There is not much i dislike, but have minor issue in some of services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-Azure Blob Storage manages massive amount of Blob(unstructured) data helping in scaling seemlessly on demand and accomodating the growing data without compromising the performance. It supports Block blob, append blob and page blob.

-3 tiered storage options - Hot, Cold, Archive is supported allowing to choose the appropriate tier based on data retrieval and data acess frequency requirements to manage cost efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-Based on the selected redundancy option & geography, there might be some latency in accessing data sometimes, thereby effecting the performace of time sentitive applications.

-Data moving out of Azure Blob Storage incurs additional cost, specially when the data volume is high, which may becaomes costly for business sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a cloud computing platform and offer more than 200 services and tools for it's user with user friendly interface.

Being data engineer ,I am leaveraging microsoft azure as IaaS and PaaS in my professional work to build, run, and manage applications on cloud.

It can be used by "PAY AS YOU GO" formula means we pay for what we use.

Well integrated with other microsoft services and products with high customer support.

One basic problem that user face with microsoft azure is learning means initially it is more complex for new user to learn thus it require more training,customer support and learning material before using it real problem.

The feature that I admire the most about azure blob storage is the ease of use and a large number of features that it provides. Be it data migration from a database to the blob, storing documents in blob to be accessed by code or its integration with data factory to store datasets it proves to be super efficient in all the cases. The only feature that I dislike about the blob storage is it's costing model. As the storage grows the cost also grows exponentially and more if you have enables NFS in your blob storage account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Azure blob storage provides us easily scalable cloud storage with number of useful features like sharing the files with pre-signed auth token, deleting the files based on certain pattern i.e after x days, organizing private & public files easily with pre-defined feature called containers, provides various services integrations support.

Azure provides exclusive feature "containers" where we can create isolated storages with the following levels: public private and Container levels which makes it more easy for us to maintain access levels.

I am impressed by the whole Azure microsoft ecosystem, it hs brought everything to one place whether its analytics, ETL, data flow, Data govervance, all these features are bundles into Mircrosoft azure. Sometimes I face bugs while creating Pipelines it doesnt allow me to add dynamic parameters. they dissappear and I have to reload the page Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
