We were honestly pretty nervous about leaving Distru—we liked their platform, but their recent price hikes were just too much. We needed something more budget-friendly, and Bamboo stepped up. Not only is it way more economical, but they actually delivered on every single promise. Three months in, and the Smart Cart and sales menus have already boosted our revenue by 30%. If I had one minor complaint, it’s that it could be a bit more mobile-friendly. Because the software handles so much data, portrait mode on a phone is a struggle. Pro-tip: Use an iPad or laptop if you can. If you have to use your phone, just flip it horizontally and you’ll be fine. Bamboo covers both Trace and Sales, and honestly, we didn’t realize what we were missing until we actually got under the hood. Compliance is pretty much the same wherever you go, but Bamboo’s sales features are in a league of their own. Everything from the QuickBooks integration to the task management and website menus is just... better. It’s completely revamped our sales ops in the best way possible. Honestly, the new sales menus and Smart Cart are a total vibe. The UI/UX feels really clean and intuitive, and everything runs snappy—none of that lag we were used to. But the real MVP for us is the trace features and manifest compliance. Being able to have sales orders flow straight into Metrc for manifests has taken a massive weight off our team’s shoulders. The ROI has been wild, mainly because of how much time we’re saving on manual entry. Even better, the Support and dev team actually listens. We shared a few suggestions, and they had them live in just two and a half weeks. I’ve honestly never seen a company move that fast. We wouldn't be where we are without Bamboo helping us with our sales. The automation of sales orders into metric invoices is so seamless and easy. We were doing everything manually, from pdfs, excel sheets, google sheets, it was getting to the point where we were on our computers 24/7 (or at least felt like it). Then we got a cold call from bamboo, and we took a leap of faith, did a demo, signed up a few days later, and their team helped us every step along the way. the sales orders are now in a very nice ecommerce shopping experience for our sales reps and dispensary buyers and general managers, they all love it. and then after the sales orders are placed, the metrc manifests are automatically created, it's been life-changing to use bamboo for everything now. Way better than Distru, Canix, Nabis, I've used all of those, and bamboo definitely provides the best value to money spent ratio. Nothing on top of my head, from the very first demo to the onboarding to 6 weeks of usage, they have gone beyond what I've encountered with Distru, Canix and Nabis. We went from Nabis to Canix to Distru, while they aren't bad, they are really expensive for what you get, and when someone from bamboo cold called us, I was like, what the heck, 15-20 minutes of my time to see what's out there. And I'm glad I picked up the phone that day, because i usually don't, but turns out, they did everything that i needed them to and then some. They have the best sales menus and their smart cart thing is helping us increase our revenue and top-line 20-30% month over month right now. couldn't be happier with the level of support that we get as well. out of the 4 companies, bamboo's customer service is bar far and large, the best. Their team is the best, from the moment they cold-called me, my gut feelings told me that these guys know what they are doing. So I gave them a chance, and actually a week later, I am using bamboo trace and sales and not looking back at flourish (which by the way, is an awful software, and awful company). After switching over to bamboo, everything has been a breeze. Everything finally makes sense. Not only does bamboo streamline our compliance, labels, manifests, etc, they also have a sales crm which has revamp the way we do our wholesale sales. we were super old school and using google sheets, but now with bamboo, everything is in one place, and we're much much much more organized. Bamboo is easy to use, organized, and makes HR tasks much simpler. I like that everything is in one place, from employee info to time off and documents, and the interface is straightforward enough that it does not take much training to navigate. If anything, some reporting or customization options can take a little time to figure out, and certain workflows could be more flexible. Overall though, it has been a very helpful tool. Bamboo is helping me respond faster and more thoughtfully, especially when I’m working through customer messages, documents, forms, and day-to-day admin details. It saves me from context switching and helps turn scattered information into clear, usable responses. The biggest benefit is speed plus confidence. I can move through tasks that would normally take a lot of back-and-forth, get drafts I can quickly edit, and avoid missing details. The entire compliance thing in new york has been a disaster. ocm, biotrack, and now metric, totally disaster, but thank god for bamboo. we found them through google, and this website, and holy moly, their team saved us. everything from day 1, they guided us, it was pretty confusing to start, but their team walked us through everything, and made sure we were setup for success with traceability and metric compliance. sorry metrc. not only is bamboo's compliance software amazing, and easy to use. the cherry on top is the sales crm, their smart cart ai thing for sales menus is beloved by our dispensary clients. thank you bamboo! What do you dislike about Bamboo? the only thing that i would recommend, i'm not sure if it's possible, it seems like some tasks can still only be done in metrc. bamboo states this is a metrc limitation, so i'm sure it is, hoping for new york to get their act together soon. either way, pleased with that we found bamboo, not pleased with ocm or the state of new york, but it is what it is. I really appreciate Bamboo's seed-to-sale and compliance capabilities, especially with their Bamboo Trace application, which is the best in terms of compliance. The customer service is fantastic, significantly better than other companies we've worked with like Flourish and Distru. Their CRM, Bamboo Sales, is top-notch and tailored for our industry. I love how their CSM team treats us like royalty even though we're a small/medium company. The Smart Cart feature is highly valued by our sales reps and dispensary buyers, streamlining processes across departments. It's a luxury we didn't have before, saving us easily 80-90% of our time. Their customer support is exceptional, and they promptly take our feedback. I highly recommend Bamboo, as it's superior in pricing, product, and service.
