To handle such an environment an organization needs much expertise and experienced people. The cost of data transfer is high. It is also difficult to understand the pricing. Azure AKS has come a long way in the last couple of years. It's fairly stable, and the overall platform is the best K8S experience I've found in Azure. The Azure VNet / CNI integration is very helpful in a high-security environment. Microsoft is also quite responsive on production support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)? As is often the case in Azure, AKS support for new services comes with compromises. Want to run virtual kubelets ("ACI Connector") on a VNet? Sure, but you're going to be missing Managed Identity. There are some pitfalls, and even with top tier support MS doesn't always make them obvious ahead of time. In last few years, Azure shows a strong competitor in Cloud technologies, especially AWS. Now we can say, both providers have the same services.
