I like that the support team stays consistent, and over the years we've gotten to know each other. I recognize every technician that logs in to check on my tickets. Also, I appreciate that Axcient is willing to work with my unique communications needs as I am deaf, and do not use audio products. The techs and I communicate via chat session while working on projects together. My favorite part is probably that they are always willing to share how they solved issues so that I am enabled to solve these same issues at a future time without requiring support. My current biggest disappointment is that there does not seem to be a hardware refresh package. When I came onboard as a partner I brought a bunch of clients with me that all needed backup appliances immediately. That was a few years ago, and now there are a big number of them running appliances that are out of warranty and there is no easy upgrade path. Some incentives would be a great asset for us to stay on top of their hardware refreshes, to ensure that all clients' appliances stay under warranty.

Also, please offer 5 year warranties- that is our standard for all servers we sell our clients, it would be really nice if Axcient has that ability to extend warranties beyond 3 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Price Point is great, but what I really like is the ability to use our own hardware. This allows us to control costs and not charge our clients for hardware that while is great hardware, is overkill for their needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's not able to be used on an ESXI Host to do a full backup of the virtualized systems. It can backup virtualized systems as though they were physical, but not through the VMware host. Which in rare cases for us, means we can't get a direct snapshot of unix hosts as axcient is Windows only. There are work arounds that do the job, but directly having the snapshots backing up through the ESXI host would be a benefit on those systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
