"Task management with backlog becomes very simple"

What do you like best about Backlog?

I can create task within one minute with backlog. I write what’s the work and assign it to developer and mention deadline and set priority like high, medium, low. If the task is too big then we can break it into subtasks and assign them. The best thing is status update i can see on which task developer is working and which one is open, in progress or completed. I can attach files like screenshots and doc and pdf drag and drop feature is very helpful and saves time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Backlog?

What problems is Backlog solving and how is that benefiting you?

My role is doing task management in my team. Before backlog its too difficult to handle everything after using backlog i feel like half tension gone. I just open backlog create task and assign to my team member and menstion due date. If its too big task then I break in 2-3 subtasks and assign it to many users. I can check everything what’s going on the projects. I get email notifications. Comment section helps very much everyone to understand things. Drag and drop helps alot and saves time. "Easy for everyone"

What do you like best about Backlog?

I am QA in my organisation and i use backlog every day for report bug. Before backlog, I was writing bugs on Excel but now we use backlog it has many features like bug reporting and comment section in tasks. Notification also come when someone write or update the task. I am working as QA in current organisation and my job is to find bug and make ticket and assign it to developers. Before using this we use excel but now we using backlog and my hectic life become easy. Now i just create task attach screenshot and assign to developer. They see it fast and comment also. "Tool thats ahead of time"

What do you like best about Backlog?

Resource management and time tracking is the feature or quality of the tool that I like the most. Resources working on each project is easy to manage and track their progress. This is less time consuming and I can track the progress of each resource and provide the consolidated updates to the client. Backlog plays the essential role in my work nowadays. It provide me the ability to manage my work in such a manner that I don't have to do manual work and takes less efforts. "Easy for new users"

What do you like best about Backlog?

The best thing about this software is its simple design and easy for new users like when i joined this company I am very new to this and i easily adapt all the things because its my first time when i have to report bugs via bug tracker software. When i joined this company, This was the first time when i started using bug tracking software but thankgod it was very easy to use this software. My current company has two more companies where they started using this software when they found that this software is very good for everyone then they invited us. We are using this software for last 1-2years. We have team of more than 1000+ members who use this software. It helps my team and our whole company to achieve goals. My work also becomes less after using this. I can easily assign bugs to team and tell them which is more important and which is on high priority. "Significant impact on development"

What do you like best about Backlog?

I like this tool due to its easy features and easy to understand UI. It helps me track my own task. I can checklist my task and mark or label if those aredone or still needs to be picked. This tool gives the ability to break the big task to small tasks to track the progress. Further these subtasks can be picked by any team member according to the bandwidth. My manager is happy to track my task and there progress on the dashboard. He doesn't want to bother me each our that helps me to work on my ongoing task dedicatedly. I save a lot of time by avoiding unnessecery meetings regarding updates and consume that time in completing my task. "Great project handling software"

What do you like best about Backlog?

We love it because it have easy UI. You just click and drag and drop and your work is done. You can create new project add your team and start working. Due dates is also a got feature in this. On dashboard I can analys my tasks, how many are done and how many are pending. On which task my team mates are working on can also be seen. I update my code as soon as I see some new updates from my team mates on the dashboard. This tool helps me a lot as I don't have to update each senior person individually and just drop my updates on the task. "Powerful tool for QA's"

What do you like best about Backlog?

I use this tool for bug tracking, I am QA in the current organization so my work is to assign bugs to other members. My main role is to manage bugs and tasks in projects. I can comment on bugs and even attach screenshots of the bugs. Even you can create your own custom status for bugs like open, in progress, closed and resolved. Backlog is helpful for my team it solve many problems which we face while creating the project for our clients. I want to share some main problems which we face and how its helping me. Before using this we forget to some bugs but now i dont forget any bugs even after one month i can check previous bugs which are assigned via backlog. I dont need to ask devlopers that bug is resolved or not. I can open the project and easily check whats going on the project how many bugs are resolved or how many are in progress and how much are closed. "Track work easily with backlog"

What do you like best about Backlog?

The best thing i like about Backlog If user is not expert in computer it can also use this tool without any confusion. I can create task and bugs very quick. The bug tracking feature is very helpful because I can report bug, assign it to developer and track their status in one place. we can talk and share ideas in comments of any task and bug without other chat. I also like the Gantt chart because it show project timeline and helps me plan work accordingly. Reports and charts help me see project progress and team performance. It is solving my problems like I can create task for every task and assign it. The comments inside task and bugs helps my team discuss problem and solution. Notifications tell me when new bug reported or task is updated. We also use file upload feature to share screenshots and documents for the bugs, so developer understand the problem better. Backlog help team to work together and reduce mistakes and finish projects on time. It save time and make team communication smooth. For me, Backlog is very useful for track work and bug tracking Even notification system update me when task or bug change me and my team don’t miss anything important. It's very easy to use.

I can see all work in one place.

I can comment on the tasks.

When we started to use this tool everything changed. Tool is easy to use and understand. Non technical can work with backlog without any problem. I can create new tasks fast with this tool and give task to the developer and set due date so everyone know when we have to complete these tasks and also set priority if some tasks are more important than other tasks. In backlog i can see all task in one place. It also shows status like not started, in progress and done. So I can easily know what work is completed and what is still pending. "Good Project management tool with developer friendly UI"

What do you like best about Backlog?

Backlog is a really helpful tool for managing projects, especially if you're working with a tech team. It connects well with Git, so we can link code changes straight to tasks, which saves time. The layout is simple and easy to understand, even for someone new. It's great for tracking tasks, planning work, and using visual boards to see progress clearly. Setting it up was quick, and it works smoothly with the tools we already use. Customer support has been good whenever we had questions. What do you dislike about Backlog?

While Backlog is useful, there are a few things that can be better. Some parts of the tool are not easy to find, so the ease of use could be improved, especially for new or non-technical users. Even though the implementation was not too hard, it still took time for everyone on the team to get used to it. There are many features, but sometimes it feels like too much when you only need the basics - so the number of features can feel overwhelming. We use it frequently, but wish there were more options to customise it to our workflow. The integration with Git is great, but there are not enough built-in connections with other tools we use.
