What do you like best about Azure SQL Database?

What do you dislike about Azure SQL Database?

The cost associated with Azure DB servie though is on a on demand model, can be quite high depending on the data volume being stored on cloud. But it should not be aconcern for someone managing data with budget for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure SQL Database solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to Azure SQL DB, we had the data on prem and it was hadache to constanctlypatch the SQL servers and maintain them. Adding memory to them on need basis is also a manual effort , adn the cost associated with maintianing was too high. Azure SQL DB solved all problems with a single solution to give me a highly scalable, maintained and flexible workspace for all my data needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fully managed, right from fast writing/reading to core scaling to backups everything is natively built with strong native security. The best thing is the ability to scale UP/Down as demanded by application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure SQL Database?

Earlier, we were using the SQL database on our servers, that time we were managing all the stuff like permissions, access policies and networking with multiple platforms which was taking too much time to manage all the things. It's very wide, it offers a lot of services especially for web development. You can set up your own website, it has devops processes, app services, app logics. You can also buy your own custom domain and host your app files and a lot more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
