The only downsize is storing and restoring from Axcient Cache, depending on the size of the backup, the cache size can be faily large. I prefer the direct to cloud. Its simple to setup. But its expensive in my opinion. To have it onsite you must by an appliance, which are fair priced. Still, there will be an investment. The UI is not very good. It takes a million clicks to get what you want. The labels don't make sense. I end up going in a loop all the time looking for what I want. Bring your own device is what sold me on the product initially but as we've used the product, I cannot stress enough how easy the appliance is to setup and manage. Not being able to quickly mount a quick file restore via the internet (for very small files, word documents etc). It takes a few minutes to download and install the recovery centre, login, and mount the volume to do a restore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used many backup, disaster, recovery solutions in the past and I must admit ... Axcient x360 is by far the best. I personally backup to the local BDR every 4 hours (can be up to 15 minutes) and sync to the cloud vault nightly. I love how easy it is to recover individual documents from an explorer like menu, but the ability to spin up a VM from the BDR in the case of an emergency outage is a great feature. On the down-side, the backend systems could interface better. If you drop a client, you will need to remove the client from multiple locations to ensure that you no longer get billed. We were unable, with assistance from Axcient, to perform restores in two separate tests. We also were able to demostrate that all techs with x360 portal access were able to view and recover files from otherwise protected shares with no safeguards, audits, or alerts.
