I like that it is a fully-managed service service and its engine helps me get deep insights into my deployed media services. I get real-time data from my IoT devices. I'm not too fond of the fact that I don't have access to the underlying hardware on which this service runs and when come to data privacy, it is not easy for a startup company like mine to be guaranteed that its data is securely stored and cannot be sold to third parties for commercial gains. It solves a very big problem in my IoT device because I don't have to manage my own infrastructure on which I analyse my clips from my Raspberry Pi. Everything is managed for me. With a few simple lines of code I can add powerful artificial intelligence capabilities to process video and audio. What do you dislike about Azure Media Analytics? One drawback is that processing many hours of video can be expensive. While the prices are competitive, parsing hundreds of hours of media content can add up to a large Azure bill. What do you dislike about Azure Media Analytics? The integration of Opensource OCR models such as Tesseract or Easy-OCR provides users to opt for particular models for different applications. Digitization of text from images, videos and documents by seamless extraction of text is helping our team to extract subtitles from videos, analyse the business documents by extracting the entities via OCR. In general, it was were difficult to build and maintain the pipeline using opensource code. Our team is happy with OCR services. Hoping to build many usecases within the company for internal use.
