## Azure Compute Reviews
  ### 1. Azure Compute

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** infant r. | Lead vmware admin, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Azure Compute?**

The very first thing i like about azure compute is it's easy to administer compared to it's competitor cloud , creation of virtual instance are so simple , it's scalable solution is amazing & east to configure. Any on-prem admin who want to learn cloud , they can easily learn Azure compute , as easy as microsoft windows

**What do you dislike about Azure Compute?**

mostly the dislike which comes to my mind in security , azure is bit lacking in their security perspective when compared to other clouds...provision of GPU's in our preferred region is also difficult.

**What problems is Azure Compute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The major problem is security , we want a dedicated security team to investigate how our azure environment is protected. In case of any vm issue ,the diagnose page will give the solution for the same but it recommends it own tools , instead it can give a clear cut solution will be better. And also the monitoring is not granular , we need to dependent on prometheus or any other monitoring tool to get the granular data. We have integrated our prometheus & vrops tools to monitor azure .

  ### 2. Azure Compute--High usability, great customisation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kavya P. | Freelance Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Azure Compute?**

Launching a virtual machine only takes a couple of minutes. It also allows creating VMs with pre-built images and preset configurations
Wide range of options to customise my VM as per my needs, in terms of instance types, networking and security.
Allows switching to the classic UI, which in my terms is synchronous with ease of usability for the end-user.

**What do you dislike about Azure Compute?**

Sometimes, the VM provisioning issue causes cluster failures in my data environment, and it takes a while to triage the root cause. One has to sieve through the VM logs to understand what went wrong.

**What problems is Azure Compute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Azure VMs mainly for my big data applications to launch clusters in my data environment.
I use the Azure VMs with a custom data script so that my VM loads with a pre-configuration of my web app/service
