It’s easy to deploy and easy to manage. The restore process is straightforward, and it restores almost everything in the list.

Sometimes one job, or even multiple jobs, fail. In most cases it doesn’t seem related to the backbox itself, but it still takes time to resolve.

integration can be improved; this is the only improvement I can suggest rest everything seems to be a good.

Backup is main issue every IT organisation facing this time and BackBox is the one of the best tool that provide backup support which reduce cost of IT.

I like the technical support of BackBox, it is good technical support. I also appreciate the automation of processes and the web UI.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

Some types of fighwords, particularly those related to the checkpoint sale, make it a bit more difficult to set up automatic backups.

I use BackBox for automatic backup storage and I receive notifications and alerts if a backup fails.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

BackBox has helped to automate our intricate deployment pipelines. I particularly like that it can unify dissimilar systems and our release process became incredibly smooth. Another advantage of the agent-based automation is the ability to execute tasks on designated servers that is invaluable to our old applications.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

Although BackBox is not lightweight, the initial configuration was somewhat overwhelming to our smaller team. More ready-built automation templates of frequently used cybersecurity operations would also be of interest to me to accelerate the initial adoption. Once in a while, to find the path to the specific setting, one might have to dig through documentation.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our manual security configuration was giving us trouble all over our expanding cloud. BackBox has earned us a much improved security posture and helped us to eliminate misconfigurations. We can now roll-out uniform security policies in new settings much more quickly.

I appreciate the ease of use and the functional richness of BackBox. The installation is very simple and intuitive, and it took me less than 2 days to master the solution. The ease with which my client can back up and reinject Fortinet and Cisco configurations after an incident is remarkable.

The solution is not well known enough, so customers think it's a 'nice to have'.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

Sase products and services are being supported started with Meraki. Product is now pushing itself for automation and integrity services. Backward compatibility with existing products is a plus in new releases. Support team is enthusiastic for additional devices to be supported. Number of new CVEs supported in the system has been increased throughout the latest updates.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

AI related capabilities are not seen in the product. Main Sase vendors are still not supported. There's no cloud or marketplace deployment where we can utilize additional monitoring scenarios. Incident management and proper alerting mechanisms can not be conducted throughout the system.

**Recommendations to others considering BackBox:**

It's an all-in one solution. Please don't think very complicated. Just install it on the VM. with the required resources. It needs storage. Use the backbox in all automation cases ad think like secops guy. Time is money. Automation is the future. Purchase in a bundle and get the license for all planned integrated devices, the discount rate differs ifor the number of devices.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have strict rules and security regulations,, and compliance requirements for the operational management of security devices. Backbox solves the regulation and compliances requirements. Automation is a must for security devices in terms of operation and security. We use backbox as the main gateway for automation. Upgrades, rollbacks and scripting operations are all conducted through  backbox. Access solution is very easy to deploy and cost effective

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

I use BackBox for taking device backups and scheduling them, which helps in saving manual efforts and reducing the risk of missing backups due to human errors. I also find it valuable for developing auto scripts to upload files on multiple boxes and for device OS upgrades. Additionally, it's useful for rectifying policies on devices.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

Sometimes, BackBox is not user-friendly for the operation guys. I don't know why, but they feel it is very clumsy. It could be simplified or made more interactive.

I use BackBox for capturing device backups, scheduling them to save manual effort and avoid missed backups due to human error. It helps us with device OS upgrades and policy rectifications, making operations smoother.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

I especially like the proactive drift detection BackBox. It makes us immediately aware that our setup has become compromised in any way that does not correspond to our provided security templates, in any configuration that may go on to cause a problem. To give an example, it recently alerted us to a minor ACL change on a key router which passed our change control and we were able to roll it back. Such watchfulness brings us so much peace.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

In its generality, the reporting features may be more granular in customization options with respect to specific audit requests. Sometimes deployments of bigger scripts on hundreds of devices may take too long to implement in parallel which may not be optimal. It was more of a steep learning curve so that our junior staff could tap into the maximum capability of its scripting language at the beginning.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest difficulty we faced was in ensuring a uniform security posture of all our heterogeneous network devices without manually intervening it on a continual basis. We had issues keeping all our firewalls, switches and routers, to comply with our latest hardening instructions. BackBox now automates validation and fix of configuration mismatch with our golden images. This has changed our audit ready position of an urgent scramble to a gradual progress serene process and our compliance overhead has been greatly cut.

I don't find something which I dislike.
I'ts working properly.

We have many devices which needed to be backed up. Backbox solved us a lot of problems.
I'm more productive since I don't have to handle backups. I aggree and add the it helps up manage all sorts of devices which do not complaient with our backup system.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

The most attractive thing about BackBox is its outstanding flexibility within client networks which as it may turn out to be a cross-vendor relationship or even older pieces of hardware. It has a regular interface to control devices that formerly involved hopping around a half a dozen native tools. The pre flight checks that are built in, before anything is pushed is also something we adore, so many accident issues are saved in our diverse environments.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

Though robust, tracking individual historical alterations or configurations within the deep audit trails can be a bit cumbersome and sometimes you have to have the exact search terms. Creating some very complex, multi step custom automations from scratch can also require a bit more of a learning curve than basic tasks. On top of that, making some of the out of the box reports provide unique client facing metrics isn’t as straightforward as it should be.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest challenge was keeping our dozens of client networks up and running in a consistent, quality manner; every network had a unique mixture of network devices of different ages and of different manufacturers. Recruitment of new engineers brought about a high process where it took a long time to introduce them to the specific requirements of individual clients which was highly uneffective. With the BackBox implementation we are now able to make standardized configuration backups and health checks consistent across all client environments and irrespective of the hardware the systems are running on. This has really simplified service delivery to us and minimising knowledge transfer burden to new employees.

Also not only the backups, the machine has the ability to execute scripts that are helping us to get a specific output from our devices and save them n csv and review them later.

To be honest, I am using the machine for like 7-8 years and I have never came across a downside of backbox.

Backbox saved a lot of headache of creating scripts to backup our core device, getting outputs from those devices, and also monitoring if changes has been done to those devices.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

BackBox is a real champ in the arena of validating automatically conformity of our configuration against our own policy templates. It is invaluably convenient that we do not have to manually monitor the use of a device and that it automatically notifies us when an unapproved service or one of the non-standard security banners appears on it. The combined credential management to achieve secure access to network devices is something we also love a lot as that means our engineers can no longer have direct access to every single device which offers a major benefit to our internal control. Adding a new network device, such as a switch, to our managed environment is also very easy, which means that every new addition to a clinic network would immediately adhere to the security baselines we set in our environment.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

Hard set reporting templates on compliance artifacts are slightly inflexible as originating templates have to first be reformatted manually before they can be given to outsiders auditing firms. We have discovered that it is quite fussy to build highly specific, nests of configuration validation rules so they can be a little more than what you might want to get done in almost general policy execution. Moreover, the historical change timeline would surely be improved by having better filtering capabilities; identifying a slight change to a device that occurred a year ago can be a quest.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The major issue which BackBox solved with us was that it was simply impossible to confirm that network devices were configured according to our seriously strict healthcare regulatory policies everywhere our distributed-environment was deployed. Periodic manual spot checks or audit request by individual device managers used to be the norm, but this was not effective enough to pick up important deviations. BackBox currently offers an on-going automatic checking of our baselines. This has the effect of allowing us to immediately identify when a device is not in compliance, such as having an unnecessary port active on a patient data network switch, effectively cutting down the time we need to prepare and take audit as well as our exposure to risk. It has provided us concrete assurance of the integrity of our network.

Perhaps the biggest drawback is the lack of documentation about the application. However, it is true that they have a good technical service that gets involved and responds to any problem that arises.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

What I really appreciate about BackBox is how it comes ready to go straight out of the box. I dont have to spend hours compiling or configuring individual tools anymore. All the common penetration testing utilities are already there and categorized logically which saves a ton of time during assessments. It also runs surprisingly well even when booted from a USB stick which is great for quick engagements.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

Sometimes updating BackBox can feel a bit clunky and take longer than expected. It is not always clear which package sources are the most reliable for specific tools. Also the community support for very specific or niche issues can be harder to find compared to more general purpose Linux distributions. A wider range of hardware drivers preinstalled would sometimes be helpful for older systems.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before BackBox, getting ready for a security assessment was a real headache. I used to spend so much time installing individual tools making sure they were compatible and troubleshooting all the different software versions. It felt like I was building a custom toolbox from scratch every single time which was incredibly frustrating and inefficient. Now with BackBox I just boot it up and everything I need is right there perfectly configured and ready to go. It has dramatically streamlined my workflow letting me focus on the actual testing not the setup.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

I also like the large catalog of the pre-installed security tools. This will preserve me a lot of time that I would otherwise spend on downloading and setting up single applications. With an example of it, I can easily initiate network scan or can instantly invoke web application test. The other huge advantage is the intuitive way of the categories these tools have been organized. It is so easy to locate specific programs such as crackers of password or forensic tools. BackBox is real worth when it comes to the simplification of the first installation steps of a security expert.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

The tool updates included in BackBox are sometimes too slow compared to my desires. This will sometimes imply that I have to manually revise some of my applications in order to have the latest features or definition of vulnerability. Also it is feature rich though requirements on system resources may be a little excessive on older machines. The learning curve of getting started in using Linux may be a little steep on the first go for a new user who does not have Linux experience. It would be also nice to have a slight smaller footprint of installation.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem BackBox helps one get rid of is the pain of creating an entire security testing environment, scratch. Prior to using BackBox, I would use to consume hours in order to download tools one by one without resolving their dependencies and configure manually. It was aggravating and wastage of so much precious time before commencement of the actual security assessment. I can simply boot-up BackBox now and I have all the tools I need to perform penetration testing right at my fingertips. It implies that I will have time to direct attention to the assessment of weaknesses and defense reinforcements immediately. It increases both my efficiency and enables me to carry out assessments much quicker and more accurately.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

I like BackBox a lot because of its unbelievable automation features. It eliminates a lot of human labor. As another syteme, performing backups of our network devices every night is a large burden relieved by the automation of the task. This guarantees that we can always put back a recent setting in case anything happens to go awry. The compliance reporting is also simplified thus making the audits much less painful. We have the ability to rapidly retrieve reports of device hardness of our total infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

Advanced automation design may take a bit of steep learning curve on BackBox. Its user interface is slightly clunky or perhaps not as intuitive as it might be. Occasionally, we may need to encounter small bugs following updates and these may be irritating. Interfacing with truly specialized or out-dated devices also often needs custom scripting. Not every situation is a cured plug and play.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our activities were to do a regular backup and configuration checking and would take hours per week. It was easy to make a mistake which could not always be traced. Today, BackBox does all that vital work automatically on our behalf. It carries out regular back-ups every night, and it imposes our security policies actively. This leaves our staff free to work on strategic projects rather than on routine tasks.

The product is easy to use. It has flexibility to taylor jobs to our needs and very good support helpdesk. We use Backbox daily for backups and run jobs for various automated tasks.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

Training availability would help so we can create and modify jobs ourselves.

Backups are available to use if we need them. We automated our Check Point patching process to run from Backbox so we don't need to do it manually. We run configurations changes on multiple devices using scripts from Backbox.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

What I really like about BackBox is how much time it saves us, especially with automation and backups. Being able to schedule device configuration backups automatically across hundreds of network devices is absolutely critical for quick recovery – before, we had to script it manually or rely on engineers remembering. The automation features are also powerful; pushing out configuration changes or running scripts across a large number of switches or firewalls now takes minutes instead of hours of manual CLI work. It significantly reduces the chance of human error on repetitive tasks.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

BackBox can feel a bit complex during the initial setup phase, especially if you have a really diverse mix of legacy and modern network gear. While it supports tons of vendors, sometimes getting specific or older device types fully integrated for all features requires a bit more fine-tuning or custom scripting than you'd ideally want out-of-the-box. The user interface, while functional, isn't always the most intuitive or modern compared to some newer tools on the market.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BackBox primarily solves the huge pain point of manual, time-consuming, and error-prone network device management. Before BackBox, we’d spend ages manually backing up device configs or logging into dozens of boxes to push out a simple change, which was inefficient and risky. Now, backups are automated and reliable, meaning if a device config gets messed up, we can restore it in minutes instead of hours. It frees up our network team from repetitive tasks so they can focus on planning and improving the network infrastructure itself.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

I particularly like the fact how BackBox re-establishes an irrefutable log of all network traffic. There is no price you can put on it to our smaller team as it allows our newer engineers to confidently perform tricky tasks on a network. Another example is when we wish to make an update to a firewall rule on a subnet at which point the platform checks syntax and validates what is to be altered is valid before ever touching the machine, eliminating much guess work. This implies that our senior engineers will be in a position to delegate more without close supervision.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

It might get somewhat more complex, over time, to produce custom integrations of very narrow purposes of network hardware. The work involves a certain in-house expertise to create such definitions up from scratch. Easy to use and very easy to implement. It gives direct value after the integration.  Must have features already implied in the solution. Extensive line of supported features. Support is awesome. We have been using for more than 5 years. Support team is always enthusiastic for new features and problems to be solved.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

It's good features built in. However it's lacking in terms of new capabilities like AI-Copilot. Automation should be built with its own language which is the same as OS scripts. There's no Saas version of the solution hence I see the solution more legacy but we're satisfied.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Backup and recovery is the main problem we''re solving through this solution.  Once you setup the integration and schedule the job, it's working without any issue. Automation works fine. We have other enterprise automation solutions like Ansible-Soar etc. Most cases instead of using the large automation enterprise solutions; we use backbox as it's easy to configure, maintain and stable. For general tasks like patching and upgrade of integrated devices, Backbox does a good job.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

Application automation really differentiates BackBox, especially for the mundane tasks of backs and updates for network gear. I have also got it tied into ServiceNow and our firewall systems and it was super simple set up. I revert all the time by simply amending one, to safely test those config changes, I know I can press few keys and get that config change back, immediately. This has added a lot of smoothness to my workflow and reduced our manual effort that we used to do.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

The one thing that really bugs me about BackBox, however, is its lack of flexibility in its reports. However, the default ones might not always provide us the answers we are looking for, especially during our audits. But most of the time, our first action is to export data, to build our own reports manually which consume more time than it should and breaks the automation flow we have for the rest of the platform.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BackBox aided in mitigating manual procedures in the management of the organization’s network. Every once in a while we used to spend quite a lot of time in backups and firmware update and many of them work on their own these days. To details, it can assist to identify misconfigurations faster. That’s helped to make our environment much more stable and decreased number of outages, which is highly valuable to our operations team.

The covering feature of BackBox is its reducing to maintain the network stability by reducing the configuration mishaps. Having the automatic backup process has been extremely helpful, as we will never lose critical settings from an issue that we can’t anticipate. Also, another key feature that they possess is the change tracking feature, that lets us see changes, and keep a better control over system changes. The lack of downtime and the safe, timely maintenance and security of our network environment has been greatly realized by these capabilities.

The problem with BackBox is that some network devices do not require the usual customization before backups work smoothly. We’ve have to manually set some of these settings up as we didn’t transfer perfectly in some settings. The documentation is on the whole reliable, but not as detailed when troubleshooting backup errors. The result of having to trial and error device configurations new devices takes some extra time in the setup process.

There has been no shortage of occasions when BackBox came in handy when recovering from configuration mistakes. Rather than spend numerous hours attempting to rebuild more settings after making a blunder we can just fetch a former reinforcement and keep going. One of the best features of BackBox is that it can automate network backups for multiple devices. The network management becomes more predictable and prone less to human error. The logs it generates after each backup are very deep and very useful for troubleshooting. The most notable attribute about BackBox is how we can ensure consistency in all network devices. We have an automated process that keeps everything aligned and instead of having to manually backup configurations or getting tripped up by not having something in the particular timeframe, it saves that work. This cuts out human error and prevents our security policies from being tampered with. It has also come in handy due to the ability to instantly escape to a previous configuration when unexpected issues arise, which saves for hours of troubleshooting.

The main frustrating part about BackBox is that when it can’t backup the same way across vendors sometimes a restore gets complicated. BackBox is the most valuable offering in terms of the capability to automatically back up various network devices and systems. It integrates really well with our other network management tools and we don’t now need to manually track or schedule any backups. One thing we’ve realized is that we can now do strategic things and let automation handle the mundane backup work. Additionally, it’s nice to be able to monitor everything you have in all in one centralised dashboard.

There are some problems with BackBox, and one of these is of the setup type, which may take time to get through especially for those with little knowledge on network backup. The documentation is rather slightly confused at some points so that the persons who are going to use the application for the first time will have some problems to get started. I like most BackBox’s proactive approach to its backup management. The software itself doesn’t just automate the backups, it automatically updates them regularly without us needing to do anything. It’s especially useful if you’re managing lots of systems and also helps minimize the chance of backup failures. I also like that it eases my mind over the status of backups, by reminding me about it. With BackBox I know our systems are always protected.

One problem I have with BackBox is that it does not always optimize the backup function for all the devices in the same way. Naturally, when it comes to some of the older systems, the overall setup can seem somewhat complicated. What I find most appealing in BackBox is the capacity of running network devices backup in an automated way. As for the integrated tools, it is fully compatible with the existing network management tools which simplifies its setup and installation process. Oh yeah, it performs compliance audits regularly – a plus that guarantees our security. The usability level is high and therefore we spend less time at capturing the routine work and more time on unique challenges.

The biggest disadvantage that can be pointed at BackBox is that the reporting options should be more flexible. At times I have a little challenge in producing report exactly as i wish with the contents which can sometimes hamper the auditing session. Further, like practically in all the tools, its interface is rather easy to use but it seems to be a bit outdated as it is not as user friendly as it could sometimes appear. Some of these are minor but can be problematic; they cause time inefficiencies particularly where I am busy.

The thing I like most about BackBox is that it automates network backups and server configuration management. It saves us time by taking away those manual processes and helping with compliance because we can track the change so we know we’re secure and up to date. With the integration with SolarWinds, we are now able to monitor and manage networks better. We also use it to help reduce downtime during maintenance periods allowing us to maintain smooth operations without disruption.

I dislike BackBox for its outdated user interface which makes it hard to navigate from one place to another. Besides, the reporting features are really limited because they can’t be customized to specific requirements. The best thing about BackBox is how it virtualizes the network and device backups. It guarantees that we have our up to date configurations stored safely so when we have to deal with outages or upgrades, we can have our configs down. Very flexibility and reporting feature enable to know system health. That we integrate it with our network monitoring tools, which makes troubleshooting faster, not to mention more efficient.

Handling very large scale networks sometimes becomes difficult for BackBox. During a longer backup operations, our system slows down and reduces productivity at critical maintenance windows. While there are many other scheduler out there, BackBox is unique for it’s automation and robust scheduling features. Once it has been configured, we never need to think about missing backups or not having configured to do regular ones. Since we can rely on it without constant oversight, it has become indispensable to always keep our network devices protected. It is also flexible given our multi device environment due to its wide device compatibility.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

BackBox is generally not bad, just the backup of large or old devices can take longer than you expect. This particularly shows when network connections are slow, thereby delaying complete backup process. A drawback is without that detail to report what error was made, troubleshooting becomes that much harder when something breaks while performing the backup. The interface could also be a little bit more intuitive for new users, which would make it a bit easier to manage backups.

I must say, BackBox, in my opinion, the best feature is how it deals with the scheduling of the backup and restore features simplifying our network efficiency. The scheduling capabilities and detailed logging are useful to keep us informed on all the work done, and increase transparence for the disaster recovery. This is advantageous as it ensures we are always ready for any unravelled problem in the networks for we are just a click away from reconfiguring them.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

I’ve noticed one disadvantage that is implemented in BackBox, concerning reporting – it is not very flexible and not very detailed as well. This has made it difficult for us to produce fine grained data for our analysis, hampering our capacities to monitor trends and detect issues within the network backlog. Increased flexibility in reporting values would be a great advantage for monitoring recovery efficiency and dealing with new problems.

With BackBox, the bane of manual and inconsistent network backups is effectively solved by automating the whole process. This has taken out the risk of human error and makes sure that we don't lose our network configs either now or in the future. Having automated the process has freed up a lot of time as a benefit that allows us to devote more time to more strategic projects and has also increased our readiness in terms of compliance with consistent back up scheduling.

It should focus on implementing AI capabilities along with SASE vendor support.

Backup of firewall, routers, and WAF logs. Also web proxy data. Creating scripts makes the backup process easy and it is fully automated, so you don't have to worry much.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

The most useful feature that I got from BackBox is its ability to provide a means of making automatic backups and performing recoveries on network devices. Which makes scheduling of backups and control of device configurations easy and since we can integrate it with our network management tools – these tasks are not a headache. This automation has helped to lessen some of the work being done by hand as well as increase our system recovery time.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

A weakness of BackBox is that the first steps of its configuration might be somewhat lengthy especially when it comes to configuration of other network appliances. Furthermore, although the software components of the system afford rather high levels of dependability, we sometimes face difficulties in restoring data and business continuity, which take a toll on our operations. These issues have led to more work in terms of troubleshooting and short term disruptions in operation.

The issue of having to perform extensive manual backup and configuration, which has been our routine, has been eliminated by BackBox and this has improved our network operations. These means of automation have resulted to improved backup dependability and quick back up recovery with reduced human input. From it, we have been able to witness an overall improvement in our efficiency as the networks problems are well addressed in time.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

For us, BackBox’s most desirable offerings are the automated network device backups and recovery. These capabilities have significantly reduced the time we take to perform manual tasks and more importantly they have developed our network configurations to be very secure. The software works with other softwares and became one of our vital component of supporting IT. The reporting features are also well developed and provide us with extensive information on our network’s activity and availability.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

BackBox does have some disadvantages, however the most notable one would be the tedious process of installation of the software. The process of configuring it took much more time than needed, and this is why the deployment took time as well. Furthermore, although the software is rather effective, there is a limited ability to customize the program and make changes to its settings. These are some of the weaknesses that we have been experiencing in our network management leading to additional time to adapt the configurations within the software.

Regarding the key issues, BackBox has eliminated a tedious and error prone task of making network device backups manually. We have also enhanced the automation function to increase efficiency in our operations and minimize on set back such as system break down. The software also has report and alert features which have assisted us effectively monitor and maintain the health of the network. Instead of spending time on administrative work, our team can now dedicate more time to other tasks, which improves efficiency overall.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

One click backup and restore is most helpful for DR purposes and when network hardware abrupty stops working. Restoring from factory reset replacement is a breeze with vendor agnostic and able to help with most configuration backup/restore.

Automation for network patching starting from pre & post validation to running entire software upgrade process.

Automating tedious tasks like changing administrator passwords or saving a command output such as show inventory on cisco devices from 10s of devices is a breeze.

Implementation of backbox is very simple and the compatibility with various major hypervisor vendors and cloud providers is good to see.

The team behind backbox is very passionate in supporting through the journey of onboarding and day 2 support as well.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

Needs more out of box templates for automations.

Building out automations can be tricky even though it doesnt use python code or anything like that and just simple CLI-based commands.

**What problems is BackBox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Backup and restore of configurations irrespective of vendor/OEM. This helps in Disaster Recovery situations, in case of hardware failure and to stare/compare configurations if an issue occurred due to any config change.

**What do you like best about BackBox?**

For me, BackBox’s greatest strength is its robust backup and disaster recovery options. Having the backup process automated is by far one of the biggest advantages for us when it comes to data protection. Furthermore, the interface of the tool is simple, therefore the setup and configuration of backup schedules are fast. This has been very helpful and time saving and assure our important data is safe and easily retrievable. The simple layout is easy for me to navigate and allows me to run things with little difficulty and without additional training.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

The mobile app of BackBox has some limitations, for instance, a not very convenient one is when it comes to managing or even monitoring backups from a distance. This can to some extent cause inconvenience when one needs to check backup status or initiate a recovery from a mobile platform. Besides, the app may sometimes take time to load or respond and that in a time of crisis is very inconcomical. Sometimes, these limitations are encountered in the mobile app have sometimes limited the way protective backups are undertaken while offsite.

BackBox finds the problem of data backups management and offers an efficient automated solution. This change has greatly improved the integrity of our data as well as sped up the process of data retrieval meaning that there are reduced chances of data loss and less downtime. The time has been freed up by automation and since then we have focused on other tasks. I noticed that after adopting the use of BackBox my team has really benefited especially in organizing and safeguarding our data.

The most unique aspect of BackBox has to do with the production and restoration of backup copies of network devices. It is efficient for backup management to devices such as firewalls, routers and switches, reducing the amount of backup work that is performed manually. This automation is beneficial for time saving and eradicating errors possible within the network by having secure and easily restorable configurations for enhancing system stability.

**What do you dislike about BackBox?**

However, BackBox has a drawback that is quite noticeable and that is that its user interface is somewhat complicated and not very easy to use. This can sometime make it hard for the new users to make the settings and manage the backup and consequently the process will take time. Further, it lacks flexibility in scheduling of backup as it provides very few options for setting the frequency and duration of backup. These factors can lead to some inefficiencies and distort the way we work under normal circumstances.

Through its capabilities of automation, BackBox is an efficient method in addressing the problem in managing backup of network devices manually. It deals with backup of important aspects like firewalls and routers without the need for much input from us, thereby minimizing errors while at the same time being time saving. This automation guarantees the retrieval and restoration of our accurate configurations, thus improving our operations and the certainty that our network is secure and robust.
