We use Backlog as a collaboration tool with our clients when working on projects and for long-term support of our licensed products. Our team can easily organize tickets (called Issues in Backlog) by various statuses and categories. You can customize Backlog by adding new fields and edit Issue templates so you can ensure all required data is included. There is a full API to easily migrate from any existing systems over to Backlog, and also to automate processes or build custom reports. Pricing is good and supports unlimited users. **What do you dislike about Backlog?** You cannot setup custom fields and templates for the entire organization, only at the project level. Fields that are out of the box are not customizable, for example the Priority field. This makes setting up new projects more tedious than it needs to be, and can result in some workarounds being required to meet organization needs. Comments in issues cannot be sorted or filtered in any meaningful way. It would be nice to see the most recent comments on top, but instead you must scroll to the bottom.
