I have implemented it in various project for various purposes. It is one of the good feature to implement some action based on some event as per your requirement. Microsoft Azure Event Grid is a very good app for handling event driven applications. If the event-driven systems are distributed in different sites and the communication used is complicated, the Microsoft Azure Event Grid is simple to manages it. The event grid aims at the logistic direction instead of the software structure. In this platform, you can build serverless applications. You can also create cloud apps.
