What do you like best?
A fast GUI provides quick access to a range of tools, with a PPA option for existing Ubuntu users. Features some good cloud penetration testing services. Another great thing is that the online community is very active and you will find easy, quick solutions for most problems that any newcomer may face. Lot of stuff out of the box. Perfect for day to day use and network testing purposes. Stable and customizable. Fast boot up. What makes their forum cool is that the admin is open for tools request. What do you dislike?
Some tools need a bit of tweaking, while there’s little to differentiate the package from other live CDs. Some of the tools are not simple for beginners to adapt to and learn about. I wish the user interface was more universal, similar to Ubuntu. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?
Its amazing tool. Real time dynamic inventory information. Wonderful to see the network virtualization. It has amazing backup and recovery features. It is rich with the features like backup , Configuration Management and data security. It is not only limited to this it has asset management It mangement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike?
As of now I dont have point to dislike it. I am just loving this product and would suggest other companies who are need of such type of product for network monitoring and for data security. This is the best tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?
It is a powerful tool. Light weight, but very effective. Makes us our backup job very easy. The catchy dashboard given in landing page. the dashboard is able to drill down which is very good feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike?
Unable to filter multiple devices at a time in the devices page. Most of the times, the application doesnt allow me to log in. then the log in possible only when we log in through incognito mode. I have made several tickets to the team but the issue continues to exist though the executives say the issue is fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?
The system is very easy to use, the support is very usefull when required.
New features added all over and customer requests is their top priority.
Knowing that my devices are backedup, and getting reports for it is very usefull.

What do you like best?
The authentication templating, allowing one record of users/passwords. When the passwords for devices are rolled over for security reasons, there is only a single location for updating these passwords within Backbox.
Backbox supports a large number of products that are being run. Not only the Cisco networking equipment, but Check Point firewalls, Cisco Firewalls, FortiGate firewalls, and Cisco Unified Communication software such as Call Manager and UCCE.
The ability to view the backups, meaning that you can pull specific lines of configuration out of an old backup, and use that to revert configuration that has changed, or alternatively as a base template for either replacement or additional devices.
The Backup retention is a useful feature that allows a larger amount of granularity when reverting config changes - If the config has changed a while ago, and only just been picked up, the solution allows us to revert to an older copy, before the config change was made.
The scheduling allows tiers of devices to be backed up on different schedules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike?
Although the Interface was originally clunky, in the older versions, the interface in the newer versions is much more usable.
Some products require pushing backups to BackBox, as opposed to BackBox pulling the backup from the appliance, meaning that it relies on the backup configuration of the appliance itself. This works against the idea of having backup configurations in a single location, and means that you have to ensure that all the appliances are configured correctly. When appliances are replaced, the backup settings on the new appliances have to be configured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?
Backbox is compatible with a very large number of brands and devices which allow us to backup everything as network/security devices.
We appreciate the possibility to use authentication template which avoid typing username / password for each device each time we change the password. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike?
The fact that to fetch a backup, you need to go on the "Device History" tab on the Device which is not so logical Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

i love how the product looks and works,
saving allot of time for performing backups,
