Azure SQL is based on the SQL Server framework, so all my SQL works well in the Azure SQL environment (even though I develop on a local SQL Server). As of spring of 2023, you can't bulk-buy (via reservations) Azure SQL capacity on Azure. If we had this option, it'd close the gap via cheaper options. I still chose Azure SQL over Postgres though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since it hosted over Azure cloud, it possess all the qualities of cloud like high availability, automatic backups, scalability etc.

Azure SQL Database is a PaaS offering from MS Azure which means Microsoft handles the underlying infrastructure, updates etc., which allows us to focus on customizing the database similar to our on-prem database. Learning Azure and its offerings, like Azure SQL Database, is a steep curve, mainly if we are unfamiliar with cloud concepts. there are a few stuff i dislike about azure like the cost of the paid versions features, complexity wrt to alternatives like aws n gcp. Also the documentation is little bit complex which makes it bit hard to learn for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

i like the best in azure rds flexbility in depolyment as compare to aws it give good flexibility make benifiet of our application and now they also good secuirty feature and its bit less price as compare to aws but in the scalibilty part it costly but in the avg we can choose for averge organisation.
