They also have the best customer service and will work with you to meet your needs. **What do you dislike about Badger Maps?** One area for improvement would be searching for destinations not included in your saved accounts. Sometimes when planning a route, I have to add a new physician and office and the search function is just not easy or convenient to utilize in this instance. You can search by going to places and searching for the provider or office name, but I would love to see the search function improved in future updates. I would also like improvements when a stop is scheduled, and others are flexible. I set the time of meetings for any scheduled stop-by's, but when the route is optimized, it does not account for timed stopped-by's and will shuffle them in the route without considering the time. It would also be nice if the software could consider a company's hours or schedule. I occasionally use the route suggestion option, but I have offices where the provider is only at a location one or two days per week. I wish the software could recognize this information once I have updated it in the account and then, at the very least, give me an alert letting me know there could be a conflict based on the saved schedule information. **What problems is Badger Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Badger Maps helps ensure that my routes are optimized and efficient. ### 4. I very much like the mapping and route capabilities of Badger, it is customizable but you can also save the routes that you create. I needed customized fields and it took one telephone call and two hours and it was done. The "recent" tab in the accounts section does not automatically populate very quickly. And the coding glitch that I have reported is when you are putting new account information in and you don't do location last, The format for address phone or name automatically comes up in the location format. **What problems is Badger Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Once the accounts are in and entered correctly, it doesn't take very much work to plan the day, week, or month. It benefits me by not costing me very much time to do the planning that needs to be done ### 7. Very easy to use and update, and you can classify and color code according to the type of customer. The folks at Badger are fabulous, they will load your initial client list for you, and with over 300 customers it was awesome that they do this for you. **What do you dislike about Badger Maps?** Can sometimes be very sluggish while loading all customers on the map, especially in rural areas. After creating a route, it will not load the entire route into Google maps, still have to navigate to each stop one at a time. **What problems is Badger Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?** After you lasso a group of customers you want to visit, it will optimize the entire route so you are way more efficient and can see more customers per day than hunting to find each one individually. If you're starting a new sales route or job or will make finding all your customers and absolute breeze. ### 8. If I schedule a follow up, why can't I view it in the app? How am I supposed to remember that I need to follow up? Also, when in the app and looking at account details-the delete account button is in a terrible place. On a number of occasions I have accidentally pressed it when hitting either the navigate, center on map or check in button. I also wish it would auto save routes as you make them. If I make a route on my laptop and don't save it, I can't view it on my phone. We can then optimize these routes to make the most out of prospecting. As a small company, each employee's time is very valuable, and we need to make sure that we are efficient while prospecting. By being able to prospect and touch base with current clients, we get the best of both worlds and the best optimization. The autofill address function is also super helpful when adding new accounts in addition to the multitude of filters we can use to target the exact accounts we want to visit. **What do you dislike about Badger Maps?** There are some functionalities that are lacking. I wish I could choose what we filter accounts on vs being given a couple of categories seemingly at random. I also would like the pricing to be a bit more transparent. I did not realize that there was an account limit of 3000 unless we got the most expensive plan. **What problems is Badger Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Badger Maps, we used to prospect from lists by entering in each address and guessing the most efficient route. Now we can enter everything in at once and have Badger Maps find the best route. We can even add existing clients to our routes as a means of touching base with them and increasing goodwill. If I just want to view my restaurant accounts, I can just filter out only restaurants. If I want to just turn on just my November customers, it's easy. Once I complete my visit a certain customer, I can change the filter for that customer so that they won't show up on the map for another 3, 6 or 12 months in the future. I love it. **What do you dislike about Badger Maps?** I wish it integrated with invoicing programs and CRM programs seamlessly. I currently have to keep all my customers in multiple databases. I'm looking for a solution that has mapping, invoicing and CRM in one solution. **What problems is Badger Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?** I own a fire extinguisher service company. I inspect each business either once or twice per year. I try to group my inspections so that I'm in the same area each day and not hopping around Houston. With Badger, I can lasso a group of customers that are close together and turn them in to a route. Switch to an alternative GPS software (google maps) to find hotels and restaurants as that's what we normal use for that anyway. **Recommendations to others considering Badger Maps:** Don't hesitate to reach out to the support team at Badger Maps with any questions. Sadly, we didn't stick around long enough to see if there were options for customization/simplification that could have suited us better. **What problems is Badger Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?** We wanted to route 10+ stops at once to engage with the community in marketing outreach. Classic map software (like Google) have limits on the amount of stops, and you have to rearrange them on your own, versus the software optimizing the list of addresses for you. At this point I don’t see how could do my day to day field sales without it. I really love how I can upload all my leads at once then map out my day based on the area I’ll be working. I always colorize my accounts to see how long it’s been since I was last at a place. One of the best features is the check-in. It really helps to look back and see what transpired at my last visit and also the time of day I stopped by. This way if I didn’t catch a client in the morning I know to go back in the afternoon. I’ve been using Badger for over a year now and the customer service is A+. The folks at Badger are always helpful and reachable by phone or email. They also return calls. If you do outside sales, travel to see clients and haven’t used Badger, definitely give it a try. It will make your days so much easier and I have no doubt that you’ll love it. Badger is still my go to for route planning and organization. Stopped using it during the pandemic since we transitioned to working by phone but back using it being in the field again. I've tried other software like Mapview but it doesn't compare to Badger. **What do you dislike about Badger Maps?** Not much. There are way more likes than dislikes. If I had to find something I’d say they could add a feature to keep track of doors knocked, presentations done, sales made, calls made, appointments set, referrals received and the number of people spoke to. Also providing a weekly report of these numbers. These are the only metrics I track outside of the app itself. **What problems is Badger Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problems solved and the benefits realized would be organization and time saving. The app allows me to be organized with the number of leads I have, and the status of each, based on previous visits. The app saves me time in allowing me to batch upload my leads via Excel.
