## Azure Logic Apps Reviews
  ### 1. Better than AWS SWF and step functions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

Azure Logic Apps is a cloud service that helps you automate and orchestrate tasks, business processes, and workflows when you need to integrate apps, systems, data, and services across enterprises or organizations

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Sometimes documentations are not a bit explicit to demonstrate what can be done and how.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

go for it

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many small serverless actions can be very easily solved with Azure logic apps. We don't need to build separate Apps to solve those use cases separately,

  ### 2. Azure Scheduler Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

The interface is very easy to use. It offers different type of jobs to run with the scheduler like HTTP or HTTPs jobs that can inboke actions to be executed on both old and new endpoints running the different versions of the protocol. It does not matter if they are inside or outside of the Azure cloud environment. It also offers a job overview page which provides a very graphic output of the job statuses that are running or the ones that may be disabled which makes it easier to manage the different tasks you are running on the Scheduler.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

The free option plan for the jobs that can be run to test the application are very limited. The maximum is only 5 that can be run with a maximum frequency of 1 hour which makes it hard for the user to actually test the performance of the Azure Scheduler. Although, this applies for only one specific job collection that you create. Meaning that you can create more, but then again the constraints for this free plan option are very limited.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

Now that this feature is out there, users will not have to create virtual machines to run schedules in the background that you will have to maintain and it's not highly available and makes it hard to manage.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azure Scheduler not only provides a new platform service for Windows customers, but for third parties as well. It provides mobile services, schedule scripts features for companies like Skype and Xbox video to schedule work on the background of their applications. It’s definitely an application that you can count on to work reliably, even durinf unexpectedly failures.

  ### 3. A simple and easy to use programmer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** alejandro d. | Administrador de cuenta, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

I like it is a great platform gives you a lot of information in real time of the platform, informs me if I get to have any problem and I can solve it immediately, is great because I can synchronize with other devices. maintains a history of job execution results that can be reviewed and, deterministically and reliably, schedules the workloads to be executed.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

its interface at first is a little difficult to understand as it has many applications which we do not know what to use, communication with the support is sometimes a little slow

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

I recommend this great platform because with Azure Scheduler you can keep your activities running in the cloud through decisive representational activities. The administration at that point naturally calendars and executes those activities. For example, you can call benefits inside and outside Azure, for example, call HTTP or HTTps endpoints and in addition, present messages on Azure storage lines and Azure Service Bus lines or points. The programmer effortlessly reinforces complex schedules and driven repetition. The programmer determines when to run occupations, maintains a past full of employment results that you can survey, and then typically and reliably plans the remaining tasks to run. in short it is a great platform.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us greatly this great platform, mainly helps us to better organize all the tasks we have to perform, including recurring tasks, provides application services, in short it is a great platform that helps us to reach the next level in our organization!

If you are not expert, it's difficult to troubleshoot when an unexpected error occurs.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

It's an excellent cloud platform to schedule your jobs easy and safe.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is the most powerful tool that helps with recurring tasks and background jobs! We are using this product to maintenace our databases daily. You can make lot of jobs with easy!

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

The only thing I can complain about this tool is that when something unexpected happens is hard yo troubleshoot specialy for new users.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

This application is really user friendly, even for new users running this type of application, you can automate multiple tasks based on all your needs. you can schedule task since collecting logs from a external server, every perform backups.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem I am taking care of with this application is that there are tasks that must he performed after hours pm the company and could not stay that long so I am running those tasks with this application.

Automate most of the things which we use to do manually like triggering logic app using emails or HTTP request and update or run SQL stored procedure using logic app actions

  ### 7. Great all in one product

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

This software is ideal for simple automation, kind of like IFTTT, but you can do a lot more with it. It's also very easy to use this with security groups.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

There are some things that can make it tricky to debug. There's a code-behind, but it's not very usable IMO. Doing advanced custom work with it can be slow and painful. If you just need OOB or simple things it's fine, but as soon as you go beyond like 50 steps worth of things to do, it get's hard to manage.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

Explore what comes out of the box to avoid having to create what's already built, and abuse the Slack notifications feature for debugging.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using it to customize my Support management system by having it notify Slack when an emergency issue from Freshdesk comes in.

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

One of the best tools available online to automate the business process and implement workflows and provides easy integration with various tools available in the market. It helps design the workflows and allows to implement business logics and provides numerous connectors to connect different enterprise applications to be integrated easily in the workflow.

There are quite a load of features that makes it one of the best business process management tool and below are a few among them:

No need to download any hefty software on the PC and allows the creation of workflows and business process in an online editor that provides drag and drop functionality.

Easy integration of various email servers for providing notifications during the process workflow.

Provision of REST calls to initiate the workflow as per the requirement.

Integration with Azure storage service to capture addition deletion or modification of data in the storage.

Easy integration and query management with various databases such as MySQL.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Though there are various connectors provided by in the Azure Logic Apps, there are sometimes a few business logic that cannot be straightaway be implemented within the workflow. It doesn't provide all the functionalities that a trivial business process management tool provides.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

One of the best cloud-based business process management tool available that provides the flexibility of connecting and integrating with various enterprise applications that most companies use.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business was a content repository system wherein when files were uploaded, they needed to be processed and then stored in the Azure Storage. The azure logic app was used to implement a process workflow to trigger notifications to the users once the file was successfully processed and stored in the storage.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

The plug and play style of design is ideal to remove costs from custom development.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Support for this is extremely hard to find at Microsoft. We had a project delayed weeks waiting for Microsoft to find proper resources to help try to resolve our issues during initial implementation, and we still ended up figuring it out ourselves first.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using Logic Apps as an integration layer between many different systems we need to communicate that do not have 3rd party extensions.

  ### 36. Azure Logic app

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zil S. | Business Analyst/Product Owner, Food & Beverages, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2018

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

managing pipelines, importing data from the file into data set and importing it into database

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

As such nothing specific to dislike. but its just a bit time consuming process to learn.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem was importing a csv, flat file into the Azure cloud server is complex process and Azure Logic app/data factory is the best solution to importing data from the file to directly into cloud server

  ### 37. Easy to schedule

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

The ease to schedule reoccurring emails and posts has really helped maintain regular communication with clients.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

I haven’t run into any issues so far, and any questions I have had were quickly answered.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Regular communication that can be easily managed in case anyone wants more or less communication.

  ### 38. BizTalk Hyper Connection - VPN Alternative

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2016

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

You can easily connect one service (even one port) of on-premise server with Cloud Azure infrastructure using Hyper Connection feature. It is easy to setup on cloud side ( e.g. it is only few clicks in Web Apps to get this ready) and just one click on on premise host to commit process

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

BizTalk service is available on old Azure portal only, so there are some issues if you are using Role Based Access model. There Powershell Module is not available in Gallery and related SDK, that should include it doesn't work with new versions of Visual Studio.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

You can use this approach if fast and easy to configure solution is needed

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With BizTalk Hyper Connections feature we have connected on-premise server with cloud infrastructure in secure way, so some kind of hybrid solution.

  ### 39. BizTalk Services - robust app integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

The ability to offer customers a way to bridge the gap between their legacy business applications and applications leveraging cloud deployment models. As a service provider we need to support customers who have hybrid IT deployments and BizTalk enables us to give them the best of both worlds.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Creating this type of integration is still a fairly complex process/project. It's not necessarily the right solution for every customer we service and there are other, perhaps more fully developed, solutions available on the marketplace.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem solved is how do we share information from our back-end ERP system to Line of Business Applications we have in the cloud and vice versa. So many companies are making a gradual, in some cases not so gradual, transition to the cloud in multiple areas and maintaining some level of integration is key to the success of that transition.

  ### 40. Windows Azure is very seamless for .NET projects

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nir Z. | Software Engineer, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

The ease of deployment of .NET projects to Azure is incredible. The system truly was built with the .NET ecosystem in mind. Integration with Visual Studio is wonderful, and managing the deployment lifecycle through Microsoft's ecosystem is often very seamless. In particular, the ability to configure and monitor auto-scaling options to allow for cost savings and confidence in production systems is a huge benefit over other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Windows Azure's reliability can go in waves. After a year and a half of using Cloud Services, we have seen periods of downtime that were often inexplicable. Typically, services would come back up as inexplicably as they went down. Nonetheless, these issues are few and far between, and Azure's customer support team has always been very responsive.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

Read the documentation before writing any code. It's often confusing, but building things right the first time around can be a huge time-saver later on.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our original decision to use Azure was its seamless integration into the .NET ecosystem. We have several Windows Servers deployed through Cloud Services, and they all access a common back-end built on Azure Tables, Queues, and Caches. Because the SDK is easy to work with, linking all of those backend components together is easy. It's simple and straightforward to get up to speed, and everything is managed through one portal.

  ### 41. following this product and performing POC's

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinod S. | Integration Development Manager, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

Microsoft is investing heavily on this product to evolve as good IPASS platform. I like the EDI features that are supported in Azure Biztalk Services. Migration tools are readily available to convert on premise EDI interfaces as cloud based solutions.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

It would be great if connectors are also supported to connect to few SAAS apps like Salesforce or Marketo etc. Currently connections are supported via Web services or Service Bus.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently doing POC's to better understand supported features and reliability. EDI in cloud is biggest benefit. New EDI solutions can be built in days even for enterprise requirements.

  ### 42. Nice product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Viral P. | Principal Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

Windows Azure BizTalk Services provides nice integration capabilities for the Windows Azure Platform to extend on-premises applications to the cloud, provides very good messaging endpoints on the cloud to process and transform the messages, enables business-to-business messaging, and helps organizations integrate with disparate applications, both on cloud and on-premises. BizTalk Services provides common integration capabilities (e.g. bridges, transforms, B2B messaging) on Windows Azure.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Cost is the big problem. Need range of products. Need to add more platform and tools for app model..

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

It is definitely very good technology if you want to transform to app model and want to reduce scalability and performance costs..

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to reduce scalability , performance, hardware and maintenance cost . It is really great product.

  ### 43. National Solutions Director at Neudesic LLC based in chicago

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samar R. | National Solutions Director, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

I love the edi and eai capabilities. Love the fact that it integrates well with the local services that may be available.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Needs to become feature rich. Does not seem fully baked.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

This is not a replacement for BizTalk on premise by any means. It is an offering that was missing from BizTalk on premise. A lot of times WABS can hold its own grounds very well. A lot of times it succeeds with BizTalk on premise.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Edi integrations.

  ### 44. Great Idea

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amad R. | BizTalk Consultant, Food & Beverages, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

Best thing is worry free application support after deployment.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Control could be less and dependent on Microsoft's response to any hardware level failures if any appeared down the road.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Routing of business messages between trading partners and within internal enterprise systems.

  ### 45. Very good platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabio H. | SharePoint Development Manager, Automotive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

The platform is extremely powerful, and flexible.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Interruptions and a lot of recent features.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It used to take a long time for the infrastructure team to provision servers for my web application and the stability of the environment was not very good as well as limited hardware resources. I can get whatever resources i need immediately, i can grow and make the application as well as the infrastructure exactly as i need it.

  ### 46. Full-featured environment, without the on-site demands

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark D. | Founder & President, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

New features that match corporate/enterprise needs and environments are continuously added, and pricing for commonly-used features are regularly lowered. Plus table storage is the best thing since sliced bread.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

There have been several service interruptions, like when an un-renewed SSL certificate brought Azure down worldwide. But things have improved greatly.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

For .NET developers and architects, absolutely consider Windows Azure.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used Windows Azure for several projects, but the bottom line is developing solutions for startups or projects where on-site solutions are cost-prohibitive. This includes hosting servers, websites and services, and "big data" storage solutions.

  ### 47. Great tool for reduce performance costs and better availability.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

Hit the ground with less ramp up time.Pay as you use functionality will allow us to only pay for the time we use.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Time to configure for large scale applications.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Logic Apps:**

Worth to try and make decision on your requirements.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increase in maintenance cost and this will help us to reduce them. And Pay as you use feature is best.

  ### 48. Great product for middle market integration needs.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George W. | Partner, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

BizTalk Server is a great middle market tool for application integration needs that are relatively low in complexity or in environments that do not have traditional ESB style integration platforms. The adapters available give mid market companies a great jump start on common integration concerns such as EDI.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

Expensive for the customers who can benefit the most from it. Concerned about future of product long term.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple / Small integration. Cloud based greatly reduces cost of entry.

  ### 49. Best out there

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siva A. | Lead BizTalk/.NET Engineer, Management Consulting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

Easy to develop and great support from Microsoft. You can write your own adapters to LoB applications and extend capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

There are short coming like message size, use of business rule engine but I hope they'll go away soon. I'm aware of only these as so far we haven't had any problems.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use BizTalk Server for on-premise integration and are exploring hybrid option with WABS to connect to our clients.

  ### 50. BizTalk Services

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison B. | Business Process Manager - Information Technology, Consumer Goods, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2014

**What do you like best about Azure Logic Apps?**

Drag and drop mapping was convenient and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Azure Logic Apps?**

I found it very difficult to learn and it was not intuitive at all.

**What problems is Azure Logic Apps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using it mostly for EDI Mapping. We were able to translate with it.
