Its an managed service that help us to reduce the complexity of the deploying and managing nodes, pods, containers etc. on infra part so that we can look after aplication part and also easy integration with acr and AD. What problems is Azure Kubernetes Services solving and how is that benefiting you? AKS help in auto deploying the clusters of master and workers nodes and they can share the resources like storage, CPU, memory, GPU etc from the total predefined quota pool. It manages resources utilization and monitor their health. Its easily integrate with ACR and also with AD which help in assigning roles based access control with security. Once application is deployed on Azure k8s, it is easy manage and scale. User friendly UI. I felt deploying other servicers like pods, svc(load balancer) or any k8s services are easy. Though deploying seems easy on k8s, integrating k8s services over other services relying in other cloud providers required more effort. I felt working with network issues and resolving them is difficult, however it is same for aws, gcp and other cloud provider as well. Having track over the cost on k8s services is difficult. Azure Kubernetes was improving a lot from their launch far away at the 2018, and now is a powerful environment for full stack developers and dev ops. We are implementing Kubernetes in our organization and deploying test environments to start our production site. Microsoft support always help us with different doubts and it´s very valuable thing. AKS is a cost effective container orchestraion Azure offers with relatively easy to depoly and get started with. ASK is also every easy to connect with other azure services. If you have to update the policy of a cluster we have to do it manualy which is time consuming. Infra management and Implementation is easy, since it take care of automated updates, and vertical and horizontal scaling. As other cloud providers, Azure contorls control plane access, hence full grained access is limited. Another point which I faced is, vanilla K8s is not fully supported by Azure K8s :(.
