I overall have good experience with Axway FMT but somewhere i found that the User interface could be better, there are plenty of space for the same and another thing which i didnt found is user guidelines for different format or ways for transfer, I personally didn't find that anywhere in the application, this guidelines helps new users to understand the flow better. In CG , certificate part is bit complex where complexity can be reduced by not using Governance CA and can be proposed with alternate approach as most companies won't provide CA authority for signing certs In ST , When integrated with CG , its functionality/ feature is not under CG control and hence some features are not under use. We have been using Transfer CFT and Gateway for file transfer. We used Transfer CFT for Internal Transfer (Server to Server). The best thing about it is that it is available for almost all operating systems. We used Gateway for file transfer between the organization and external partners. The most significant advantage is it supports many Transfer Protocols. This flexibility allows customers to choose the way they can connect and send files to the organization. The most painful part is reporting and auditing because the products are disintegrated and do not have inbuilt reporting tools.
