The account management experience is poor, it is the worst experience of any of my current suppliers 1) They always call at 3am in the morning, ignoring the timezone I am in. The one time I picked up and asked them to email me instead of calling, they said OK, but never emailed me. 2) They always chase you for unpaid invoices, which you have actually paid 3) They don't actually send you invoices when they are SUPPOSED to send them, resulting in unknown/unpaid invoices 4) They don't respond when you email them 5) It is very hard to find a way to contact them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Backupify is easy to set up and install. Once installed, it pretty much just works. It grabs backups three times a day of data in Office 365 or Google Workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Backupify? EDIT: There is no longer "unlimited" data included. You get 100gb per user pooled across all your accounts. The interface is a little slow to respond, especially when you have a large number of customers or a large number of mailboxes. I also wish that there was support for other platforms like Dropbox or Box. Backupify does not backup data in Exchange Archive mailboxes, which generally isn't a problem unless you migrate data directly into the archive mailboxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Backupify: The price-point of Backupify makes it competitive with Google Archive mailboxes and is an easy way to keep user data without keeping an account active. The same is true for Microsoft 365 accounts, especially if the mailbox is too large to be a shared mailbox. One caveat is that data in Exchange Archive mailboxes are not backed up. This generally isn't a problem since that data usually hits the inbox first (where it is properly backed up) before it is moved to the archive box. The only issue is if you are migrating data directly into an archive mailbox, then it is never grabbed by the backup engine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. With the shared responsibility model of cloud providers, we always tell our customers that they need a backup to protect their data from themselves. My company needs to keep 7 years of records, including emails, files, etc. Backupify gives me the peace of mind that if anything was accidentally deleted locally, we would be able to use backupify to access it. It's a lightweight, straightforward cloud backup solution with an easy-to-use web interface. Restoring the backup is also very simple and quick. We can't see the backup status as fully synced. Restoring options needs to improve. There were some bugs in our portal and we didn't get any proper support from them. While it isn't a bad thing to be spartan, the functions the site does have should perform better. Running too many backups at once will crash our instance and we regularly have to reset logins. Does what it claims to do for a decent price. Very simple setup and pretty much a set and forget software. Administration is easy and really never much of an issue updating or changing settings. Also like the easy to read dashboard that is presented at login. It gives a nice overview of what is being backed up. I like that I can remove users from Google Workspace and the data will remain in Backupify indefinitely as an archive in case we ever need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Backupify? Interface is a little bit clunky and I really wish the search was a bit more robust. I really wish the search interface was modeled more after the gmail interface and included more search options for dates, attachments, and more advanced search parameters to help narrow down a search for a single item. Recommendations to others considering Backupify: Yes, It is very simple and easy to use but some of the features are lacking especially search. Backing up Google Workspace data and archiving old users in order to free up google user accounts when an employee leaves. It does this task very well. The fact that admin users are automatically backed-up. The inability to administer the admin users on the system. Error messages when deleting users. We use Backupify to maintain the emails/data of old users for retention purposes. It can save us money as we don't have to keep licenses on Google Suite alive for these users. There was a lot of features that were easy to control on your end instead of administrators. user-friendly means you are not required to wait for admins and are able to set yourself up through verification. What I like best was managing and accessing my own files without the typical admin request. Even with late submission or errors, people can make edits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. There was not enough work done around sharing files, this means all the work and data done was able to be stored but the lack of user-friendly options limits how much and how you can share. Recommendations to others considering Backupify: I always recommend having a good broadband connection so that files can upload and download smoothly without corruption and have updated software systems.
