This makes creating tech packs super easy, and exporting everything into a tech pack format is super streamlined. **What do you dislike about Bamboo Rose TotalPLM?** Sometimes the features in editing the photos can be a little bit clunky--like having to first select the delete feature and then click on the item. Also when I make construction detail call outs if I click toward the bottom of the image I can't click submit because it's not in the window. **What problems is Bamboo Rose TotalPLM solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have had log in issues in the past and server issues, and backbone was very fast at responding to my needs! Pretty much self-explanatory, especially after attending the free training that Backbone provides. I have not really used other PLM systems but it is much better than using excel. **What do you dislike about Bamboo Rose TotalPLM?** There are lots of glitchies. Backbone customer service is quick to fix when there is a problem, but the same problem reoccurs and sometimes we do not even catch the mistake until its too late or our factory comes back and says something went wrong. **What problems is Bamboo Rose TotalPLM solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the inconvenience of not letting files, artworks, and comments live in the same place. They added another function to where we can share tech packs via links instead of having to download the tech pack everytime. With this new feature, my team and I are able to attach actual illustrator files so we dont have to use WeTransfer or attach via email. ### 4. It's very intuitive to navigate around the system. I also like how customizable it is; we can add custom fields our company needs. **What do you dislike about Bamboo Rose TotalPLM?** The downsides to using Backbone is the inability to track the cost of the total finished product in the system. Backbone could improve the cost feature by adding the ability to capture cost reports per season rather than just stand-alone styles. It would be great to see a full-season picture of our product costs in a report. It would also be great to see some sort of change log tracking. We are unable to track who is making changes in the system and when! We are currently tracking this info internally in the Feedback and Revisions section of the Product. **Recommendations to others considering Bamboo Rose TotalPLM:** This system is very user-friendly. It's straightforward, and the support team is excellent at answering all questions within 24 hours. In my short time using the system, I find they follow up to see how it is working for our team. The final product looks polished and communicates exactly what we need to our manufacturers. With all the rolled-out updates, it has just been better and better. As a customer, it feels great knowing that they are continuously working hard with their clients to provide a better product. The future is bright and we can't wait to be a part of it with Backbone. **What do you dislike about Bamboo Rose TotalPLM?** The only downside is the lack of efficiency when it comes to the annotations other than comments. With the addition of automatic illustrator updates to art, that should help, but it would be nice if the annotations were more in line with the apple preview tool editor function. **Recommendations to others considering Bamboo Rose TotalPLM:** If you are not using a tech pack creating software, you should consider getting Backbone. The time you will save, and clarity in communication are well worth the price. Not to mention the final product always looks great! **What problems is Bamboo Rose TotalPLM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Communication with our factories and having all our data in one place has been the biggest problem we've solved. Before Backbone we were scrampling between word docs, excel spreatsheets, google sheets, Ai files, and several other files that needed to all be created then added into one folder to have a tech pack. Now we have it boiled down to just Ai files and Backbone. ### 11. I have used many different systems, and this was by far the easiest to pick up and learn. The onboarding team has been wonderful, and the support I've received from Backbone when I have a question or need more assistance has been quick. I loved when they sent me a video walking me through how to do an action I was learning. That was above and beyond and so appreciated. **What do you dislike about Bamboo Rose TotalPLM?** We are a primarily artwork-driven company, and managing artworks, setting them up as both approvals and colorways have been a little more complicated. We are looking forward to having an expanded system that will help us manage our artworks/graphics for the future. I like that you can add notes to images **What do you dislike about Bamboo Rose TotalPLM?** I dislike that you have to hit an edit button to make changes on the summary page- it wastes time. I dislike that you have to make your selections in 2 places for the variants of a component; again, it wastes time. I dislike that when you click on a component in the BOM that it doesn't open a new window. I dislike that you took out the feature where you could add notes to the details and to the Images. I also dislike that it force logs you out; I've had it log me out in the middle of typing comments and had to start over. I also don't like that when you copy a TP now, it changes the style number, again, just one more step to do- I have to search again for the style by name- it wastes time.
