Azure makes it simple to migrate your onprem sites to the cloud. It is also very cost effective since you will not need to spin up a costly VM to run your apps. One possible downside would be that Azure only supports certain application configurations so if your app isn't supported you will need to either re-write the app or run it on a VM.
