No need to mangae or maintain the DB server as it is managed by azure ans hassel free installation and upgradation to premium wherever required.No need to worry about backup . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We can have multiple DB in single server and we cant efficiently set the compute power to each db in it . If this enabled we can use dev and prod on single db setting low compute power to DB Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Among all prominent cloud service providers like AWS, GCP and Azure, when it comes to integrating with the SAP ecosystem, Azure seems to be the front-runner! It's Azure Data Factory based framework to integrate with SAP ECC and SAP S/4; SAP BW/4HANA is among the most seamless integration available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure SQL Database?

While Microsoft Azure provides the best data integration options with SAP ECC, SAP S/4, and SAP BW/4HANA in the Cloud ecosystem, there is still a scope to make it more robust and full-proof considering the SAP backend data is not always straightforward, and you need to understand it before you can play with it. What do you like best about Azure SQL Database?

You have multiple options based on your use cases and it all works. You just need to know when to use what. There's the commonly used Sql Server(which is now hosted on cloud), then you have Sql Warehouses, that they renamed to Synapse and added a whole lot of great functionalities which is appreciated. What do you dislike about Azure SQL Database?

Their constant renaming and rebranding of stuff is just mind-boggling. Sql warehouses became Azure Synapse. If you ask anyone what Synapse is, they will give you an answer different from another answer that you might get and both of them would be correct.
