It synchronizes master data and automates transaction flows between legal entities and subsidiaries, so groups can work across companies without manual double entry. It is built for small and medium-sized organizations, especially international groups, that run several SAP Business One company databases. B1 InterCompany is developed by Boyum IT Solutions, a software company founded in Denmark in 1997. Boyum IT builds solutions for businesses running SAP Business One and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and serves more than 15,000 customers in over 130 countries through a network of more than 1,100 certified partners. When one company sells to another within the same group, the same transaction has to be recorded in both databases. B1 InterCompany creates the mirrored documents automatically and keeps shared master data consistent. Key features include: - Master data synchronization for items, business partners, BOMs, price lists, payment terms, user-defined fields, and more - Automated document flows that create mirrored sales orders, purchase orders, deliveries, invoices, and credit memos between companies - Predefined transaction flows for drop-ship with and without stock, warehouse-to-warehouse transfers, invoice-to-invoice, and credit memo-to-credit memo - Financial consolidation with synchronization of chart of accounts and journal entries across subsidiaries - A relationship map that traces linked documents across companies, plus cross-company stock lookup and Available-to-Promise reporting - Notifications on synchronized events, an error log with rerun capability, and a full audit trail With intercompany transactions handled automatically, finance and operations teams spend less time on manual entry and reconciliation and get real-time visibility into flows and document status across the group.
