What do you like best about Azure Cloud Services?

"Good Cloud Provider But Slow Panel"

What do you like best about Azure Cloud Services?

Azure was the first cloud I've tried. I like Azure because they have a lot of select locations that other cloud providers don't have. I really like the central south US location because that's where most of my clients are at, and it's strategically placed in the center of North America, which gives them low latency across America. What do you dislike about Azure Cloud Services?

Azure can sometimes painstakingly slow when stopping instances. I've experienced this problem over 3 times already when instances are stopping. My virtual machine instance was stuck on "Deallocating" for a few hours, and I could not access it. Of course, I could after waiting 3 hours. Azure is also costly, so I rather not leave my instance on 24/7 to save money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure Cloud Services solving and how is that benefiting you?

Azure has helped us in setting up temporary servers for our customers to run their programs in locations that other cloud providers do not serve. The servers are closer to the customers, so they all get lower latency, which improves response time for our applications. The benefits I realized is that our customers experienced lower latency on Azure, which means happier customers.

Also, I find that Azure network has the best routing out of any other network. From South Central US to West US only takes 25ms, which is astonishing. It helped us reach our customers faster, which is essential for the real time work they're processing on the servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The organization is using the microservice architecture for and first time using cloud computing services. Along with Azure, we started with two other cloud providers and found Azure easy to integrate. E.g., Azure Cosmos, Azure Postgres solved the NoSql and RDBMS database problems, Azure Vault solve the issues related to credentials. The best being the AKS. "Azure Machine learning is breathtaking!"

What do you like best about Azure Cloud Services?

Azure Machine Learning designer and its optimisation made for the Classification and regression models.

I have used a lot of regression and A/B testing in my project scenarios and it was really user friendly and intuitive to get the models loss free and optimal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Cloud Services?

Azure cloud Cognitive Services based on Natural Language Processing can be improved. Cognitive services can be made better by using the most common templates available like in Tensor Flow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure Cloud Services?

The web apps work fairly well and help reduce PCI scope Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Cloud Services?

Billing error caused production outage and took 2 hours to resolve.

Any production issue takes at least 12 hours to resolve.

28% VM failure rate in 7 months.

Frequent failovers of Azure SQL that require app and deploys to be resilient to 60s outages.

Terrible documentation on anything but the simplest solution.

Incompetent first and second tier support.

Beta rollouts of new features that broke base functionality and took 7 days to resolve because support isn't aware of beta rollout that breaks existing functionality.
