There are no downsides to using Azure because technology is rapidly evolving and we will all migrate to the cloud in the near future. But, MS should put in place a solid security system to ensure invulnerable service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure SQL Database solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a consultant, we receive inquiries from many clients about moving data to the cloud in order to extend their product team, and we see migration as the most difficult challenge, but Azure has made it simple. What do you like best about Azure SQL Database?

The best thing about azure AQL Database that I like is its very flexible and scalable platform that offers a wide range of tools and services for developers to build and deploy applications and manage cloud services.

It provides data security with backup and restore features that help with data loss. It also offers a Data Encryption feature to protect sensitive data by encrypting it so that unauthorized users can not access the data stored in the database.

Pricing is very flexible; you pay for what you are using. I must recommend it to anyone looking for cloud-based database solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure SQL Database?

Azure SQL Database is way good for offering cloud base solutions, but it also has some limitations:

It does not support multiple database transactions in one instance, which makes it challenging to run complex queries or do anything that requires joins.

I don't say it is expensive, but it's a bit pricey compared to other service providers.

What problems is Azure SQL Database solving and how is that benefiting you?

Azure provides many features to create, process, analyze and deploy an application or web service that uses cloud-based databases. It provides Databricks, Bot Services, Computer Vision, Recognizer and more. All of this helps in managing different features in applications and web services.

No need to mangae or maintain the DB server as it is managed by azure ans hassel free installation and upgradation to premium wherever required.No need to worry about backup . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While Microsoft Azure provides the best data integration options with SAP ECC, SAP S/4, and SAP BW/4HANA in the Cloud ecosystem, there is still a scope to make it more robust and full-proof considering the SAP backend data is not always straightforward, and you need to understand it before you can play with it.
