it does not allow to properly manage the time of each employee, nor import databases. It also does not offer us the possibility of carrying out screening.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Bamboohr is highly recommended to keep track of candidates. It is excellent for managing documents, job openings, and the information of each employee. We also recommend it to perform onboarding systematically, and to review and alter the schedule of job interviews.

Bamboohr has greatly improved our ability to track candidates. Now it is much easier for us to incorporate electronic signatures, monitor the waiting time, and even create reports. Our work has clearly become more effective, since we now save much more time for reviewing workflows. Your benefit tracking system has also been quite beneficial.

"BambooHR the best Human Resources program"

What do you like best?

BambooHR undoubtedly makes life and work easier for you! It is very easy to use, with a simple, beautiful and dynamic platform. It is excellent for those who work directly with her and for those who benefit directly from the information in her, if you need to know how many days you have left in this program you can see, if you need to know who has the day off or rest, everyone can see it in the program without needing to move from the computer to the human resources department.

What do you dislike?

The truth is that we do not have anything bad or negative to say about BambooHR, it is a very good program that complies with the things it promises, but the support of the program itself is not very good, on one occasion we needed to solve a problem and we did not receive the assistance required, but the program itself is excellent!

You need to keep a record of reports on labor information, health, welfare and much more of your employees, administration and hiring of employees. BambooHR is the human resources tool that you should undoubtedly use!

It is the best tool that we have been able to use and that you have given us the best benefits, we are a data security company, therefore this tool is indispensable for us. "Great software for small businesses!"

What do you like best?

I like that I can onboard new employees so easily! I love that all of my onboarding forms are digital. I also like that when a new employee come onboard, it's announced to their team. I also like the permissions that I can set up for certain managers. I have managers that i only want to be able to access notes, I have some managers that can access almost everything except for the CEO and CFO job info. It makes my life as the HR director so much easier and cuts most of my tasks in half.

What do you dislike?

There's nothing I dislike. The software is super user-friendly. THe only thing I have tried to do that was not available for me is that I have a reimbursement form that employees can complete to get reimbursements. This form goes to the employee and then their manager. I"d like to have this form available at all times to the employee so he can access it whenever a reimbursement is needed. Currently, I have to send it to them for signature.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have solved the problem of being able to go just about paperless. I can onboard my new employees as well as send them digital forms to sign for benefits. It also keeps employees from coming to me with tons of questions all the time. They can easily login to bamboo to look up how much they are getting paid, their start date, benefit rates, other employees contact info, etc.

"BambooHR offers us an extensive management of human resources"

What do you like best?

Undoubtedly there are many things that we liked about bamboohr in this time using it, but what we liked the most is being able to handle hiring of personnel so comfortably. It is excellent when it comes to segmenting candidates to interview, and to create employee databases (from scratch). It is very good to review the life cycle of each employee, and to separate them according to their different abilities.

What do you dislike?

We do not like that bamboohr lacks a 360-degree feedback system on the quality of each employee's work, which ends up being a bit limiting. It does not allow us to properly manage the payroll of the department, and its time management and the assistance of each employee is very little customizable. However, it does not allow to manage workflows, and its self-service portal is not very informative.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Bamboohr is a platform for managing human resources completely recommended for any medium-sized company that requires a better organization in its HHRR department. We are really pleased with the use of the platform, and we want to recommend it as much as we can. It is highly recommended for the application of onboarding.

We had enough difficulties with what would be the follow-up of candidates, and with our assessment management. Thanks to the use of bamboohr our department is much better organized than before, and our management of internal human resources is easier than ever. "BambooHR is the best friend of the employee of human resources"

What do you like best?

We love that bambooHR allows to alter the accessibility permits of several members of the work team, because this adds much more dynamism to human resources management. In addition, it makes the work of other employees easier. Its interface is very easy to manage.

What do you dislike?

BambooHR does not allow 360-degree comments, and its management of personnel hiring is not sufficiently customizable, which is why we think it is not good for handling job interviews or tracking applicants. Its management of the life cycle of each candidate is limiting.

Recommendations to others considering the product

We fully recommend bambooHR. This platform has left us satisfied with its human resources management functions. We recommend it to medium-sized companies that have a number of staff of between 15 and 30 employees, to take an organized and easy to perform management.

In the past, we had difficulties managing our compensation of human resources, and to keep track of each employee, since it is difficult for us to manage their assistance in an organized manner. With regard to the employee database, it is now much easier to review the information of each one.

What do you like best?

Its mobile application for Hiring and ATS is useful and offers a very easy experience thanks to its solid and easy to use interface. BambooHR offers a good tracking system for job candidates and a good integration capacity to third-party hosting services

What do you dislike?

The open API of bambooHR is deficient and not very customizable when it comes to integrating the platform with other HHRR services or recruitment of personnel, such as Big Biller. The advantage plan does not offer enough Workflow tools, although in this case it is not essential, as it serves to work

Recommendations to others considering the product

Something highly recommended by bambooHR is your base for self service and for workflows. The platform is also recommended to monitor employee goals, and to store important documents (your information encryption is reliable, fairly safe)

We solved a huge problem with the granting of permits to third parties. BambooHR offers the possibility of delegating and personalizing the power of each person attached to data management so that they can do things like approve or deny changes in documents and workflows

"BambooHR was one of my first companies choice when it came to HR Software"

What do you like best?

It was very easy to get around, there was many features, even so, It had so many features we did not get to use the functions fully due to the fact that we did not need many of them, leaving us to have the ability to be able have other opportunities for tools as the company grew. I loved the easy accessibility.

What do you dislike?

I did not get a chance to find anything to dislike, or Should I say, There were not any reasons to dislike the service.

If you are looking for something affordable and very easy to get around on without having to do much training, then this is the service for your HR.

"Attract applicants in a more personalized way. "

What do you like best?

Friendly user interface and easy to use. Many functions available for small businesses. I really like the established firm for employees to sign documents and send announcements. Great customer service too. I like how everything I want to share about me can be visualized, we also use BambooHR to attract clients and it works wonders.

What do you dislike?

The software is not suitable for large companies. I could see an improvement in the benefits portion and the payroll is non-existent. There should be more partnerships available or Bamboo should start improving the benefits and the payroll part. Improving the part of the self-service employee as well.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This platform is outstanding. The user interface is excellent and customer service is top notch. BambooHR actually invites you to receive comments from your users and implements the requested changes. The creation of BambooHR reports is very easy to use. Your pre-canned reports are true time savers. For this and for thousands of more pros I recommend this system.

In addition to maintaining personnel records, you can schedule free time, keep current documents and policies, create and save various types of reports that will help with finances and other types of activities.

"BambooHR is perfect for small equipment HHRR"

What do you like best?

It is easy to log in to the BambooHR website, it offers a good integration capacity with external hosting platforms (drive, for example). Your ATS system is useful for classifying candidates for jobs. Allows delegating functions to our team so that they have different powers over the information, depending on their position (maximum 5 people)

What do you dislike?

It is a bit complicated to manage workflows. It is difficult to track goals (only in the case of individual goals) and your Hiring app is quite confusing (in addition to slow). It is foolish to be able to manage large teams when the application focuses more on the management of each member individually

Recommendations to others considering the product

We recommend bambooHR if it is small equipment. This platform focuses mainly on being able to track in a more individual way about the staff members and the leads. We specifically recommend the advantage plan, which shows more security with information encryption

We needed a platform that would allow us to keep track of our staff, but also allow us to create detailed reports. This is just what bambooHR has brought us. Your chat function for employees has helped us to keep in touch with the staff even after work hours

"The software of the human resources"

What do you like best?

BambooHR helps me manage our most important asset, our employees. It covers integration, assignment of tasks and generation of reports, among other functions. It may seem a bit basic for some, but we found that it suits us in terms of functionality and efficiency. All its functions are great, and its platform very well designed although sometimes it can be a little complex having so many functions available.

What do you dislike?

The support and customer service have really proved problematic: during the integration stage, everything was excellent, but then, when we had some problems with the product, the support team did not even try to help us, it was simply useless.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would definitely recommend BambooHR to small organizations that seek to streamline their processes related to human resources. since it handles the essential aspects, such as hiring and managing employees, and it sells a lot of headache with PTO tracking. Also, it does not take long to learn how it works.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The software is very easy to use and you can find an article of help on almost anything you want to know. One of my favorite features is the electronic signature that you can configure for Human Resources documents. Our incorporation is made much easier by not having to print each form and fill in by hand, which has brought a breath to our entire company and team knowing that we have the best Bamboo HR tool.

"Bamboo HR "

What do you like best?

BambooHR has been a life saver for our company. Within the last year the company has grown so much and we need a database to help us keep track of our employees as well as run reports, and BambooHR has been able to do that and more for us . They have made our job so much easier and less stressful. Bamboohr has been the easiest platform to use and train our employee. We have been using Bamboo HR for about 8 month and we have not had any negative feedback from any of our employee, 90% of our employee use the system and love it. The company has never had an electronic website for the employees to login and have everything at their fingertips.

What do you dislike?

I don't there is something we dislike, but something we wish Bamboo could do is have multiple calendars. We use calendar for different meeting, vacations, and travel and we wish we could separate them by calendars.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would recommend a small company to look into Bamboo especially if there are growing, BambooHR was so easy to set up, the team was so helpful helping us go live, and provided so much training so that we were all knowledgable about our site in order to answer our employees questions.

The problems we are solving with BambooHR is ur reporting. There are multiple report we have to submit in order to be in compliance with the State of California and BambooHR has been able to assist us in maintain all of the data and easily creating a report.

"Bamboo HR Just Makes it Easy"

What do you like best?

As an end-user it's easy to see how much sick/vacation/flex time you have remaining. No more running to HR and asking about how much vacation time you have left. No more endless emails about which holiday you have off. Very easy to see when your co-worker is taking a day off.

What do you dislike?

I'm hard-pressed to identify what I don't like about Bamboo. I've had to set up other time and attendance systems and Bamboo HR is excellent for time and attendance. Now, I'm not using Bamboo HR for a strict time and attendance. I'm not having the employees fill out a timesheet. I would dig a little more to see if Bamboo HR does this.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Know what your team needs, especially if you are a global team. Do you have a global team? Will you need to run reviews? I would also consider running this as part of your onboarding process, even though it's super intuitive. Why? You may have team members who have used Bamboo HR in the past and it was set up differently. I ran into this several times with out of the box installations.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're a global team and we need to know when someone is out of the office. Different global teams have different holidays and it's not always feasible to use Outlook (urgh) to look at broad holiday schedules.

Bamboo HR also helps us solve for reviews and making sure the reviews come in when they're supposed to come in. Bamboo's notification system serves as a reminder to the end-user to complete their review.

"Simple, sleek HR management tool that integrates easily with other programs"

What do you like best?

Integration with other programs and breadth of ability to do payroll and post job openings. While it is yet another task management software, BambooHR organizes and priorities onboarding tasks for both the manager and for the new employee, which keeps everything of importance all in one place and, alongside the scheduling integration, prevents sloppy mistakes affecting ability to work.

What do you dislike?

Interface can feel clunky at times when access isn't given to particular levels. Files, Reports, and Hiring tabs aren't super self-explanatory.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

BambooHR in particular was chosen over other HR management tools because of it's ability to integrate with Deputy Scheduling. Being able to log hours and do payroll all in one - without having to transfer numbers between software applications - saves invaluable time, as does it's ability to do all onboarding alongside job applications and postings themselves.

What do you like best?

My experience with BambooHR has been brilliant. They were very patient and helpful, since we took our time to decide which HR system would be right for our business. The system itself is extremely easy to use and, although we are in the UK, we have no problem contacting the help desk and receiving quick responses

What do you dislike?

In our company is not according to the regular system has a catalog of job opportunities and data on each opportunity, including the hiring manager, how many people have been nominated and how long has been published

In our company you have set your eye to the BambooHR service, where you have low amplitude that has a panel homepage with different sections for employee information, vacation time recording and reports. The sections are: "My information", "Employees", "Job offers", "Reports" and "Files". The panel also contains an employee's image, contact details and the remaining vacation time. It has areas that show scheduled lessons and business communications. Users can see their co-workers' birthdays and scheduled free time

"Implemented 2.5 years ago and still going strong!"

What do you like best?

Since we first rolled out BambooHR in January 2016, we have loved this platform. From applicant tracking and collaboration, sending out offer letters, to onboarding, the need for paper files is gone! Our middle managers enjoy the ability to see who is out across their crews on any given day, celebrate anniversaries and birthdays with our employees and to better manage do performance reviews all through Bamboo.

Their reporting features come in both Standard reports and custom reports that can be shared with one another.

Files can be shared with the entire company or with just a few individuals

The e-signature feature means no more waiting to get a signature from someone on a form - no more delays!

Announcements can be posted in Bamboo and/or emailed as well making sure that everyone gets important company notices

The ATS also goes out to free job boards and you have a job link just for you account that shows any open jobs you are posting

There is an app that can be used for a company directory access and for scheduling time off

Our employees also really like that I have set up a feature in Bamboo that alerts them 30 days before their driver's license and their trade licenses expire!

Very user friendly and set up was very smooth. Their customer service is the best I have encountered. They are always asking for feedback on how to make their product better and each month they do!

What do you dislike?

I did want a system that had the benefits integration aspect with it. When I first started with Bamboo, the only option was Maxwell and that was a total disaster! It took 6 months of trying to get that system set up and then I was informed that they did not integrate with our insurance carrier so I would still have to do paper apps, so I scratched that whole thing!

I have since learned that Bamboo has two other offering for benefit integration with BeneTrac and PlanSource, so I am researching both of them to see if either is a viable option. If so, this would make Bamboo perfect for us

I would recommend anyone checking out HRIS systems (not just Bamboo) to 1st know what it is that you need from the software. Do your research and read reviews of people who are actual users of the software. If possible, after you have narrowed your search, find out if your insurance broker would be willing to pick up the cost of the system for you. Since Zenefits came about, many brokers are willing to do this (mine was, so I get to use BambooHR and it doesn't cost us anything)!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I no long need to keep spreadsheets for employee anniversaries, birthdays, trainings completed/expired and contact information. We now have a collaborative ATS for all hiring managers and HR to use that also captures EEO information. The org chart is useful for new hires to help put faces with names when they first hire on. The e-signature feature is accepted by all of our benefit providers, so enrolling in benefits has been streamlined using Bamboo as well. The custom reports are fantastic and very useful and can be run for "point in time", so pulling information by quarter is a breeze.

This system actually saved our company from having to hire additional office assistant for me for over a year and a half!

"Does what it does very well"

What do you like best?

It's been so thoughtfully designed. Whenever I'm unsure about whether the system handles something, it usually does. The onboarding has been a tremendous time-saver and the ability to distribute documents through the system with signature requests is huge. We rolled out a new employee handbook, distributed it through Bamboo and were able to see the counter tick up as each employee reviewed and signed off on the handbook and could check in at any time to see which requests were still outstanding. The requesting time off functionality is also very slick. Great reporting. It's a great little system that packs a big punch.

What do you dislike?

Not too much. I've had some pain points with benefits. We only use Bamboo to capture who is signed up for what, the basic costs of the plans, etc. But when the plan year ended, the process of updating the plans to show new ones was a pain. I don't know if it could've gone better had I understood the system better, but as it is, I'm still working through the process to assign the new plans to each employee.

It is SUPER helpful if you have a long-term vision that takes a 360 view of everything you need. I would love one system that does it all and right now there are some frustrations with having my HR system separate from my payroll system as there is some overlapping functionality and extra work to keep those in sync. But BambooHR has earned my allegiance for putting a terrific problem out there that is super intuitive, loaded with support help and quick to pick up the phone. I certainly am game to watch their product continue to evolve and be part of that ride.

We've made tremendous strides towards going paperless and have found tremendous efficiencies. We are also rolling out the performance management system and it promises to be a bit of a game changer. Excited about that.

"Stay away from Bamboo Payroll "

What do you like best?

This review is strictly for Bamboo payroll. Bamboo HR is pretty good overall.

What do you dislike?

Bamboo Payroll is not synced with Bamboo HR. Not only this, but also the specialists in Bamboo HR and Bamboo Payroll do not have any crossed knowledge for each platform. And everything they do is manual including manually entering each paycheck. There is no way you can finish payroll on your own, since you need to contact Bamboo Payroll for any changes. From there, your assigned the payroll specialist will send you the payroll registry in pdf. There is no excel report available. Now I understand why an payroll specialist is assigned to each account. It's basically a payroll service that they will enter all the changes for you. But you will need to tell them all the changes, and reviewed it once it's done. Because it's a manual process at their end, it takes average 2 days to get everything correct. And in the 2 days, there is nothing you can do besides waiting.

We didn't get any payroll training until the day of actual payroll, and our payroll specialist told us that they are way understaffed so our requests will not be visited on time. And there is nothing they can do.

Stay away from Bamboo Payroll 100%. It is a nightmare.

Payroll. We had payroll service with Gusto and they are great. The only reason we moved from Gusto to Bamboo Payroll is we have Bamboo HR for our HR side. We were under impression that once we moved payroll to the same HR system, all the info from HR will be synced to Payroll. But it's not the case. It takes us about half day to do payroll within Gusto, and now takes average 2 days with Bamboo Payroll. Everything is manual here and the payroll specialist is slow to respond. Execupay is also very hard to work with.

"Shines Light Into Corporate HR"

What do you like best?

Easily see benefits, accruals, HR tasks, colleague and supervisor reviews, scheduled reviews and information relevant to company updates, policies and events. Really opens up the workplace beyond what can be seen face-to-face or through limited emails. Brings the workplace together.

What do you dislike?

It's important to log-out of profile, or else others will have all of your company business accessible. Would be important to verify log-out and that computer would not retain login credentials so that others would have access to personal information.

"Fantastic HR Platform for our Growing Business"

What do you like best?

I love all the modern features and improvements they've made on traditional HR. Our company is almost completely paperless so having esignature, onboarding, reviews, etc. all in BambooHR is amazing!

What do you dislike?

We really don't have any big complaints. One recent feedback we got from a hiring manager was that they wish BambooHR parsed resumes so they could search across all of our applicants.

It took me awhile to get familiar with the permissions. HR data is obviously very confidential so I was concerned about sharing too much w/ people but we've dialed it in now.

I'd highly recommend their performance management and ATS modules. They integrate seamlessly.

"BambooHR the best complement for Human Resources."

What do you like best?

BambooHR is perhaps one of the best and most complete human resources softwares that exists in the market, offers multiple tools ranging from the integration of equipment, generation of reports about the personnel, monitoring of new candidates of the company, personnel information, in general it offers you detailed and updated information of all the personnel that works in the company, which is very advantageous when making the payroll, looking for job candidates and other HR procedures. The best thing about all this is that the platform is super easy to use, both in the desktop version and in the mobile version. BammbooHR is definitely an incredible platform for RH, easy to use, with many tools and with a friendly interface.

What do you dislike?

One of the few disadvantages of BambooHR is for large companies, because of the number of employees it becomes a bit slow and confusing to use at times and the customer service system is not very good, in my personal opinion, of the rest BambooHR remains one of my first options to choose for personnel management and the best choice for small and medium enterprises.

"Best Software for HR"

What do you like best?

The best thing in BambooHR is that it manages all employee data under one roof. Every employee can check their details like salary details, employment details, educational details, bank details in which salary is credited. We can also check directory to contact another employee using his/her email. There is a hierarchy chart in which it tells us that were do we stand in the company and whom do we report. Moreover it enable you to fill your general details which is visible to your colleagues like your hobbies, your liking, disliking and whatever you want them to show on portal. User interface is very good and user friendly. Navigation is really easy.

What do you dislike?

Earlier when I used the tool as en employee, I tried to login through app, but I faced issues while logging. I could not login and I had to drop the idea. Rest everything is good in the tool and I find nothing to dislike in this software.

I will suggest that one must try at least. This is very good software in terms of management. One will get use to it in first go.

There is a win win situation on both the sides.

One feature that I enjoy best when using BambooHR is the access we have to our coworkers corporate wide as well as seeing who is off at certain times.

So far I have no complaints about BambooHR. Everything has worked out well, however I am relatively new to using it.

"Works Great for Managing Electronic Document Signing and Vacation Schedules"

I like that we can do all of our HR paperwork virtually. I also like that our Google log-in works seamlessly with Bamboo.

What do you dislike?

I don't know how much of this is the way we have it set up, but the interface for everything isn't super intuitive. The interface for looking for documents in the files, requesting time off, and especially the employee review process are not intuitive. The whole system feels homemade. We actually have homegrown software at our company and it is much slicker than Bamboo.

I am only an employee, I'm not in HR, so I don't have any recommendations as far as how robust it is. From my experience, it seems that the customer has to do a lot of work to make sure it works for you - the user interface doesn't offer a lot of extras. So, if you are looking for flexibility, Bamboo has that.

What do you like best?

Helps the management team to coordinate efficiently with their employees. It also allows individuals to enter their own information and details, which eventually reduces errors in the company. The best part is that the BambooHR's support is excellent and extremely supportive when using the software. The development team constantly updates the software, which renders the tool even more efficient that it was.

What do you dislike?

The tool does not integrate with other tools used in the organisation. Secondly, one needs to undergo some basic training before using the software, it is not that easy to use. However, the more one uses it, the simpler it becomes.

What we like most about bambooHR are its time tracking and goals tools. It is very easy to create and monitor individual goals, and it is also easy to create detailed reports for payments. The storage of bambooHR documents is very broad

We do not like your application tracking system (called ATS). It is difficult to precisely identify qualified candidates with it, and its mobile application for Hiring is slow and complicated to use, or at least, this in the Android version

Don't have a true workflow for Onboarding and Offboarding activities

Have all your requirements very clear and ask for clarification. In my case, some of the requirements had to do with very flexible reporting and workflows and BambooHR fell a bit behind it. But those were not deal breakers and I trust that they eventually add those features.

"Great web app for start-ups."

What do you like best?

I love that Bamboo is inexpensive. It has and HR and an ATS component. The job syndication is great. Their customer service is great too. There was a bug in the system, which I reported and it got fixed very quickly.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the product.

I am pretty happy with the product, so nothing to dislike about it, really.

"A great tool for community, information and more!"

What do you like best?

The software is very user-friendly, looks great and engages employees. We have numerous offices, some in other states and it is nice to have the directory with faces tied to the names. I also like that each employee personalizes their own information allowing supervisors to get to know them better and throw out special surprises like giftcards, lunch, etc. and know the staffs preferences. Tracking PTO, time off for other reasons and sick time is a breeze.

What do you dislike?

I can't say that there is anything I dislike about it - I did a lot of research before presenting BambooHR to our Senior Management and CEO.

I highly recommend BambooHR, it has features that are a step ahead of a lot of the other options.

"HR App in need of some features but improving"

What do you like best?

I like the ability to look at a glance and see who is approved to be out and who is not and how that help to make our daily and weekly game plans. As an employee user this is about all we use.

What do you dislike?

Had some issue with not being able to easily go into negative hours. Also notes are not easily seen by my manager. On several occasions I have written notes with my time off request and my manager does not see them. Unsure if this is user error or a fault of the app, but making the notes more prominent will probably help.

Recommendations to others considering the product

None, this works for the purposes of my company. For time management and time off management, this works well. I use the iphone app mostly but the website works too.

It is being used for time off management mostly. At least for my uses. I do not know what the management uses on the back end. I just know that for my purposes as an employee, the time off management works pretty well.

"Easy to use all-in-on HRMS"

What do you like best?

User interface is great. intuitive and easy to use. Almost don't need to train our people cause they understand very quickly how to move around software and find the info they need.

The BambooHR support team is awesome, they answer our requests very quickly even though we're more than 9h ahead.

the Onboarding feature is very useful and helps us to keep the process on track and provide a good candidate (almost employee) experience.

What do you dislike?

there is not room to customize too much the processes. You can suggest new features or funtionalities, which is great, but you don't know what will happen with your suggestion, there is no feedback on this until you receive the news about product updates.

Another thing is that we're an European based company and many fields and features are U.S oriented. We could solve this asking for customized fields, which is working perfectly.

Having our employees information centralized and accessible 24h per day and updated. It's a cloud solution, we can see the information we need even outside the office. It's automatizing many processe we were doing manually such as time off request and tracking, onboarding process, employee personal information, internal communication about new employees, organizational chart etc.

The reports are amazing and give us the information in real time and super quick.

We were able to launch the first employee performance management review thanks to BambooHR performance add-on which is super easy to use and gave us great and useful reports.

"Great To Use With VIVAHR"

What do you like best?

I love how easy the platform is to use. We primarily use this tool to manage our current employee, time off, payroll and internal messaging tool to notify our employees. Loved having something everyone can log into to request time off rather than the typical email.

What do you dislike?

Not a whole lot that I do not like. I might say I kinda get sick of the constant upgrade sales pitch. We got the entry option, which is perfect for our needs, but there is obviously an incentive plan internally to try and upgrade us to something else.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take advantage of their marketplace apps to build onto the core system. Like I mentioned previously, our biggest pain point was in recruiting and hiring. We were able to add on VIVAHR and also some background screening options to make our hiring process run much simpler.

I recommend building into your calendar time to work ON the system. Make your life easier by planning ahead on when you're going to admin your own system. Don't wait until there is a problem. Seems like life coaching here, but really the system is powerful, but the data left sitting there is outdated quickly. Keep it updated.

We have had a hard time hiring and having great communication with staff. We were able to look through their marketplace and add several additional tools to support our biggest pain point, hiring! "Love BambooHR!"

What do you like best?

I really like that BambooHR tracks information for us. It hold all the employee files, makes them easy to retrieve, keeps everything organized. I can also send documents and have employees sign them electronically and then they are automatically saved in their file. BambooHR also does monthly videos with product updates which I love. You can post jobs internally and onto free job sites.

What do you dislike?

I wish we could personalize things a little more for our smaller business but I totally understand why we can't and BambooHR always works with us to create a work around or give suggestions on how to make all the sections work for us.

Bamboo is always looking to improve and add things to their product, they are defiantly keeping up with the industry. They have an amazing help library if you every get stuck and respond quickly to help requests. Very hands on during set up!

"Seamless Experience"

What do you like best?

I like having all my peers' information listed for me to be able to reach them, the process to fill out documents and sign them is the easiest I have ever used. The new hire process for my current company, they use Bamboo HR, was the easiest on boarding process I believe I have experienced.

What do you dislike?

I only gripe about having the program log my out after time not being in use. That is my only "complaint" so far. The only other thing that I can think of is that the website can be slow sometimes. It can take a fortnite to update information.

Make sure you fill out your profile, as well as set up your email with an email you use frequently. It makes the abiltiy to track updates as well as receive them when you are out of the office or work space.I think linking all of your social media as well as LInkedIN profile is a plus as you can link with your fellow employees with ease.

Having all of our documents that require review or signatures sent through this portal is very easy, as well as tracking updates through the email we give on set up.

"A tracking of candidates based on the cloud."

What do you like best?

It is a good way to track applicants through BambooHR, your company has a better performance in the area of human resources that are transmitted to future employees, it contains tools for quick hiring after a previous interview with candidates, for more easy integrates online signature for contract closings.

What do you dislike?

A very positive experience that does not leave me more than just good comments about this great software.

Allowing to find applicants effectively after making a publication with the requested characteristics becomes a great advantage, before it used to be a tedious task that not everyone was encouraged to comply with, but with BambooHR this is something of the past.

"Great for small business"

What do you like best?

Everything at your fingertips and online access make this an ideal program for small businesses or those who are starting out. Assists with compliance and with assuring that the employees have information available at their fingertips. Integrations with other systems are available as well.

What do you dislike?

There are some menu items that take a bit to find. Help fields are not always where you would think they would be. Takes some research in order to find applicable or required items.

Use the software and use partners to keep your HR information up to date and with all information at your fingertips.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Tracking employees and on-boarding are so much easier with this application. Also tracking paid time off and employee vacation requests is a simple process that is all in one place. It eliminated paperwork that was required previously to make those requests.

"Excellent quality product"

What do you like best?

Talking about complete integrations, this is the program that you and your employees need, everything is compensated with the tools that BambooHR provides. It has been a huge adjustment for our company to have migrated to the BambooHR servers, a great product and excellent customer service.

What do you dislike?

Although everything is perfect we always want more, we would like integration to be more flexible. All the payroll we have to load manually and that causes us many errors, hopefully they can solve that.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

In general it is an excellent software, our servers are now faster and more reliable although sometimes there are errors, our employees feel that their information is now secure.

" Best HRIS out there! "

What do you like best?

I love the UX, the customization and the simple flow of data. There are great reports already set up for you and you have the possibility of customizing your own for any field that gets tracked.

What do you dislike?

Some data is hard to export like the Org chart and others you have to customize a report to get there. On the ATS side, it’s pretty simple which has its advantages but adding a few more features on this product could enhance it tremendously.

BambooHR is a wonderful company who continually works on their product to deliver the best experiences to their customers. You haven’t done a full HRIS evaluation if BambooHR isn’t on your list.

Ensures hiring of right talent by offering applicant tracking services

Keeps the workforce happy and motivated as it executes the key roles effectively

Sometimes their customer support is busy and held up in resolving issues from other users thereby taking some time

The business problem is that of not having a definite human resource software that addresses all the concerns and welfare of the employees as stipulated by the law. Basic processes such as payroll management used to lag behind and result into inconveniences during processing of employee benefits among remuneration benefits. The benefit that we have obtained is that with are now in full compliance with the stipulated human resource regulations and therefore keep a motivated workforce

"A Simple Software To Know What's Going On In Your Company"

What do you like best?

It is a very simple software where a company can display lots of information. We use it at my current role to book time off or check our organizational chart or news feed etc

What do you dislike?

There's nothing I dislike so far about this software. Perhaps the fact that some information will appear on the screen that I wish to hide just in case I open this site on a public place and someone is picking over your shoulder.

Recommendations to others considering the product

As a big company I can see the value of having such a tool. You keep all HR notification, holidays etc. Under control and in one place. I will certainly recommend this tool.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The one benefit that we are solving is that through BambooHR we book our time off and keep track of our holiday days, etc. Very simple but easy tool, plus newsletter etc are also posted here.

"Huge BambooHR fan!"

What do you like best?

I'm in love with BambooHR. As the Director of HR, it's revolutionized my work. I used to do all HR functions by hand - old school style (in spreadsheets). It was extremely time consuming. Since implementing BambooHR in 2015, my time has been freed up to focus on people, which is the whole point of HR, right!? Our team loves how user friendly BambooHR is . It's super intuitive & anyone can figure it out, regardless of computer experience. We use all of the features - PTO, benefits, documents, training, ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Performance Evals etc. It's given us much more transparency & increased employees' ability to manage their own information, which has improved morale tremendously. Additionally, the customer service that BambooHR staff provide is unmatched. In my 4 years working with BambooHR, I have never once encountered an unhelpful or rude staff person - they hire the best & practice what they preach.

What do you dislike?

I really love the whole system - they only thing I wish they'd had earlier (though they're working on it now) is their own internal time tracking module. I can't wait for that feature to get rolled out so that I can bring all of that functionality into Bamboo.

You won't regret it - it's an amazing product for the price!

Applicant Tracking has gone from being a pain-staking, time-consuming, tree-killing experience to be focused on the applicant experience. PTO balances are seen in real time (as opposed to our old school painful spreadsheets). Peer Feedback & Goal Tracking is a sinch. Benefit tracking & transparency is helpful when running reports. Onboarding is automated & consistent. And now I have data - tons of data to share with my C-suite executives!
