Need lots of IT knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"high-level application platform with built-in communication and security"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Azure Sphere?

1. High-value security at a low cost, so that price-sensitive, microcontroller-powered devices can safely and reliably connect to the internet.

2. A hardware-based root of trust ensures that the device and its identity cannot be separated, thus preventing device forgery or spoofing.

3. Defense in depth provides for multiple layers of security and thus multiple mitigations against each threat.

4. Errors in device software or hardware are typical in emerging security attacks; errors that result in device failure constitute a denial-of-service attack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Sphere?

1. It is difficult to learn for beginners.

2. If someone is new to this field, it will be a little difficult for them to get it all at once, but the progress will be present and there will be new things all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Technical Leap far from any other controller"
4/5
What do you like best about Azure Sphere?

1. The kind of security has been given to the controller at such a less price is really stunning.

2. Can be used as controller, a processor and electronic device for smart processing - which makes me think that this may be the most versatile thing you can have in your electronic collection.

3. The OS which has been given as the functioning aspect of this product made me go crazy since the applications are limitless.

4. The cloud communication, database access and its speed is always at a consistent rate which is really useful in long drive applications.

5. The built-in IoT has really helped me a lot since it has been absent in such low range controllers and the possibility of it will make this a lot costlier. But these guys did it. The product is perfect for any application with the better insight on it and have the great way of dealing with other aspects like physical conditions too.

6. I never even once observed any heating up in the controller sphere which is a lot good since I use high end long running ML and IoT algorithms which made this a lot useful for me.

7. Overall. its a good package which contains all of the things which an Electronics or Computer Science Engineer like me will look in a device which is capable of much more than what it looks like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Sphere?

1. The biggest thing I dislike is this will be a complicated thing to learn for beginners. But the great thing is the help provided by them are detailed and super easy to understand.

2. If someone is new to this field, it will be a little difficult for them to get it all at once, but the progress will be present and there will be new things all the time.

3. The process of security is good, but there should be a new interface which let us to disable those for educational purposes of a new guy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
